If you are hungry and need a decent meal for a terrific price, this is your place. We got take out since there is no dine in during COVID. The hamburger was surprisingly good for a place that's known for donuts. It had onions, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The meat to bun ratio was a little short, but the bun was not one of those buns that's huge and puffy and overwhelms the meat. The French fries could have used a little more salt but they were actually good too. It came with a drink for $5.99. We also got a breakfast. It was 2 eggs, toast, a hash brown (sort of like McDonalds hash brown patty) and 3 sausage links. A very standard breakfast but it also came with a donut of choice for $5.99. Overall I was surprisingly pleased. We will come back again when looking for a good meal on a budget.be sure time bring cash as they do not take plastic. read more

This little shop of food was great. My husband and I got a half dozen donuts which were excellently fluffy and delicious. For lunch we got the #4 the hamburger meal and it tasted like it was homemade but better and we got them to go so the ladies added a good amount of ketchup in the pocket of the container awesome! I see they have a ton of specials for 5.99. Which is awesome. I asked if I could get a breakfast sandwich with a croissant and she said yeah it's a 1.50 more, I said okay no problem so they're normal breakfast special with egg cheese in Turkey is 5.99 so basically $6 so if I wanted to add a croissant with it it should be 7.50 well she told me my total was $10.00 !!!!!! For a croissant cheese and egg turkey sandwich what a f****** rip off!!! Just a croissant! No coffee no donut nothing else with it!!! On top of that they were so rude!!! I wanted to talk to them and ask them why it was so much for 1 breakfast sandwich but they kept avoiding me!!! Subway is 4.89 for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Starbucks is 8.50 for a sandwich and a coffee. Oh and its cash only!!! Clearly they must be hurting if they are ripping people off and charging 10.00 dollars for just eggs bread chz and Turkey!!! There is only one problem with this place: they close early. The first time I tried Dippity Donuts was for breakfast. I got a few donuts and some coffee, which was confusingly mislabeled "Chocolate Macadomia". I thought it was some special type of coffee, turns out it was just a typo for macadamia. Regardless, it was AWESOME. The donuts weren't too shabby either, and they had a blueberry cake donut that I was currently into, so it was all good there. After that I've gotten their $3.99 burger special which is surprisingly delicious. The first time my roommate and I went he said he didn't think it would be good by the photo, to which I told him that was a poor way to decide whether or not something was good. Turns out he was completely wrong since it's now our quick burger fix on the weekends for lunch. The burger is tasty, the fries are of the steak variety, (meaty and delicious), and they actually serve Cherry Coke! Plus, if you go later in the afternoon as they are closer to closing, they give you free donuts. This place is definitely a win-win. read more

The Prices is super cheap, TWO people can get a clean, tastey meal for less than $9... that includes a Burger Fries and a drink. I wish they would stay OPEN after 3PM but what can you do. Unlike Most FAST-FOOD places I go to, Dippity Donuts has real tasting Soda UNLIKE Carls JR that waters down their drinks to gas-water. The cherry coke and the coke taste like the old school out of glass bottle taste... If you live in California i suggest you make this place apart of your Bucket-list. I went in yesterday on my way to work to grab a cinnamon roll. Once I got to work, I took a bite and saw (what I thought was) a gooey piece of cinnamon stringing from my bite to the piece in my hand.. I pulled my hand away to break the strand when I came to realize it wasn't breaking and was hard... My donut had a RUBBER BAND FULLY BAKED into it!!! I was so disgusted and dumbfounded, I've never seen anything like it!! I went back today to speak to the manager/owner & neither were there so I asked for a number I could reach them at.. All they did was give me the number to the store itself.. Not helpful at all. So yeah, not coming to this place again.. Being a thirteen year old kid, with no where to go on those late start mornings before school can be trouble. Luckily, Dippity Donuts was there to give my friends and I, a place to call 'Our Spot" . It became a ritual to walk to 'Donuts' every Tuesday morning and then walk to school. I became so obsessed with the bacon- egg sandwich that I ordered it every time I went. The service was amazing that after when I would walk up to the counter, I would be asked, " Bacon egg sandwich on white?". And, it felt so cool and personal that someone would remember my order . Great donuts and awesome coffee but WHAT IS UP WITH THE HOURS? I try to get a doughnut and coffee every morning but they change their start time from day to day. They mess up the start to my day when I plan on that morning delight and they don't deliver. I enjoy patronizing the mom and pop type businesses but they gotta keep some consistency. I only come here when I'm desperate for a donut and coffee. The coffee is rancid and nasty but can be improved with a healthy dose of cream or milk. Seriously, the coffee sucks. It tastes like its been burned, or was brewed with recycled water. The donuts are average. The selection is average. Overall, its just an average place. The temperature in this place is usually hot and humid, just like being in the jungles, so don't count on staying long or you'll be all sweaty.
