No one really knows who CW is anyways, but here goes. I have been working with The laser Cutting Shop and the owner Haryn on and off for well over a decade now. It's hard to describe all the projects we have done with them, but I will try to talk in more generalities about a trusted local vendor for us. We have prototyped numerous new product concepts with her shop that needed laser cutting, laser etching and laser marking on all types of materials. Her creativity in solving problems to get what our team needs for prototypes has always made the entire process easier and many times have helped us drive to better solutions based on those prototypes. Every prototyping job we have done with Haryn has been different or had its own unique challenges, but they have always come through. Many times we have pushed the boundaries of what can be prototyped and always been happy with the results. Timelines of course vary with each and every job, but we have never felt like we have been not getting top service with the very fastest possible turnarounds based on our requests. It's difficult to sum up years of working together, but I really can't imagine going anywhere else for this type of work.

I have an old forced air heater and the knob for the control valve was…read morebroken, so the heater was useless without the ability to be able to control the "Off/Pilot/On" valve. I've been searching the internet off and on for a year trying to find a company that sells the knob, no luck. The heater is too old, nobody stocks the parts. Finally decided to search for someone who could maybe make the knob with their 3D Printer. Chris was the first person I contacted from Yelp. After a few text messages and phone calls, I decided to take the knob to him so he would know what I needed since I have no idea how to design or produce an .stl file. Chris' service was amazing and the quality of his work is second to none. He told me at first that there is a 2 day lead time and when I dropped it off he had the job completed in 24 hours. I highly recommend SLA 3D Prints. After viewing his website and seeing some of his amazing work, my gas knob was a piece of cake for him to make, but for me the value in what he did for me is priceless. I have reached out to Chris on 2 separate occasions. On both attempts, I reached out via Yelp and was directed to email the project to his company address. The first time, I received no response, but I opted to give him the benefit of the doubt, given the order was more complex and I was admittedly disorganized. Subsequently, this year, almost a year to the date of my last inquiry, I submitted a second, very simple request, through the same process. Yet once again, no acknowledgment, no rejection, no follow-up, and nothing in spam. If a job is outside his scope or interest, he is fully within his right to choose his work/deny service, but I believe it's the bare minimum in professionalism and courtesy to at least inform the client of your decision, rather than ghosting them after they send you the files they potentially created themselves or paid for. Likewise, there is no reason to direct inquiries to a communication line if it is A) Not actively monitored/responded to. B) You could easily spend the minute to look at the link/file in yelp and reject it. Bottom line: I do not advise sending your files to this vendor. There is no reasonable expectation of response to inquiries or submitted materials, and I ultimately had the work completed elsewhere without issue.

I was told my backdrop couldn't be done in two days, I was told that my image's resolution was too small, and other printing shops never responded. Z from RedDot Printing responds within minutes. He told me the same thing about my backdrop's resolution being to low for a huge printout, but what set him apart was that he took the time send me an email on how fix it so that he can print it. Once I fixed the image with his advice he said, "I can get that done in two days." and he delivered! I placed the order midday on a Wednesday and it was ready for pickup by 2:00PM on Friday. Pick up was seamless. He knew exactly who I was without introducing myself, he was friendly, full of personality, and so sweet. He unrolled the backdrop to show me his work and it was PERFECT! His price was cheaper than I imagined especially since this was a last minute request.
