I can remember Nates name and there was a young lady with a beautiful name that started with an A, that I can't remember. They made my shopping experience five star. At the register, I was a bit of a pain trying to figure out the sale amounts and ALL of the staff, to include the manager on duty were more than patient, helpful and kind. The buy one get one 50% off sale made me able to get six pairs of really nice footwear for what I would normally pay for one pair. It was a lovely experience and not for nothing, some footwear brands actually still make shoes in real quality leather. I'm old school. Pleather is cute and environmentally conscious but it does hold up. At any rate - happy shopping experience indeed and much needed.

The best night to go is on Thursdays when they have wine tasting. It is a great place to network on that night. We love the lobster bisque, the warm rolls they bring with the caviar spread, and the Ajax Sampler (steamed seafood). Shopping at the Avenue is great as well. Their clothing fits every aspect of my family's lifestyle: for me, my husband, and two children. There a one stop shop and now closer to where I live! Having said all that - I'm a simple girl with simple tastes. And I needed some new shoes. My 'go to' shoes are black flats - specifically Mary Jane style black flats. In the past 20 years - I've probably owned at least 18 pairs. My current pair had been looking pretty crappy for quite some time - and were clearly on their last legs - but yesterday - while at my contract gig - the left one started making embarrassing little 'farting' noises with every step I took. Insert blush. So now that time was of the essence - I went online and selected several pairs of shoes only to discover they didn't have them in size I needed. So I chose any size available - just to generate a 'shopping cart' - then I printed said 'shopping cart' and hot-footed it over to the Famous Footwear Dallas Hwy location. It's spring break for a lot of the kids - so the place was pretty crowded. There was one young lady, Tiffany, working both the floor and the cash register. Tiffany took one look at my printed list and positively beamed at me. After that she was a site to behold - she was running around trying to find all 6 pairs of shoes on my list, while taking care of 6 different customers - yes 6 - I was there for a while and had nothing better to do but keep track. Three of the shoes I wanted were not in stock and she actually took the initiative to bring over 3 different comparable shoes for me to inspect. I know I'm gushing - but this was just such a stellar example of customer service! Not sure why she was the only person working - but she handled the situation like a true champ. She was cute, charming, funny, energetic, patient, determined - and a whole host of other adjectives I'm too tired to type. Not sure if you'll ever see this review - but if so - keep up the good work, Tiffany! You're awesome!

Ron took his time with helping my stepson and me find the right shoes for our feet. The store has a wonderful variety of women's and men's shoes, particularly for those of us with challenging feet. Ron is an experienced, knowledgeable and patient Pedorthist. He can quickly assess your feet and the specific shoes that will fit comfortably, and educate you accordingly. We left the store shortly after closing time with our comfortable, good-looking new shoes. From now on, Foot Solutions in Acworth is my designated new shoe store.
