There were a few cars in the lot and not a ton of people on a Friday early afternoon. They had a lot of plants and produce around, and a huge area with pumpkins that they have priced by the pound. I quickly found a pumpkin the idea size for me, and a woman working there quickly rung me up (all cash only here!). I let her know I'd also be grabbing ice cream so we both walked to the ice cream area and I grabbed a salted caramel in a cone, about $6. There were some interesting flavors I wasn't sure of, and she happily explained. There's numerous benches around so I finished up around there, and then went and said hi to some of the farm animals milling about. Cute vibes, good ice cream! I believe they close the ice cream shop for the season at the end of October, so I'll try to be back before then!

However, with long lines for the oysters, having dessert first was not a hardship. Many of us agreed it was a great decision. Their spectacular flavors are delicious and the service is great. I was adventurous today and instead of my usual chocolate fudge, I branched out this time to the Almond Joy. Both flavors are equally fabulous and next time I will have to get a scoop of each. Just water to one side, coastal highway, and then Riva. The bartending staff is definitely skilled. They're fast, friendly... and make a drink that has kick but you don't get the alcoholic burn. My one gripe is the beer prices. $9 for a can of Miller Lite is very steep. I get there's overhead, staff wages, taxes, all of that, but a high price for a cheaper beer is a deterrent. When the cocktails are $4 more but you get a decent amount for the drink, that's totally fair. Craft beers at $9 is understandable. But cheap domestics at that level? It's not the best decision there. But other than the drink prices, it's clean, great staff, very good food, and an experience that made me go "I'll come back when it's summertime for sure"
