My server Katie (Czech) was fantastic, the very best part of the experience here, constantly came by to top off my drink, to see if all was ok, friendly, sweet, smiling. The ambiance is certainly nice and with ample room to park the roller carry-on next to the table, it was a comfortable place to await my flight. Good lighting, comfortable temps, it was a welcome place to dine. But the food: it was ok. I enjoyed my tiger prawns on the skewer tho these are smaller than Pacific tiger prawns. Biggest disappointment? The fish and chips. It was a large piece of fish but after hvg had several fantastic servings across Scotland, I just assumed that it is always this good. My bad. If you arrive at the airport in the recommended two to three hours before your flight, you're going to have some time on your hands. I discovered two things: eating options are not plentiful in Terminal 4 and you won't be told from what gate your flight is leaving until 30 minutes before takeoff. Where do you hang out while you wait? One option is Dining Street restaurant, located in the terminal after going through security, or airside as they call it. It's a British themed casual concept with burgers, fish and chips, bangers and mash and the like. Service can be slow and at their own pace, so don't expect to sneak in for a quick bite. But once you order the food is decent. I had a cheeseburger with fries and soda, and the fish and chips looked large and delicious. Prices are pretty normal by airport standards, i.e. high. My Cheeseburger with fries and a large diet Coke was almost GBP16. That included GBP 3.5 for the soft drink. Egad! Yes, that's highway robbery, but so is most airport food. This is a good option for single travelers or families. It's also centrally located so you won't go to one end of the terminal only to discover your gate is at the opposite end. Dining Street serves decent food but make sure you plan enough time. read more

After security, a very big area for dining and drinking. Very efficient and fast service, so even if you do not have too much time available before boarding you can grab a drink and also eat. I got the burger which was good, not a very huge patty inside but the meat was good, well done with the right amount of cheese and vegetables inside. All the condiments you need are already on the table. It came with thick fries, which were okish. Beer was good, fresh :) It is not cheap, like any Airport eating area... but it is worth the price. read more

Shit pints. Expensive. Expensive food. Right up there with the creme de la creme of Terminal 4. Loud, terribly loud horrible music. Gangnam style was the least offensive thing they played. I had to tell the poor staff how to pour a pint which they charged me a fiver for and which was at best mediocre. Probably best avoided. But it's there, so just don't expect much. read more

DON'T EAT HERE. Service was fast and friendly and it would get a higher rating but for the deception. Food was decent and the basic breakfast is inline with airport prices. It is not until you get the bill that the little bits they ask about add significantly to the bill. They make it sound like part of the breakfast. They know that people are tired after the long trip to the airport and the long lines through security and that it will be easy to gouge them. Nothing annoys me more than deception at a restaurant. $30 quickly becomes $50. read more

Really a bad experience. Spare ribs were spoiled or had the worst marinade ever. They were probably microwaved out of the freezer and lay in a puddle of water. The staff was not interested or surprised. read more

Ugh. Where do I begin? It's not awful. The food is actually quite good. BUT--- the price in relation to the amount of food is absolutely ridic. Nearly $40(US) for breakfast for my husband and I- he ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast; I had belgian waffles (which were actually three bite-sized belgian waffles; they were quite tasty, but not for what they cost). Service was pretty meh- had we not been absolutely starving, half-awake, and mildly hungover, we'd probably not had eaten here- but because it was 6a and Heathrow, we were exactly thinking clearly. Ew. I ordered chicken tikka masala, figuring that the Indian food that I've had before in the UK was pretty good, and this place ruined that streak. I mean, there was no curry, no butter sauce and the pieces of chicken were dark meat-gross!! It looked (and tasted) like they used the chicken scraps and put some tomato sauce on it; figuring that a little blonde wouldn't know the difference. My husband had the Pie in the Sky, which he liked and I ended up just eating the Warm Brownie. read more

I went there because the alternatives all seem to involve just sandwiches...... But on reflection I wish I'd just had the sarnie...... Or even waited to eat at Charles de Gaule....... Yes: the Dining Room is THAT bad. I foolishly thought the chicken burger might be ok. WRONG. A piece of chemically coloured chicken breast they had barely seen real cooking. Bun was supermarket grade. Chips were fresh and ok, but served in a small bucket to disguise the small size of the portion. So if you want to wait a while for a flight then it is adequate, but don't plan it as a nutritionally rewarding hour. read more

I enjoyed fish and chips here , friendly staff. Tasty food. Ice cream was good. Sticky toffee pudding was awesome.

I had to wait an hour due sudden flight delay but i enjoyed most of time at Dining Street. Staff were fab and great food!

Slow. Under staffed. Probably not suitable to operate at a busy airport. Unless you have a long time to wait - 2 hours, the sandwich shops is your better bet. read more

Fast service. I had the burger. Nice but tiny tiny amount of chips. Very expensive for what it was. Washed it down with a glass of fanta. Very small glass of liquid for £2.65! Staff nice-ish. Would not recommend. Try garfunkles or the bar at the other end of terminal 4 I would say. read more
