I want to counter these negative reviews. I am a Chef Instructor and I was specifically sent to Diprima's by my foot doctor because I had developed issues with a toe due to being on my feet on hard floors all day. The staff at Diprima's was attentive, personable, and answered all of my questions regarding the specific brands that my doctor told me I needed to be wearing. They weren't a bunch of flunkies who didn't know shoes. Yes, they are expensive and they sell expensive brands. If you want cheap shoes, go elsewhere. If you want people who can attend to your specific needs, I suggest you go here. They do have policies that you need to pay attention to, and this requires being an adult and reading signs and asking questions. Good quality shoes are expensive. I know, what a concept! Knowledgeable salespeople in a shoe store, what a concept! If you work in a job where you are on your feet all day, every day, you are going to spent hundreds and hundreds (and thousands!) of dollars on your shoes in a short period of time. There is no way around it. I have found incredible deals at Diprima's on their clearance rack - now that I have narrowed down the few brands that I now need to wear to best fit my ailing feet and toes. They are NOT returnable for ANY reason. I get it. I walk around the store and make darned sure I want to spend $50 or $60 for clearance shoes I can't return. That's the chance I take when I don't want to spend $130 on a pair of shoes. Only once have I made a mistake and the fault is mine. Not theirs. As far as blisters on feet? Dude, if the shoes are too snug from day one, they aren't the right fit. Dudette, $500 for shoes? I've dropped more in this store at one time. What's your point? I'm thinking you might have been the one with the attitude. Stop slamming these people. Diprima's is one of THE few places around any more where you can actually have an intelligent conversation about a shoe and get a reasoned response. There's a reason these folks have been in business this long. Too bad more people don't take the time to offer positive reviews to counter the two that have had one bad experience. Keep doing what you're doing Diprima's. I value you and hope you continue to provide Cartersville and the surrounding areas with quality shoes. Thank you. read more
