Terrible customer service, every call that I made was a waste of time. the technicians didn't know the router that I should get, all the time they told me that they call me back and never did it read more

Monica was defiantly a big help and resolved all the problems I was having with my Wifi. She gave me a better understanding of the service I had and upgraded me to something better. Very Knowledgable! read more

very bad company and real slow internet service. Customer service very bad too. They charge for me 10 mbps, but speed showing in the test 1mbps. VERY BAD COMPANY. read more

The worst internet service I have ever had. I am even inclined to say that the review which gives it 4 or 5 stars is bs. Every complaint on here from the other 10 are basically my same complaints. I have called numerous times to complain about the internet falling off, have even had a tech come out and change the filters. Absolutely nothing has changed. The internet falls off all the time. I have asked twice over the phone to file a complaint and basically was told that they were the only people in the office. STEER CLEAR OF ANY CONDO WHO HAS A MONOPOLY WITH DIRECT PLUS. THEY SUCK!!! I can not stress this enough.I filed a complaint with better business and they are not even licensed with them. read more

Just don't do it. Not even worth the one star. This company has horrendous service. At least once a month I experience outages. There is no remote technical support, everything requires a technician to come onsite (conveniently during the hours you're never home). They monopolize service in certain buildings/area so you're left with no choice but to use them. Definitely looking for a way out. read more

Terrible customer service. We live in the Terrazas complex, which is entirely serviced by Direct Plus and have been completely without internet for the whole morning. When I called to ask for a position, after all we work from home and are fully dependent on a working internet connection, the apathic Customer Service attendant simply stated "I have absolutely no idea of the ETA. Could be couple of hours, the whole day or maybe the whole week." WTF? This is supposed to be Customer Service? And alas, we still have no connection. read more

The worst possible service one could ever have, these people are a piece of sh**, excuse my language but there is no other way to put it. They simply solicit communities and put them on a contract so that the residents aren't able to choose another service and with that being said, they can get away with the crappiest service knowing residents have no other choice. It is plain ridiculous!! The customer service is a joke! I've called 9 times only to get hung up on, I have to restart my modem every day. I pay for 20 mags but instead get a measly 6!!!! Honestly, if this continues I'm going to report them to the BBB. read more

Man I thought it couldn't get any worst than Comcast this POS company takes the cake there was billing issue with our account and they immediately put a hold that could only be fix on regular business hours when everyone is working but when there was an issue with the speed they took their sweet time I will be sending a letter to the better business Bureau and Florida department with a formal complaint read more

These people don't know their left foot from their right foot. My bill should always be the same and then they go and decide to up the speed. WHO THE HELL told them to do that!. If it wasn't because my apartment building is pre-wired for them I would never deal with them. HORRIBLE company that really needs to get their accounting department straightened out. I am so sick of dealing with them I'm even willing to cancel my internet just to never, ever, ever have to deal with those people. read more

If you're considering an apartment building and find out that Direct Plus is the sole internet provider, just run away and don't look back. If you're asking yourself how bad could an internet provider be - well, maddeningly, wanting-to-rip-your-hair-out, bad. Incredibly slow speeds when it works (11Mbit/s tops, when I'm paying for 20Mbit) - all of that for a price that would get you at least twice the speed at Uverse or Comcast. That's when it works - because get ready for outages a few times a day. This company will make you wish you'd still be with Comcast, it's that bad. read more

I have Direct Plus through my home association, and I swear they are the worst TV provider out there. They don't care anything about their customers and they give it to you as it is!!!! They have the worst customer service reps. The reps do not have any type of sympathy for their customers and they are not willing to work anything out with you... They have always placed the blame on Direct Tv, saying, "Oh with Direct Tv contract we cant override anything and its up to Direct Tv"... I just order a standard box for one of my rooms on yesterday afternoon and they charged me $140. When we hooked the Standard box up and seen it didnt work with my Smart TV., I called them back the very next morning to report it. I advised them I received the wrong box. The rep said Direct TV (as always) will charge me $86 just to get a HD box. I was extremely pissed because I wasted my hard earn money and you guys cant switch my box out for free. Theses people are con artists and clearly they forgot whose giving them their salary. Me as a customer doesn't feel appreciated nor valued as a their customer. Direct Tv need to cancel their contract with this ridiculous company ASAP!!!! read more

Horrible customer service. Extremely slow internet speeds. Connection drops all the time. High priced internet for low speed connections. U-verse offers speeds that Direct Plus does not offer, yet you pay for the same price of speed that AT&T u-verse is offering. Complete scam artists. Complete rip-off. Steer clear from this company. read more

wow! This is one extremely shitty company. I'm bound to use them because my apartment building has no other internet provider. The internet goes off often and when you call them to complain they first tell you that there is nothing wrong on their side. You call them again then they tell you that the internet is down and they have "NO ANSWER: when you ask them when its going to be back you. They don't even send a technician to fix it. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! read more

Melinda Rodriguez has delivered outstanding service. She was efficient, effective and focused in Customer Satisfaction. Thanks to her I am still a customer of this provider! I wish everyone in Customer Service would deliver the quality of service and customer focus as she has! read more

I'd utilized DirectPlus for a year at my Miami condo. The service was usually too slow to utilize multiple tabs while surfing or watch any streaming media of decent quality. My main complaint is the lack of customer service. Trying to contact anyone is extremely difficult. I moved out of my condo almost a month ago and I'm still being billed for internet service. The thing is, I've tried several attempts to end the service - no one has called me back and I'm still not getting an answered phone call. read more

Melinda was amazing! She explained and helped a clueless client (me). Very patient. Stayed on the phone until every device was working.

I just moved to 1060 brickell, Direct plus is the provider. I have to say they made things easy for my move when it came to DirectTV and internet. Thank you for your great customer service! read more

THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL SCAM AND HEADACHE!!! STAY AWAY!!! I go to school online and my husband works from home and it has been an utter nightmare dealing with this provider. Our internet is below 9mbps all day long and for over 2 months and we are paying for 40 mbps. I literally cannot stream any video lectures or get anything done in the luxury downtown apt that we pay a ton for! The slade in Tampa is such a decent building apart from this internet provider. Needless to say we wont be renewing our lease here. When you call customer service everyone is rude and gives you stupid excuses after excuses, they send out techs that basically do the same thing you already did at home by checking the speed, the management says they will call back and never do, they make you wait on hold forever and hang up. Its an absolute shit show. My husband cannot work from home anymore and has to stay at the office late. I have to run to a library and im 4 months pregnant! Its crazy how much this has affected our lives. I wish i could give them a middle finger, a piece of shit and zero stars! The only thing they know how to do is bill you for services you are not getting. DIRECT PLUS IS BY FAR THE WORST INTERNET PROVIDER IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. STAY AWAY FROM PLACES THAT FORCE YOU TO USE THEM!!! read more

This is probably the most horrible internet service I have ever had. I work from home and relay on fast internet to work. My internet goes down AT LEAST 5 times a day. They have had many "outages" in the past few months. Not to mention the internet is EXTREMELY slow. I live in an appt complex and this was all they offered and I had no choice otherwise I would have NEVER chose to use this internet provider. Not worth a penny of my money. read more

I got involved with this company because our condo association in Tampa had a contract with this service provider. Very unprofessional. Horrible service. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I am happy this page exists to be able to give a 1 star rating to this company. This company is a complete piece of trash. The internet is extremely slow and customer service is just the worst I have ever seen. I have been trying to cancel my service but no one seems to be able to help me. read more

You may be much better off to go with other satellite or cable companies. These guys are liars. Had an appointment to install the service but no one show up or called me. Called their customer service numerous times and sometimes they told me a technician will come in 15-20 minutes, other times they told me that the tech will call me in 15-20 minutes. Every time it turned out to be a lie. Every time I called they assured me that the installation request is still open and the job will be done today. It is almost midnight now and they are still telling me the same story. Liars. Beware of this company. Do not fall into their trap. read more
