Not the best Chinese food, but not bad either. We went with the dinner for 2. You get a combo appetizer, choose an entree from the A and 1 from the B side. Then you get fried rice. Appetizers - Chicken Wings were good. Everything else was okay. Shrimp Egg Foo Young - First time, we seen it made with onions instead of bean sprouts. My guy seemed to have liked it. Garlic Chicken - Not spicy, but actually tasted a bit sweet. Overall, not a bad option if you are staying at any of the hotels. read more

The food was good with fair portions. I ordered from the "Daily Special" menu. The price for Hunan chicken was $4.55 including fried rice, 2 rangoons and soup. The waiter asked what kind of soup I wanted, and I told him hot and sour. When I got the bill, it had something else in Chinese for $1.50. Since I did not order a drink, I asked them what that was for. They said it was for the hot and sour soup. I showed them the menu said soup was included. They said that was only for egg drop or won ton soup. I said the menu did not specify, nor did the waiter tell me the hot and sour choice would be extra. They said on the other menu, it specified only the two were included. I argued that I did not order from the other menu, and had no way of knowing they intended to charge more for my choice, and the waiter said nothing of an additional charge for it. They made a big fuss over the fact that it was stated on the other menu and insisted I pay the additional charge. I told them I would not pay for something not on the menu or communicated to me when ordering, and they need to state ALL their charges on the menu I ordered from. I will not go back. read more

My dad and I used to eat there when he worked in Canton. Their fried rice had this taste that you never forget. Haven't been there in over 15 years but I have never eaten at another Chinese restaurant that didn't disappoint me. The flavor in their food is in a league all by itself. Was spending the night in Canton and wasn't expecting much as far as restaurants. But I decided to try this restaurant and boy was a pleasantly surprised. One of my favorite places to eat! My husband and I split either Sweet and Sour Chicken or Shrimp to go, which comes with fried rice and one egg roll. We get one more egg roll. It costs less than $10 with tax, is ready in 10 minutes, and we have some left over! Also, they are now open on Sundays. read more
