Xfinity is a joke. i was paying $100 for the last 2 years then the last 2 months it went all the way to $170 with no warning no anything. the absolute worst customer service I have had. Had more and more problems with customer service over the phone (mysterious charges, promises of a new better price for all the same services and then having our phone service being shut off and not having all the tv channels and even it seems attempts at gaslighting which took about 3 hours and 45 minutes on the phone) and a technician came out to get our phone back which they accidently (?) shut off. After hearing some of our problems, told us we should try the store since we already tried over the phone. He said he would document he was fixing some of the problems that customer service caused, and we would not be charged for his visit. We tried the store and were given a higher price but were so exhausted took it. The first month's price was supposed to be lower due to all the hassle. We asked for it in writing, even though we had 3 witnesses, and also asked her to include what next month's price would be. We went home thinking everything was fixed and got messages at the top of the screen saying we owed $100 more for the month we paid. We went back to the store again and brought the paper we were given, and it seemed like the guy was just going to tire us out and give us a bunch of information that we already knew (maybe gaslighting?) and wouldn't help us. He didn't seem to care to hear anything anyone else said. He said the first store agent who gave us paper couldn't take off for the technician visit like she said. (She said she had worked there for 10 years and should know what she can do.) We finally got him to get us a supervisor, and she claimed we needed to pay almost $50 and we paid it because we were exhausted and at least it wasn't $100. It is exhausting to have to go to the store and wait to be treated like that guy had been doing. The next month's bill was supposed to be what the first store agent wrote on her paper. We saw the receipt the supervisor gave us said we needed to automatic pay, or it would be about $6 more. We did not agree to this and did not give them the right to retain credit card information. We told the first agent on the first visit we would not do that because we couldn't trust what they decided to bill. The last agent did not ask. Now the bill is about $6 more than the first store agent's written price and over $20 more than the customer service agent on the phone. Instead of taking next customer he went over to another male worker and started hugging and fondling him. After three or 4 minutes of this he finally came back to his station. The only service available to us in our apartment is Xfinity. We were upgrading our Internet which we were told we would need a new modem. After a super long time on the phone they finally were able to get us one. But turns out it was the wrong one! So I took it into the store and told them. They then CHARGED ME for the few days I used this one even though we never received the amount of internet we were being told to pay for as the modem wasn't strong. So I paid for a better internet while receiving the same speed as before. I spent over 12 hours on the phone trying to get any kind of help with all of this stuff. And even now with a decent internet speed, our internet goes out CONSTANTLY. I work from home occasionally and can't even get through a day without it going out on me several times. I changed my internet provider for internet-phone plan. I brought back their modem and asked for receipt. Instead of giving me receipt he took the modem and direct me to talk to a person via video cam regarding with my account, how much the remaining bill to pay then instructed me to return the modem and get a receipt. I went back to the customer desk and asked the guy a receipt. I told them I returned the modem and need a receipt. He asked me about it. I said someone took it and he said, it's not here. I insisted they had it. He said he can't give me a receipt unless he has the modem and he have no time to look one by one in the shelf. I even pointed the guy who took it to prove that I had it returned. He said they will figure out once all the returned modems get scanned while leaving away. I went home pissed off . The worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life. Been trying to get Internet to my house for a month drove 45 minutes just so I could actually talk to somebody about awful technician that came to my house and disrespected my home and myself. I have video footage of him outside on the phone talking shit about myself. When I arrived at the store to ask what was going on and complain about him telling them I did not want him at my house ever again. The manager reassured me that somebody would be getting a hold of me and if not to email him. I emailed the three times and no response back and no phone call from anybody. I went into the store for a second time, after having to wait 30 minutes to just get to somebody with an iPad they can get the manager to help me again. He came out and acted though nothing even happened and just sat there quietly and cowardly. At one point during the conversation, I told the representative that I was not a child and he needed to fix the way that he was talking to me. He was a complete asshole. No resolution no nothing no apology. I was still willing to use their Internet if they could just tell me when they were gonna put it in the ground. But nobody had an answer. Also, they treated a man with special needs very awful. He just had one simple question and he was told that he needed to go sit down. If I could give this place a zero I would. I have had good experiences at other Xfinity locations, for example the one off Indiana was great! So going in I expected quality service. Upon walking in we were "greeted" by asking what we wanted. Unfortunately what we were there for couldn't happen the same day which is totally understandable! What wasn't understandable was the employees tone and unkind approach to us? Have to say that when we came in to switch over our phones, did not expect a timely response. Kenny and Chris both understood that we needed a service that did not involve calling around the world to get a sim card unlocked. With the struggle to get our previous sims unlocked to port numbers taking long with the "others" customer service, their patience and understanding helped keep me calm. After 35 minutes of "unspeakable english" I simply said switch numbers. Other than having to update all my contacts of the new change, my overall satisfaction was above and beyond. read more

From day 1 disgusting! my wife got her Apple Watch & our 2 phones bundled with internet. & Come to find out , the rep opens 3 separate accounts for our devices, so we had issues from the start that eventually, after hours/days they figured it out. Huge headache & now after paying off my 13pro I'm switching back cause the service is so bad & not worth the savings in a bundle.. well now my paid off 13pro that they have records & notes of device being paid off will not unlock. Terrible customer service. Called multiple times about a bill after I had cancelled my services. Was told multiple times that the bill was sent in error and my account was closed and at a $0 balance. Kept getting emails saying I owed money. Called back in and was told the same thing. Ignore the bills, your account is at $0. Got an email from a collections agency and called back and was told that I did have an outstanding balance and shouldn't have been told I had a $0 balance. Paid and asked for proof they would contact the collections agency to request deletion and they refused. Just horrible. read more

I thought it would be easier to go in to trade in my phone and get a better one with their service in person but I was wrong for the staff were nothing but unhelpful. First the man in the back said he could not do that because I already had a service with them using my phone i had now. After just being completely lost by that statement because why would that matter(that's usually how trade ins work) he got frustrated with me for not just agreeing with him and tried to make me feel dumb saying things like "I don't understand what you want to do" when what I wanted was very simple. Worst business I've ever felt with. I don't have the time to explain everything I've been through over the last couple days but I'll get to the main points. I was promised a lower bill by 30$ a month. This call was a month ago and was told I'd get a 25$ credit for being a "valued customer". Wonder what that means.. I spoke to a person to change my service and save money. The cost is so outrageous for what you get. This deal apparently never went through which I was not informed there was a problem with the new price. Received another high bill and no credit or change. So I tried to call someone but all I could do was speak through the chat system. I dealt with the xfinity live agent chat and changed my service. There are only 5 channels I watch which I was very clear about those channels. I asked to have a service that would include those channels. The chat assistant changed my plan to save 25$. He also promised a 25$ credit for using the chat. This morning, my most important channel was NOT available! I couldn't believe it. So back to the chat system which I don't have any confidence in. I had to go back to my previous plan to get the one channel I really want. This agent only saved me about 10$. It was not worth all the time and frustration I've experienced with this business. I'm suppose to get the 25$ credit but I doubt this will happen. I will be trying to figure out another way to watch my TV and have internet. If you have any other choice, go with it. This business is sneaky, untrustworthy and of poor value. I also agree with one reviewer who mentioned there has been no Fox channel for over a month. That's part of my package and not available. It's the company I am reviewing. The store is limited what they can do by the company. I had Xfinity in Vancouver, WA and now Deer Park, WA. My service had even overlapped. Yet, since I moved according to their Xfinity Rewards I've only been a customer for a year instead of what should be more like 7. Also, just before my first year ended I called to renew. The girl I spoke to couldn't give me a very good deal. She told me to check back about the middle of the month because better deals were coming out at that time. I did. The "best" deal had gone up $23/month for less service than if I had signed up when I first called! Bait and switch and their appreciation of loyal customers is a bunch of hogwash! first time user of Xfinity. I recently moved to Spokane from a very rural area with one (1) provider (CenturyLink / *** 3 stars). So far, so good. One problem so far (telly only) - called in to 800 # and there was heavy call volume, recommended that I troubleshoot on the website. (Note: this is a favorite with these sites which only works when you can use the Internet (useless when the internet is the problem) or go online with your phone (nope, old school cheap cel for emergencies). - went online to Xfinity site, went to the Troubleshooting page, it took five minutes and I had my picture back on the telly. minus one star for bundling and two year packages, and the fact that ALL of these outfits seem to treat old customers like crap and new customers get the good deals. If you want a deal always come into the store. If you are at the end of your year of cheaper services and the price is about to go up just being in all your equipment and they will give you another great price to keep your service. On average I wait at least 45 minutes every time I come here just to be seen. The only stars here are two employees. One older woman who used to be a service tech. Nicest customer service rep I have ever met. There is also a rather tall and bald man with a short beard. Not the sharpest tool but will definitely try to get you a better deal on your desired services. Sadly you cannot make appointments and there is a customer sign in when you show up. Though there will be a Wal Mart type greeter at the door to sign you in because you can't possibly be smart enough to sign yourself in on the iPad installed at the door with instruction prompts. read more

Brian sold us on the brand new iPhone 11 pro max which is a lovely phone yes, but we were requesting to keep the same number and transfer it from another xfinity account to the new account we just opened with them. He said it would be a simple matter of submitting a request and in 2 days it should be good to go. Well, 2 days later, everything is a big cluster f$#%. We tried to call Brian as he gave us his business card and now we are instead talking to customer service for what has been over an hour. They had no request in their system and we now have a tier 3 ticket in the works to eventually get this sorted out. Sometimes having to deal with your cable company is worse than going to the dentist and getting your wisdom teeth pulled especially if you call their 1800 help number. The service over the phone is horrible which is why whenever I have a problem with my billing or internet/cable service, I always stop by the store first before even attempting to call them for help. First, usually there's no wait. You walk up to the check in desk, give them some information about you and why you're there and a few minutes later you are ready to see the next available representative. I love dealing with a real person one on one who also lives here and is a part of the community. They have always been professional and courteous to me and they have always made me and my business with them feel valued. Not only that, they will even take the time to look through my billing and if it's possible, they always try to save me a little money. And trust me!! Every little bit helps and I really appreciate it. Being basically the only choice for unlimited fast internet, I have always disliked dealing with them, but ever since they opened this help center location I actually don't mind stopping by and asking about my service. It's nice sometimes to feel appreciated especially when you spend so much money with a business every month and so far I haven't been disappointed with the service I get from here. I have been a customer of Xfinity/Comcast since the 1980s. Here is my beef and I have talked to the Mexican customer service reps and have not received any help. 1. I put my service on vacation hold for 180 days starting on 9.27.18. I did not make it back to Spokane by 3.27.19. Xfinity automatically started my service and I was charge $88 from 03.27 to my billing date in April. I called and talked to them and one rep told me if I had called in 24 hours before the vacation hold expired I could have extended the hold until I returned to Spokane and started using the service. I called again and was told by another rep that the previous rep had misspoke and I could not have extended the hold. 2. My current contract was going to expire on May 18, 2019. I chatted and also called a rep and asked about changing my plan. Now neither one of the reps told me that if I changed the plan, the new plan would start a new two year contract. Plus, they never mentioned an early termination fee. I was not charged with an early termination fee but was hit with a new two year contract. 3. I have talked to various reps about the new 2 year contract. I have told them that I had called and asked about changing my plan and the reps never mentioned that I would be hit with a new two year contract. It does not seem to matter to them that their reps do not know what they are talking about or allow you to make changes without warning you of the dire consequences of another two year contract with Xfinity. 4. I was told a supervisor would call me and talk about my issue. The dates I was told a supervisor would call was on 4.16.19 and on 5.27.19. To date no call from a supervisor. 5. On the surveys I rated them at 1 on everything. Be careful Xfinity has your credit card number or bank account number and you at stuck and no customer service. read more

Really terrible billing experiences. I go to the store once a month to pay the bill so that I have a paper trail. One month, I paid online and when I clicked the "print receipt" button, their site crashed instead of printing and I couldn't get it back. The payment cleared my bank, but ever since, Comcast employees in the store swear up and down that I owe the payment for that month. I went to my bank to be sure my online payment had cleared my account, I told the teller I had a problem with an online payment and asked her, "Which company do you think is giving me the problem?" She didn't hesitate. "Comcast? We have a lot of problems with them." I'm buying a laptop so I can do my computing at nearby coffeeshop where you're welcome to use their internet service. Needless to say we went to this store in a ticked off mood. That all changed once we started working with Chris Lytle. He not only helped exchange our equipment out for what we needed but he helped us get our monthly fees down by reworking our account. His customer service was great and he really took the time to listen to our concerns and what we wanted from our account. We had went in with the thought of maybe we should switch providers but with how Chris took care of us and really showed that the customer mattered made us want to stay with Xfinity. Tried Comcast's texting system at home to troubleshoot issues with my cable box. Took about 15 minutes to figure out that we needed a new box (which we had already had assumed, but you have to go to through the steps). We were told to go to a nearby store and get a replacement box at no cost. We arrived at the store around 12:30p on a Sunday and we were first in line. Annabelle assisted us and answered all of our questions. She was honest and transparent about costs and different options. We got everything resolved in less than 10 minutes. She was very helpful, and we really appreciate the customer service. The store was also very clean and organized. read more
