This is coming from someone that usually HATES shredded beef from Chinese places because of the dryness and lack of flavor....The Sha cha shredded beef (lunch plate) was amazing! Perfectly tender and juicy with that Szechuan kick that i just love. I went there at 11:40ish when they barely opened so it was just me. Of course the service was phenomenal since it was just me, but the vibe was amazing and relaxing. Just being able to relax and enjoy my salad while listening to the sizzling stir fry of the meal in the wok. Or the crackle of the oil when they dropped in my crab cheese wontons. We ordered the shrimp fried rice and the Singapore mei fun. For takeout, they gave us HUGE portions and were very quick to prepare the food. The shrimps that are in the food are JUMBO, and they put so many in the fried rice and mei fun! I want to also highlight how sweet the owners are! The price to quality ratio is not that great!! The portions are not that big and the taste is okay! I feel like better food can be found for cheaper! Cashew shrimp was described as kung pao but with cashews; that is not what I got. It had cucumbers, onions, etc and wasn't spicy but soupy- not what I expected or as described. My only complaint was there are no prices anywhere on the menu for the beers. Be warned, they will charge you $8.50 for 1 Sapporo (yes expensive and overpriced regardless of these economic times!). They will charge you $4.50 (yes) for 1 bud light.. Even expensive Belgian import beer does not cost this much. The food is good. read more

Overall, it is the same family that owned the Ding How Buffet on I-55, but after that, they relocated to Old Canton, in a smaller place. Actually it is the old Good Time Deli or Sammy's location. We got take out, we ordered Chicken Singapore Mei Fun, Vegetarian Noodle Soup, and Beef Broccoli. The Singapore Mei Fun and Beef Broccoli were excellent. Portions could have been better, I was really disappointed with the portions. The only downer was my Vegetarian Noodle Soup. I keep looking for someone that can give me a soup like Saigon on Lakeland! No one in the metro area, does a better noodle soup. I gave Ding How a try, but Saigon still holds the crown for asian soups in Jackson, Mississippi. Very clean location, staff was nice, food was good, besides the noodle soup. Other than that, we will return to give them more business in the future. read more

In town visiting relatives and stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. My family and I arrived with a large group just before closing and Yan (One of the owners) pleasantly greeted and seated us! Since we arrived at closing, we were prepared to do take out but Yan insisted we stay. When the food came out, every item we ordered was made to perfection and was served with a smile and lots of jokes (Yan should moonlight as a comedian). I ordered my boyfriend and myself some Khal Bi and Mongolian Beef last night for dinner (and had it delivered) and I was tempted to order more tonight! Our meals came with salads, rice of choice, and a soup of choice. The egg drop soup is perfect, the salad dressing was tasty, and we got a delicious Bistro Treasure Sampler for an appetizer. Everything was so flavorful, had great portion sizes, and on top of the food being great, the staff had such great customer service. About 15 minutes after I ordered, a worker called to apologize because they were having issues with a side item not being available and the possible long wait time. My family and I love this place!! We have always ordered take-out but I'd love to actually go and sit down sometime. The woman who runs the counter is awesome and remembers us. Definitely order directly from them and not through a delivery service, though; orders are more easily mixed up when a third party gets involved. The fried rice is excellent and so are the spring rolls. I get sesame chicken (which looks like orange chicken, but don't be fooled!). My mom loves the hibachi-style plate with grilled chicken and veggies. They include free salads and soup with each entree, but we always ask for extra salads because the soup isn't "soup"-er great.
