The shop is extremely clean and organized, the jewelry is high quality, the waiting area is super comfortable and the entire space gets the best natural light which just adds to the warm and relaxing atmosphere. A lot of piercers can be intimidating or dont create a comfortable space for you to ask questions or give input, however cheyne is very easy to talk to and really took the time to go over placement and check in with me while marking to make sure i was happy with it and comfortable during every step. When it came time for the actual piercings, they were done quickly and gently and the jewelry was in before I even knew it. I absolutely love my new forward nostril piercings, he couldnt have done a better job!! If you want perfect piercings by a kind human, I highly recommend giving tradecraft a try!

Cheyne took the time to discuss exactly what I wanted and demonstrated great applied understanding of anatomy, sterile piercing technique, and client care. The result was a perfect septum piercing. Cheyne also has a very client-first approach: he suggested multiple jewelry options, including some that were less expensive than the one I preferred, and even offered recommendations for other piercers if I could not find exactly what I wanted at his shop that day. This demonstrated that his priority is helping the clients achieve the best piercing, not just making a sale. Tradecraft is the only piercing studio in the area I have found with high quality jewelry and high quality piercers. Go get poked here!

My sister brought some ideas with her and the owner was patient, listened to her ideas, and designed the tattoo on a paper to show his vision with my sister. We were there for about 2 1/2 hours for the first session. The piece looks great. My only regret is not going to this guy for my two half sleeve tribal (ish) tats. I would highly recommend the owner of this shop. He's fantastic!

He greeted us warmly and confirmed he had time for mother/daughter tattoos before shop closing unlike another area shop we tried first. I showed him a picture of what we liked, he helped alter it on his computer to our liking within minutes. We picked the size, he adapted to location for each of us since I wanted on my left leg and my mom on her right. This was my mom's first tattoo. Jimmy did a great job easing her mind on process and was gentle. Each tattoo was completed in about a half an hour. Very satisfied with results and cost.

We ended up doing a pattern for the whole thing where he'd tattoo for 20 seconds and then stop for 10 seconds so I could process and then start tattooing again for 20 seconds and we repeated that until it was finished! This tattoo is super important to me as I'm a make a wish kid and my wish was to meet the band My Chemical Romance back in 2022 and for every show date of their tour they wrote something different on the drumhead and for the show I attended they wrote Bloom on the drumhead and I ended up taking it and tracing it so he would have a clear reference image to work from and we ended up listening to their music during the process which was a really nice distraction from the pain and anxiety that I had when it first started since I didn't know what to expect but Jimmy walked me through everything and was extremely patient with me through the whole thing and made sure to ask for my consent and permission before he started tattooing during every single break we took which was incredibly helpful for me and I will definitely be coming back in the future! Thank you for being incredibly patient with me and accommodating and making my first tattoo an amazing experience to commemorate the night I fought so hard for!

They have like 3 total employees working at any time and the place is almost always very empty but they require reservations and are very strict about it. Pedicures aren't anything special. The owners are extremely pretentious. See their reviews here and google. I've never seen such reviews and then responses by the owners to customers. They have a lot of "rules" and choose to not accept customers for all sorts of random reasons, but they're not high end at all and it's ocean city. One time we were there, a customer got into a heated disagreement with them and left. I don't know the reason but should have taken that as a sign. It seems to be their MO.

Both owners work alongside everyone else; they require all stylists to stay up to date with current trends through ongoing training and classes. I saw Karen's one-star review in May of 2026, and I had to shake my head!! The salon JUST lost two of its staff back-to-back to sudden and unexpected deaths, and it was a sad time for both clients and staff. I have NEVER been treated poorly by anyone at the desk, on the phone, or in the chair. The irony is that her name is Karen. She said she had been going to this shop for years. Wow, what a way to support a business while they are dealing with a tremendous loss. Clearly, they were doing something right up until this time, or she wouldn't have been going "for years." Insert an eye roll right here. Connie does my hair, but I have gotten to know all the girls in the salon and would trust any of them with my hair.
