I'm giving AT&t anything 1 star. Simple. If you want to see how easy it can be to do business with…read morea phone company who absolutely appreciates its customers. Try T-MOBILE. Love, Love, Love this company. Forever, I thought AT&T probably hung the moon. I was even afraid to switch because I'd been with them for somewhere close on Cellular to 40 years. Try to stop something you don't want through AT&T. You literally have to go into the store to stop something. Go to T Mobile. See what you can get thru the. I really enjoy my Netflix, Hulu. TUBI AND Pluto. All free on your phone, and you can hook it up to your home TV. Best switch and only switch I've ever done for cell phone. I would not go back to my illusion of the Granbury of the other cell phone company. I know this was supposed to be internet service but if it has AT&T on it attached in anyway or buying out an existing company. I'm out. I can't stand this company. Be aware if you go with these people. Make sure the letter they send you either says do what you want with their equipment or they tell you to return it. I stop using them once. Got an email tell me to bring in my used equipment. About a week later I got another email tell me to just keep it. They didn't want it back. Then they sent me another email several weeks later telling me they were going to sue me because I hadn't returned their equipment. I called them and told them let's dance. I've got all my documentation of what you told me to do two different times. In fact I still have their equipment just I'm case. You do business with them if you desire but look at their rating.

Airosurf Communications

We had Airosurf for nearly 10 years, in Arcadia, Oklahoma…read more For the most part, their internet service worked. It was slow and not super reliable, but we lived in the country and Airosurf was our only "non satellite" option. But then we started having real problems. Every day at 6 pm (on the dot, like clockwork), our internet speed crashed to almost nothing. We could not even watch streaming service on one television -- everything else was unplugged. It's like someone flipped a switch at 6 pm every day and turned off our internet. So we called to ask for assistance. What followed was 2 months of extreme frustration with respect to Airosurf's poor customer service -- and 2 months of no internet or television after 6 pm. The front office lady was nice, but couldn't really help us. She would send us to the tech people who actually seemed to be angry -- Airosurf techs would say everything looked fine on their end, and it must be something in my house that caused the problem. They literally said it wasn't their problem and I was the cause, and I needed to fix the problem myself! Holding an electrical engineering degree myself, I troubleshot the problem, looking for any transmissions violating the FCC that could interfere with my wireless internet. I added chokes to everything. I unplugged everything. I went as far as unplugging my home alarm system to verify nothing in my house was causing the problem -- Airosurf continued to be angry, unhelpful, and dismissive. They just didn't care. After about 2 months of my internet shutting down at 6 pm (not coming back until sometime around 2 am), they sent a tech out to my house and said they moved my connection to a different tower. It seems Airosurf was in the process of upgrading their system and they had too many customers on a single tower. When everyone came home from work and turned on their TV at 6 pm, it overloaded the system and nobody got internet services. After that, our internet service was somewhat "normal", though it continued to be slow and not super reliable. A few months later, we started seeing other short internet outages that always happened at the same time every day. These outages were only 10 minutes or so long, so we just accepted it and didn't ask for any more "dismissive help" from Airosurf. Airosurf likes to tell people they are a small family owned company, and therefore customers should give Airosurf a break and accept their poor quality service. I firmly believe the problem with Airosurf is the NEPOTISM -- I think the entire company is made up of family members who got their job because they are family (not because they hold an engineering degree or have any idea what they are actually doing). Since they are family, they have no fear of losing their job, so they just do not care. This is a real problem! When we were offered much faster, much more reliable, fiber optic internet service for LESS MONEY than Airosurf, we jumped at the opportunity. When we called Airosurf to cancel, they didn't even ask why. They said they would later make a decision about picking up their equipment (modem and antenna on my roof), but they never called back or came to pick up their equipment. Just bizarre people at a bizarre company. I do not recommend Airosurf.
