Beautifully appointed restaurant in the Mountain House Lodge at Sereno Canyon. Although located within a gated community, this restaurant is open to the public and the views are fabulous. The food is presented well and tastes fresh. The prices are a bit steep but nothing out of the ordinary for similar fare at restaurants within communities. Great food, service and ambience, so definitely a place to check out!

If you're looking for great atmosphere (with a ridiculous) view then look no further. This place is hands down the best kept secret in the valley. Friendly staff and always willing to accommodate your needs. But where this place really stands out is the food. The most unique menu around with super fresh ingredients. The chef really knows what he is doing here. Super diverse menu for all ages. 10/10! Their nightly special is always great. Items you won't get at other restaurants (Hen, Quail, Kimchi, etc.) Try the new menu item, Cioppino!

Condescending server and hostess. Hostess uniform skirt is way too short, which is very inappropriate.

Food selection and pricing. $16 for bread and butter is a bit ridiculous. Menu is weird.

The food has improved a lot in 6 years. We stopped by for dinner and ordered the pretzel knots,…read moresalad, and short ribs. The knots were just as good as we remember. Soft and sweet, and pairs great with the cheese dipping sauce. The short ribs were very tender. Our last trip here we were unimpressed with the meat--it was tough and dry. So, we were pleasantly surprised with how good the short ribs were. We would gladly return to Proof on our next visit.

They raved about the appetizers and burgers. I had the burger which was possibly one of the best burgers I have ever had - juicy, well seasoned, perfectly toasted bread, good sauces that didnt overwhelm. The staff was great. Our party knew the head chef and he was so friendly and kind when he came to visit our table. The waiter also helped us pick a lovely dessert for my husband's birthday - it was a chocolate mousse dessert shaped as a cactus desert landscape with all elements edible. Absolute perfection! And all flavored like smore's. The restaurant is large but cozy and the perfect casual dining spot located on the property. Would definitely return for the food and friendly staff!

I visited Belmont for my birthday dinner with close friends from out of town and had never been to the restaurant before. We were seated outside on a colder night but they had plenty of heaters and blankets available to keep you warm. The vibe is upscale, classy, and gives off that of a speakeasy. This is a place where you want to dress up. I personally wore a sport coat and slacks; many of the other men in the restaurant did the same...defiantly NO jeans here. For food, we ordered the butternut squash ravioli which was probably the BEST THING I ATE IN A WHILE. The sauce was flavorful, ravioli fresh, and wow just wow...I could have easily eaten 5 servings it was that good. For my main I ordered the Filet and my friends ordered the beef short rib and gnocchi. The filet was perfectly seared and served with potatoes which were a little rich but still very good. The beef short rib and gnocchi dishes look very very good and my friends raved about them. I had a taste of the short rib and will be ordering this next time. Everything was just fantastic and the portions are on the larger side so come hungry. We did not order any drinks but did see there was a ferris wheel drink tower and many other delectable wines/cocktails available. Given this was for my birthday, the waiter brought out a special chocolate dessert which was more than enough to share. Overall, the experience was fantastic, so much so I asked to speak to the owner and manager. The owner Phil and manager Alex were very professional, kind, and thankful for us choosing to celebrate/dine at Belmont. These are GOOD people and everything about the Belmont makes me want to go back and support them even more. Cheers to the Belmont, I will be back!

Chicken picccata did not disappoint and could match any 5 star Italian restaurant. Perfect amount of capers with the tangy lemon sauce. The green beans and asparagus were grilled to perfection. The Chicken sandwich was a very generous portion but was so delicious it had to be totally consumed without asking for a doggy bag. The wine list was adequate but could have a few more choices. Our waitress was so engaging it enhanced the total evening! We will return.

We usually dine inside the main restaurant, which is great too, but this spot is right off the course with tons of tables and TVs everywhere, perfect for sports, snacks, and emotional support during extra innings. The staff managed to seat all eight of us, which already felt like a small miracle. We started ordering drinks and appetizers, and I was starving. Like, the kind of starving where my daughter and I both turn into tiny gremlins who should not be approached without caution. If you've ever been within six feet of me when I'm hangry, you know your best move is to evacuate the area immediately. So I asked for bread before the dark side fully took over. They brought rolls that were... interesting. Sweet? Savory? Peppery? Honestly, I still don't know what was happening on top of them, but I ate them anyway because survival mode was fully activated. For entrées, I ordered the chicken pot pie and my daughter got the chicken piccata. I'm still undecided whether my pot pie was genuinely amazing or if I was just ravenous, but I demolished the entire thing. and the size of that dish is not for the feint of heart. My daughter also wiped out her piccata, and she's three, so that's basically a Michelin endorsement. All in all, the food was delicious, the vibes were fun, and we had a great time, even if the World Series outcome has me emotionally damaged. 4 stars and we'll definitely be back!
