The showroom has a good amount of items to consider but know that there are also catalogs with tons of other choices if you don't see what you want. Most items get ordered from Poland so be prepared to wait 8-12 weeks in some cases. There are lots of different levels of quality and price points - that said, I thought prices were pretty reasonable. One thing I especially liked is that their items do not contain added chemical flame retardants - it's not required in Europe and the chemical off gassing is bad for you (trust me on this one, I work in the industry). Anyway, the staff here is super nice and not pushy at all. If you have a minute, let them explain/show you features that night not be apparent at first glance. A lot of items have hidden storage, sleepers or adjust in ways that typical American furniture doesn't. We're considering a bedroom set up from them and I seriously covet one if the rugs they have. I'll be back.

Since I recently moved cross-country to Chicago, I am in need for office furniture. I went with my husband hoping to find a office chair or some furniture to use until my furniture arrives via Pod in a few months. Anyway they allowed (1) free piece of furniture and also was selling preused furniture for $39 and $99 bucks. We really lucked out. My husband found a big chair for our living room for free. We purchased a huge book case for my office. In addition to these pieces, we found a rolling ottoman and a side table. We were thrilled with our finds. This wharehouse is open to the public and had a floor dedicated to sale/clearance items and a bunch of new items too. The prices seemed reasonable on the new items too. Checkout website for items currently on sale. I would like to shout-out Mark (owner) and Junior for having awesome customer service. Junior helped me with approximating how many yards of fabric I would need to reupholster the chair that we got for free. Oh yes, I failed to mentioned they have lots of fabric for sale. At the event the fabric was only $5 a yard. Such a deal. Stay with me here, George and Augie Furniture is quite literally hidden in plain sight, just a slight turn off Armitage just under the train tracks... And once inside -- a whole wonderful world of wood furniture, salvaged pieces, metal chairs, glass light fixtures and other treasures to be had. I found the most *perfect* entry bench/coat rack (on sale for $200!), a bedside table ($180) and a small stool ($80). They were running a sale (and word on the street is if you check in on Yelp you'll get a 10 percent discount on full priced items, so...get your phone's out!). The owner (Greg) is awesome. Super helpful, lent me a tape measure, knows the ins and ous of every piece, helped me load my storage rack into the car, didn't fit, brought it over in his own car (I live a few blocks away so I don't think this is a customary thing, but regardless this guy is tops). I can't even with how much I love this place. Trust me peeps, you don't need another trip to IKEA or Target for boring ass particle board furniture -- you need to get yourself on over to this hot little tamale to get yourself some unique pieces that say "hey, I tried." After we close in looking for the cabinet doors they were nowhere to be found. Phil and Brian whipped up some custom cabinets and have them installed in just a few weeks. They also created a few extra drawers and shelves for the cabinet on my request. The other was a custom built book case. Flawless. Working off a few magazine photos and some pictures from the Internet they designed built and installed a custom bookcase that will add charm to the room for decades to come. These guys build stuff that lasts.
