Very clean establishment. Kinda retro old school hip place. Very unique in OC among dollar store shops and eateries. We got a piercing here and picked up some extra jewelry. The service was fast and professional. Local laws require proper identification and local police do stings on these shops for compliance. Proper ID is required as it should be. The piercer does have fantastic hair to start with. He was clearly skilled in what he was doing. Went with a group. Got my conch (barbells through the bowls of my ears) piercings done here. Dan is friendly, professional and above all experienced. He's been doing body piercings for over 20 years. He let my husband come w me for moral support. Dan put me at ease and did a perfect job getting my piercings symmetrical as possible. The downstairs store gives a 50s , 60s vibe, with lots of vintage furnishings. Merch wise, very cool and sparse. The upstairs piercing parlor is modern and sterile. I had a great experience here! I didn't catch the name of the lady working the desk but she was very sweet, and easy to vibe with. She made it easy to ask questions before hand and shared experiences with the piercings and the piercer himself! Dan was a great piercer, clean, quick, but made sure placement was right. I used to live in Ocean City and I've always known dimensions to be the best place to get piercings on the boardwalk. I came in to the shop two years ago to inquire about getting a piercing and the young lady that was working the counter quoted me almost $100 for the piercing. Needless to say that I declined. This year while I was visiting home I stepped in again with my niece to inquire about piercing and I was quoted $45 with the jewelry. I decided to get my nose pierced last minute. She asked me to come back in an hour as her piercer was out on lunch. When I returned there was a different lady that was working the counter. (I'm not sure what her name was but she had blonde hair and tattoos and has apparently been working for dimensions for quite some time.). She was really great as far as giving me all of the information that I needed pertaining to the piercing, the procedure, after care, and the pricing, etc. After about a 20 minute wait, I went upstairs to get the piercing done. The gentleman that did the piercing did an amazing job. He was very clean, thorough, he got the job done quickly, and virtually pain-free. Now, any piercing is never going to be pain-free but considering that this was a piercing of the nose it was as pain-free as I could imagine it could be. My piercing is amazing! I get a lot of compliments on it and I would definitely recommend anyone who is interested in getting peers to go see the folks at Dimesions!! read more

I had a great experience getting my daith pierced today. The shop is owned by a husband and wife duo who are both awesome. Bridgette helped me decide on a piercing, and her Dan completed it. The piercing area is away from the main store, upstairs to be exact. The room I was pierced in was clean, organized and comfortable. I was 100% confident in the cleanliness of the area & all tools were opened in front of me. The prices are what you would expect for safe jewelry and professional piercing, and worth it. I first had my nose pierced by Dan and Dimensions. I was so happy with the shop I had him do a triple helix for me. I am a nurse and am very "infection" conscious. This shop is clean and professional. I would not get pierced ANYWHERE else. I am going this weekend for a triple lobe and a double helix (or that is my plan!) Dan is very honest and will tell you how what will work and what may not meet your "expectations!" He really knows his piercings and is quite exacting in his measurements and placements. I can't say enough good things about this place! I must ad that Dan' s wife is a real gem and she has been there each time I have been pierced. I like her a lot! read more

First of all, the piercer has really nice hair. He pierced me and my 3 friends efficiently and we're all happy with the results. The shop has really cool decorations, the lady at the front desk was nice, helpful, and efficient. The pricing was fair, and it was really a no bs experience. Only negative is that I wouldn't go here for a first ever piercing, if you don't know what to expect, he may not explain step by step what's going on. I love this place! There are so many places to go get pierced when you're in OC, but please for the love of all things holy, make this the only place you choose! Dan and the rest of the staff are amazing and know what they're doing. The place is clean and everyone is friendly which makes for great customer service. I have had 2 piercings done here and have loved both of them! I got my tragus done in 2016 and just had my rook done. I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment and actually held off on getting my rook done until I was back in the area just so I could go here. Now that says something! I recently got my belly piercing a few days ago with my friend. it's a very clean establishment and very professional. the piercing process was fairly quick and easy. I put four stars because my piercing wasn't straight. I wasn't sure if I should say anything at the time because it's not like you can redo the piercing. the hole he entered in was centered, but the hole he exited out on top isn't straight at all/centered. my sister pointed it out the minute i showed her. my friend's turned out fine. she went after I did. not much left for me to do except keep it or take it out and redo it. which i rather not do again. read more

I walked in the immediately one of the business owner's she was so friendly. She asked what I would like I told her my navel and faith also one changed she said great I asked her what kind of jewelry she would you use she showed me my options told me that have her husband see which piercing was right for me because of rejection. I asked her to quote me a price she said absolutely she went to her computer and gave me a price but for me on vacation I couldn't do all 3 so told her she was great about it. I decided to do the change of one and my bellybutton piercing. She said we will settle up after I was done sent me upstairs to get my piercing I sat a few minutes when her husband came out took me in I asked him if I could use my jewelry he said it's was to big for where I wanted it. I wanted my VCH changed so he gave me options what was the best kind to put there. So he marked me where my bellybutton ring would go and got my jewelry started my piercing it did not hurt when he put the needle in my skin he was very gentle I didn't even know my bellybutton was done. He asked me if I wanted his wife to change my VCH I said no it's ok I had it done by a man piercer back home I had no problem with him doing it he changed that quickly I was so happy I was in and out in 10 minutes wonderful young man I went back down stairs to pay for my piercing's I told her what he used she totaled my bill I paid for my piercing's. She said if I needed anything she gave me her number or I could message her she would figure out why my bellybutton piercing rejected it I'm from Pennsylvania I was in OC Maryland on a vacation I also bought salt spray to clean it..I going to tell you there the best piercing place on the East coast because I never had someone care so much I have a lot of piercing's done but hands down they are amazing amazing couple they work together as a team to make you feel so good they don't push you to spend money on piercings I want a few more piercing's done I would drive 5 hours for them to do it if I could my bellybutton did not hurt after 3 minutes I am now at about 17 hours after having it done I still can't tell no pain at the site I can't even tell I had it done if I could give them 10 stars I would thank you so much Dimensions's for giving me so most wonderful experience getting my piercing's done...I will be back for my next 2 I wouldn't have anyone else do them..Judy.. read more

Dimensions is the BEST piercing shop on the OC boardwalk! The shop is two floors. The bottom is the first floor you walk into and it has alot of cute clothing for girls (*Most looked pin up styled which is adorable!*) and another area with just skateboards. The top floor is where you actually go up and get pierced. The shop is also very clean which of course is a huge plus. The staff was amazing and nice! I got my nose pierced here today and it seemed like it only took about two minutes and then I was done! I waited about ten minutes for a nose piercing, and the piercing itself only took five minutes. Dan was very cautious about placing the marked dot on my nose.
