Was in town for a couple of days, this was one of the recommendations from the hotel of good places to eat. I have to say, it was delicious! The problem, if you want to call it that, is you get a lot of food! Not usually a problem but I was so full and couldn't finish the meal! Debbie, our server, was as friendly as can be. Would definitely recommend Dink's for food and service! read more

Dink's Pit Bar-B-Que - Barbeque Near Me - Bartlesville, Oklahoma

Excellent pulled pork! Service is friendly and prompt. It's a small restaurant so best to try and get there before the lunch and dinner rush. If you love BBQ, this is one place you must try! read more

I was very disappointed this visit. Baked beans were ok, baked potato cold, ribs dry as the bone, salad skimpy. Best part were the onion strings. Won't be back again. It used to be worth the 57 mile drive one way but after this second visit to make sure the other bad meal was a fluke we won't be back. read more

Its not bad..But its more for an aquired maybe more experienced pallet than mine..The chopped brisket was ok..The BBQ sauce eehh..Wasn't nasty..How can I describe it..Hhmm..Seemed like it was sweetened with granulated sugar instead of honey or more naturally sweetened..Lacked some spunk idk read more

Outstanding BBQ....the ribs were seasoned and smoked to absolute perfection. The brisket was tender as a mothers love wuth just the right amount of smokiness read more

Maybe the locals that have not ventured far from home find it great, but for myself and four others that travel America eating out a couple of times each day at different restaurants different cities, this place was not even alright. I honestly left my food and supposedly sweet sitting. I paid out, and got out. Dry. Coleslaw was the furthest thing from coleslaw. Sauces had so much vinegar, nasty. Locals swear by it, all I can say have at it. Don't have to worry about our gang dropping another penny there. The server, she was very nice and a beautiful smile and personality. Food, read more

I would love to give them more stars, but I just can't given all the great BBQ places I have dined. The waitress was very pleasant and professional. She kept me re-filled with frosty mugs of root beer and had no qualms about redeeming a Yelp check-in for a free 1/2 order of onion straws. I later read that it was for buying 2 entree's but she comped me without a word. The onion straw basket was ridiculously gigantic and addictive. Waitress you get 5 stars, sorry I didn't get your name. Brisket sandwich and potato salad... I'm trying to think of something better than ordinary... how about great sauce... yes, the sauce was served slightly warm and was a great sweet condiment for the onion straws and sandwich, which I piled onion straws on. I don't know if the potato salad was mass produced and shipped in or not, but it certainly could use some pizazz if you are making it in the kitchen. They were very busy on a Monday lunch, so the locals must not have a lot of options in this town, or they know the hidden jewels on the menu. read more

"When in Bartlesville!" How many times has people heard this? Not enough, apparently! Bartlesville is a curiosity of merit! Put it on your map! Why? Several reasons, all notable! This idiosyncratic wonder is an enjoyable one-hour drive north of Tulsa, OKLAHOMA, a city worthy of recommendations of its own! For many years TULSA was considered "The Oil Capital of the World!" That should say something! Built on the banks of the Arkansas River, it boasts a fusion of important Native American and imajor industrial interests! It's stylish airport is the first clue that Tulsa is not just another medium-sized American city! Especially when it has two 50-story buildings and a legacy of architectural interest! Much of it was built, for example, in the 1920's deco period! It has the Gilcrease Indian and Philbrook Museums! Do not take these cultural institutions too lightly! The Philbrook Museum is a cross reference back to Bartlesville, the former home of Phillips Petroleum! Not only was visionary and noted architect Bruce Geoff from Bartlesville, but Frank Lloyd Wright built one of only two significant high rises in Bartlesville, the 19-story Price Tower, which now serves as an art, architecture, and design museum. Seemingly in the middle of nowhere wiring countess miles of rolling landscape! How perfect, then, might it be to have a bib-stained BBQ stop called Dinks? I swear, some of the best BBQ I ever ate! I even order it over the phone as "Thank you!" For a dinner invitation or anything else! It's the perfect gift! And boy does a bottle of Dink's disappear fast when smuggled into a Tony Roma's or most any other house of BBQ! Watch as curiosity by others takes the bottle away and moves it around the room! That's Dink's! And it's based in Bartlesville! "Frank Frank Lloyd who?" read more

This place was pretty good BBQ. I had a combo plate and everything was well prepared. The food was good traditional BBQ. The sides were simple but we'll done. The ribs weren't overcooked, meaning fall off the bone, but they would fair well at competition. If you're in the area definitely go. read more

The best ribs! I always go to Dink's whenever I'm visiting Bartlesville. It is a definite must. read more

It was a Monday night, not too many cars in the parking lot but we waited to be seated for 25 minutes for a party of 6, which by the way were two children (5 and 6mos) and 4 adults. We waited another 10-15 minutes after being seated for a server. When our food arrived one of the sandwiches had a hair, when the waitress took it and came back to say it would be a few minutes for the new one to come, she justified it by saying it was a string from the apron not an actual hair but they were making a new plate. The meat was warm at best, fries were cold. I've eaten at Dink's for years and it seems that it continues to decline. The meat and BBQ sauce is amazing but the service and the time it takes to get food is not worth the wait. read more

I really hate to give Dink's a bad review but "it is what it is." I've been eating at Dink's since the day it opened and bragged about it for decades. Came to B'ville for a visit last weekend and HAD to eat there. Unfortunately, the food has gone way downhill! I had a pulled pork sandwich that was dry and bland potato salad that looked like it had been sitting out in the heat. It had a greasy sheen on the top and I was afraid to eat it. My hubby had a brisket sandwich that he said was good and a rib that was dry. We had the fried pickle appetizer also. It was a HUGE portion and they were tasty. I hope we just came on a bad night but from the looks of the other reviews, it seems like the restaurant has become very inconsistent. Maybe when I come next time, it will be better. So sad to see such a good thing going down!! read more

Okay, so we were driving back to Tulsa from the tall grass prairie preserve via Bartlesville and wanted a place to eat. Came across this joint and after reading some of the reviews here on yelp wanted to give it a shot. Bad idea...this place was pretty worn down and although the smell of BBQ emanated throughout the restaurant this place was not good. I had the sliced brisket...it was pretty rubbery and not very good. Seemed like it was leftover from the last week. The onion strings were decent, but the cole slaw not so much. Too much celery salt and pretty watered down. On the bright side, the server was really nice and efficient. On the down side, the food tasted like ass and was pretty bad and really overpriced. I would stay clear of this place if you want good BBQ. Even rib crib is better and that's not saying a whole lot. read more

The first time I visited this place was about two years ago! The food and service was great! I decided to take my Mother and Son there to dinner about a month and a half ago! The service was not good, they were rude! We waited for the food, telling ourselves the food would be worth the wait! NO IT WAS NOT WORTH IT! The food was not good! Very disappointing! read more

The locals rave about this place. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why. The meat is dry & greasy, typical of Oklahoma-native cuisine. The sauces had good flavor and the smoking of the meat made it tolerable. I've had Dink's dining in and catered at a company function. It was not good either time. My children love barbecue and they don't like this place. We'll drive 30 minutes West to Bad Brad's BBQ in Pawhuska rather than eat at Dink's. read more

Top 3 BBQ I've ever had. I live in Texas (lived in both Dallas and Houston) and I must say this is an official go to spot in Bartlesville.

Dink's has serviceable and hearty portions of barbeque at low prices. The quality of the food is subpar. I had the sampler platter with sliced brisket, sausage, ribs and pulled pork. The pork was good, the rest not so much. For starters, everything was drowned in a not very memorable sauce. After that, the ribs and brisket were tough and not very flavorful. I had barbeque on previous trips west and this doesn't measure up to places that take the care and time to do it really well. This is a place you can get fed, but you won't have any transcendant barbeque experiences here. The platter came with some side dishes that were pretty good. I liked the vinegary cole slaw and the corn on the cob wasn't steamed to mush. The service was great and very friendly. No complaints there, but the food was just ok. read more

I bragged on this place and took my friends who had never been here. We drove from Tulsa. We were so disappointed. We stood 10 min waiting because the waitress wanted to seat us at a table that was in the front. We heard the waitresses discussing who would serve us. One came and told us they were waiting for a group to finish before we could be seated. I walked through to use the bathroom and every booth was empty. We were finally seated after 12 min. Then, we ordered appetizers. We loved the onion straws and fried pickles. When our food came all of the meat was cold and my daughters fries were cold as well. No one asked how our food tasted. I ordered the sliced beef sandwich and 2 sides. The beef was fatty. My friends ordered ribs sausage pulled pork and sliced beef. The ribs were so dry they were like beef jerky. They hardly ate any of their food. Their comment was the bread and pickle was the best part. I was so embarrassed. The purple haired waitress brought us new fries but never asked about any of our food. There was no manager in sight. I will never eat there again. It was a horrible experience from the bad service to the cold, petrified ribs to the greasy fatty sliced beef. And now, we feel sick to our stomachs. read more

I'm kinda torn on Dink's. There was good: like the service, the BBQ sauce, the frosty mug for beer, the BBQ beans (yes they are sweet) the atmosphere is good for a greasy dive. Maybe the pork is or sausage is good - I didn't try everything. There was not so good also: Ribs on the 2 meat plate were pretty bad, fatty, membrane, and pretty greasy. The brisket wasn't anything to get excited about, BBQ 1/2 chicken was just too smoky for me. The sides: we only liked 3 out 4, BBQ beans got the nod from me. Potato salad was not even cold and lacked flavor, coleslaw just don't, pinto beans not so much - they weren't bad just not my thing. Try it though, maybe you'd like it. It's all about how you like your grub! read more

Thanks Yelp for this great find. We took the little ones to the Bartlesville Kiddie Park a couple of weeks ago and I decided to find a place to eat using only Yelp. Dink's was busy and loud, and I liked it. I ordered the Hot Pig sandwich with curly fries - 'twas good! We also got a full order of Onion Strings. We should have listened to Jim M. and got the half order. A full order is about 5lbs of onions and was just too much. Also, the food comes out so fast that the appetizer came out a full minute before the food. The kids meals were huge. For about $3 our child got as much food as the $7 brisket sandwich. Great value. I recommend this place to anyone, great for kids. read more

I am new to Yelp but have become a huge fan since I have been dating my significant other Blanca_O who is an Elite Yelper. Since I am on the road for business I thought that I would try my hand at Yelp and find a great local restaurant for myself. I was not disappointed with what I found. Dink's BBQ is a local favorite and considering the food and service I can see why. Since I had not eaten since breakfast I was really hungry. Cassi made several recommendations and since everything sounded great and I couldn't decide I went with the sampler platter. I got the pulled pork, sliced brisket, hot sausage and ribs. The brisket was a bit dry but the pork, sausage and ribs more than made up for it. The portions were more than satisfactory( I have enough to make a sandwich for lunch tomorrow) and the price was quite reasonable. read more

What's not to like about Dink's. Locally owned, lots of local personality, world-class BBQ, Root Beer in frosty glass mugs. You've got to get a half order of onion strings for the table (serves up to 4). They're decadent, but totally worth it with some moderation. In Oklahoma, BBQ means pork, but being a native Texan, to me BBQ is beef. Fortunately both are excellent at Dink's. * this star rating is relative to the Bvl area read more

No too bad. Nothing to blow you away but ok grub. Clean restrooms - I took a nice relaxing dump here after downing a pull pork samich.

Good Turkey Great Bar-B-Que Sauce loves every moment of it would definitely go again and enjoy the amazing turkey

We shared a 1/2 order of onion strings and a loin back rib dinner. Miserably full, but satisfied with the food, we left with a good impression of Dink's. I have a soft spot for management that gives a damn, and Darren visited our table to check on things and make small talk. As for the food, the ribs tasted like they were cooked low and slow; tender but with just the right amount of chew. The sauce is sweeeeet. Those onion strings were salty and superabundant. The potato salad was passable, but only colonically speaking. read more

I came here with a large group for lunch. The food was okay, not awesome, but okay. I had a chopped brisket sandwich with curly fries, and it was filling. There were A LOT of very large pieces of fat in my brisket, which I'm not used to. I live in Oklahoma City, and usually when I go to a BBQ joint this isn't an issue. So that threw me off a little. The curly fries were good, and I loved their house ranch. Delicious for dipping! Our service was pretty good considering there were 24 of us. I don't think I would go back, but it wasn't bad. read more

Some friends recommended a visit while i was visiting from out of state (AZ). I enjoyed everything about my meal, the food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and the prices were way lower than what I'm used to paying at other BBQ places. They have a check in offer that makes the meal even more of a bargain. I got a sampler plate and was so glad I did, everything was tasty and I hope I can make it back again some day. Thanks! read more

Appetizer of Onion Strings not to be missed. Ordered 2 Meat Dinner choosing sliced bologna and sliced pork. Pork ok, a little tough considering size of a slice but knives are part of place setting. I liked the bologna. Baked beans was very good side as was the potato salad. Spouse ordered chicken strips with okra and potato salad. Strips were large and tender. The server did a fine job. One employee even held the door open when we entered the restaurant. Not my personal favorite BBQ in the nation, it is a long drive to Austin, TX and Kansas City, Dink's is very, very, very good. . read more

Totally agree with Beau and Jim. Have loved this place since it opened in '82. Unfortunately I only get the real thing about once a year when I'm in town, but I always buy 2-3 bottles of sauce to last me while I'm gone. I love this place! Anytime I come to Oklahoma I make sure to stop by for a meal and to stock up on BBQ sauce. The dining area was clean, but I didn't like decor. I think it's probably more that I'm not the target demographic. I ordered the beef brisket and onion rings. The beef wasn't as flavorful as I expected, and the barbeque sauce did not taste good to me. The onion rings, however, were delicious: I ate far too many of them. I expected awesome beef, especially with the barbeque pit out back, but this was a disappointing meal. read more
