I have no clue how it rates to the large cable companies, as I don't have the option to use cable where I live. But...when I hear what most people pay for internet...I am super happy that I have the ability to use Ptera.I can say that compared to the company we used prior, they are heads and tails better in service and connectivity. I have had a few issues, but all were able to be identified while on the phone with a tech, and often times solved. I do have high speed internet at my office, and I can say that the very old laptop I use at home, is only very slightly slower when accessing the internet than the new computer I use in the office.

I later spoke with Al at their office and went over plans and my options and he was very forthcoming with information and very professional. Our tech was also very kind, respectful of our property and knowledgeable. The installation was quick and clean, and the tech was patient with me while i checked to ensure all our devices were working. We did loose internet recently, but the next day I called for some help, my call was answered quickly by Janet....I believe. She was professional and have clear instructions on what to do( we also messed with the router and made things a little worse) but she identified the issue (power outage at the tower) we rebooted the router signal from the tower to the router and everything was fixed. They have been great!! I would highly recommend!!
