I was so nervous to hand my vision over to a stranger, and Lindsey executed beyond my wildest dreams! It helps that she is just SO lovely and easy to work with! I hired her as a "part-time" planner as I knew I wanted to hire my vendors and then hand everything off to her a few months before the wedding. She provided vendor recommendations for the few I had yet to book late last year, and was SO communicative the entire process, which I really appreciate. I am pretty Type A and like things to happen a certain way, and not only did I have ZERO stress leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day, Lindsey made the whole process easy and FUN, which is how it should be!!! From…read morethe initial phone call, I got the impression that she was organized, professional and honest, which was true throughout the planning process. Me and my husband got the middle-tier package, which did not include budget and vendor payments (note: this package excludes reminders to pay vendors as well). Echo's approach to wedding planning is methodical and well-organized. For instance, she created a dedicated folder where she would post/remove deliverables incrementally as we went through the process. That way, we did not feel overwhelmed since she already broke down the steps into smaller, manageable pieces. Or, another great example is organizing our email communications by different work streams so that we could easily refer to conversations by topic, and not lose track of items when discussing multiple vendors at once. Echo was always quick to reply on every communication platform. We trusted Echo not only for her planning skills, but also for her local knowledge of vendors. We followed her recommendations under the assumption that she would put together an excellent team to execute our vision. On the day of the wedding, they all worked together like a well-oiled machine. They say that something always goes wrong on your actual wedding day, but ours was had little/no stress. I know that there is a lot of background work for that to occur -- so thank you Echo!

Stop stressing and book Elsa!…read more I was planning a destination wedding in Sonoma all the way from Chicago and was feeling the stress of the distance. I hired Elsa to help (aka - take over) all wedding decor. She and I exchanged a few emails and she pretty much took it from there! She got my vision and executed against it flawlessly. I met with her in person at the venue walk through where we covered a few remaining details. Words cannot describe what a relief Elsa was! She was at the venue early, already setting up by the time I arrived. She created incredible and unique centerpieces consisting of vintage books, small vases, tea cups, and flower blossoms. She also presented my seating cards in a totally unique way - she hung them from suspended frames. Now if this isn't enough to win you over, Elsa did something that SHOCKED me. Throughout my wedding planning I often felt that my venders were over priced and taking advantage of the fact that I was trying to coordinate my wedding remotely. A few days after my wedding, we were opening the cards we received from the wedding and found one from Elsa. She wrote us a kind note and included a check for a partial refund. In her note she explained that a few of the flowers she purchased for our centerpieces had wilted and she wasn't able to use them. The day of the wedding, I had no idea this was even an issue because everything looked perfect. However, Elsa's honesty is refreshing and I cannot recommend her enough! Thank you Elsa! You made our day perfect!

Horrible customer service, did not follow through with what I had planned for this special day. We had our wedding in March of 2019 and had hired Alexis and her team for our wedding coordination…read more We were excited to work with her and met with her several times in the lead-up to the wedding. We were told to expect several staff from her team on-site to help coordinate in our outdoor multi-site venue. She was even on-site the day before our wedding with an assistant to plan everything out. Then the day-of came, and Alexis did not show up. She sent her assistant with one other person, who we had never seen before and who knew nothing about our wedding. We were expecting Alexis, her coordinator, plus additional support based on our discussions up until that point. Having only two people show up day-of was alarming. So much went wrong on the day of the wedding, most of which she had told us she and her team would coordinate: 1. We spent the week before hand-crafting floral arrangements - many of which were not set out, even though our coordinators were responsible for putting out our decor. Our theme was "wildflowers," but you wouldn't be able to tell because a lot of it stayed boxed up. 2. Our wedding site didn't have enough chairs set up. Fortunately, the bride's mother arrived early and had to run around trying to find staff who could bring out and arrange the site. 3. Our DJ was supposed to be driven out to the wedding site in an ATV because it was muddy. The assistants apparently didn't know this though it was discussed, and so he ended up running late for the ceremony while he waited for a lift. 4. Our DJ was then supposed to be picked up from the ceremony site, but the coordinators didn't have a ride ready. In a rush he ended up driving his personal van out to the site and got stuck in the mud and couldn't make it back to the cocktail party and had to be hauled out. 5. The bridal party was very late to the ceremony site because the coordination staff wasn't communicating with each other or the site staff. The drivers, therefore, were running behind just because they weren't told about timing. Our guests waited in the sun at the ceremony site while the bridal party waited to be taken there. 6. The ceremony site was not set out the way we'd agreed and was missing most of the decorations. A ton of decor and flowers we expected at the wedding site stayed boxed, leaving us with an unadorned aisle and ceremony site. 7. The backup coordinators set aside none of the cocktail hour appetizers for the bride and groom - something Alexis said she would make sure to do. 8. The DJ came to us sheepishly at the end of the night, saying that typically he would coordinate payment with the coordinator, but they had left without notifying anyone. He went to the groom in the middle of the reception to make sure he would get paid. 9. Many of the guests spent the day picking up the slack of things we had agreed Alexis's team would do. We were agitated that they couldn't just enjoy the day after we went to so much expense in hiring coordinators. 10. The backup coordinator spent the day asking the bride and groom what she was supposed to be doing next and what we expected of her next. 11. The backup coordinator and her assistant were given walkie-talkies from the venue staff because cell phone reception was spotty at best. The venue staff was unable to find the coordinators when they needed them because the walkies apparently weren't often on. 12. Because of all this, the bride was pulled away so often she could not take pre-ceremony photographs with her bridesmaids. 13. Because the ceremony started so late, we ended up having to pay for an extra hour for our photographers and videographer to stay for the events we wanted to have filmed. We followed up with Alexis, and she asserted that they fulfilled their end of the bargain, and she proceeded to blame us for how everything fell apart and accused us of not being organized enough. She also said that enough chairs were at the ceremony site even though this was blatantly untrue, and we can prove it so with photographs and drone footage taken that day. Also, how would she possibly know? She was not there. Nothing changes the fact that the person we had been working with for five months didn't make it to our wedding, sent someone who knew nothing about our wedding to coordinate, and the day-of was chaos when it didn't have to be. Looking through photos of the day brings such mixed emotions. Having no pre-ceremony photographs with bridesmaids is one thing, but seeing pictures of our unfinished ceremony site is a heartbreaking reminder. Those pictures will last forever, as will those memories of a day that did not go as planned due to the poor coordination by Alexis Solano. All we can do at this point is to warn others against working with Alexis Solano Events for something as meaningful or costly as a wedding. If we knew then what we know now, we would have been better off hiring anyone else or just doing it all ourselves.

We started with a fun day of venue scouting up and down Napa and Sonoma, based on some recommendations she had sent over from our estimated budget, wedding size, and theme. She had great ideas for each venue and after the day was over we knew that she would be an asset to our wedding team. We asked Lindsey to come on as a Day of Coordinator, but she was helpful even before our three month planning period began. We ended up throwing Lindsey a curveball, by requesting her to help us at a venue in Lake Tahoe, with a venue and vendors she wasn't already familiar with. You never would have guessed this was the case because everything went off without a hitch. This venue was also pretty particular in set-up and break-down protocols which to me sounded overwhelming, but if there was ever a problem, I had no idea, because to me everything was as seamless as if Lindsey had been working there for years. Throughout the whole process, Lindsey was very supportive of our ideas and even did some major work to help us DIY a few elements of our wedding to cut costs down. Everything came out even more beautiful than I had imagined, and I have her to thank for this, she has a great eye. On the day of, she was like a ninja cueing everyone up and making the whole day as smooth and beautiful as possible. I really can't thank her enough, my wedding was a dream, and would recommend her to any of my friends highly.

We approached our wedding day as something that would more or less "fall into place," but as the day grew closer, we began to realize the necessity and immense helpfulness of J Warner Events. I could write quite a bit, but here are a few things that stood out to my wife and I about them: 1) They value creativity and space, while remaining vocal and leading. Both in word and deed, Jon and Jessie upheld the important balance of our preferences and dreams for the wedding, while still challenging and guiding us into efficient solutions and execution. They are averse to dominating or controlling the wedding event, and seek to orient themselves around the couple's goals. They listened patiently to our ideas, sometimes even sacrificing their own opinions. They visibly shared our excitement about the highlights of the day. But at the same time, they were quick to suggest alternative ways of the details of our day. They were quick to step up and take over details that we were too busy or too forgetful to remember. Their firm direction was essential to making the day come together so perfectly. 2) They add delightful, unanticipated personal touches. Jon and Jessie both personally created or oversaw little decorations and details that we did not expect. Some of these details ended up really making the day. Jon worked to get a large, custom-painted wooden sign with our name on it up at the front of the property, something we didn't expect. 3) They are encouraging to be around. Weddings are an extremely stressful time. Jon and Jessie bring the tension and stress down by their cheerful, cooperative presence. As a couple, they are perfect together, complimenting each other and their ideas. Working together, they offered us endless kind words and hope for the day. This made all the difference -- having a team of coordinators that are constantly upbeat, humble and cheerful is a rare thing. They are genuine to the core, and this will put any wedding event and those involved at ease. In addition, I attended a wedding a month later in Petaluma, CA that they coordinated as well, as was just as impressed! I would highly recommend this dynamic duo. They were such a blessing and encouragement to us. You are doing yourself and your wedding day a favor in choosing them. Thank Jon and Jessie!
