They are wonderful! They do anything they can to make their guests feel like they belong. If you are looking for great repartee or to enjoy a quiet evening alone, either way, they will happily oblige. Then there is the food! Everything is made from scratch...including the yogurt! Finally, there is the house itself. Enjoy mechanical music? Boy have they got it! There are at least four grand reproducing pianos, a pianola, a full player organ, numerous rare music boxes, and victrolas and radios of every sort. Then there is the collection of rare clocks...to many to count. During the summer, you will probably receive a tour of the spectacular antique car collection which includes two Franklin Automobiles and an American LaFrance roadster, to name a few. The suite was quiet and very cozy. They offer free wifi, and free parking. They have a Beautiful wraparound porch to sit on during the afternoon or early evening but we didn't get a chance to enjoy, will the next visit !! We will definitely stay again as well as Highly recommend to family and friends... The only think I would suggest to management would be more of a cable or TV package, viewing was limited and nothing to watch. I had the pleasure of staying two nights at Heritage House Inn and Suites, and I do mean…read more"pleasure." Sure, I could have stayed at a cookie-cutter chain hotel in this university town, but for just a few dollars more, I rented the Master's Suite, literally half of the second floor of this beautiful Victorian mansion, which came equipped with a huge sitting room, a full (private) bath, and a complete kitchen. The kitchen was the selling point for me when booking the room, since I'm on a strict diet and need to be able to cook fresh food (rather than rely on fast-food and takeout). To be clear, this is NOT a bed and breakfast. There are no common areas in the house, and the innkeepers do not provide meals. It's really more of a furnished rental, available for short and long-term stays in Indiana. Pros: Comfortable bed and sitting room furniture, full kitchen, WiFi, cable TV service, full bath, complimentary bottled water and snack basket, off-street parking, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Plus the staff is very friendly and helpful and their pre-arrival communications (confirmation emails) are excellent. Cons: Neither of these should reflect poorly on the innkeepers or Heritage House. But I have to mention them: 1. Noise. Bring your earplugs (I always travel with mine) because 6th Street is apparently a major artery and every pickup truck with a bad muffler in Indiana County must drive past the house between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. 2. Street construction. Indiana is tearing up a bunch of streets, including School Street, which requires the roads crew to barricade the street to any motor traffic. Unfortunately, Heritage House's private parking lot is accessed via School Street, so it's impossible to get to the Inn between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays. According to Becki (who clued me to the secret of taking the alley halfway down School Street to escape the lot during the day), this construction has been going on for months, so be aware you may need to delay your arrival until after 5 or sundown, whichever comes firts. Bottom-line, this was a wonderful stay and I would heartily recommend Heritage House Inn and Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable, private alternative to the Comfort Inn.

In the early morning hours and sometimes even during the day - the surrounding hills cover with fog and you feel like you're standing on an island in the middle of the ocean. It's utterly breathtaking. (I highly recommend staying in the upstairs bedroom! Super comfy beds, an awesome bathroom/shower, and a perfect view of the rolling hills!) A large group of wedding vendors and I photographed a styled wedding on the property and we couldn't have been happier with the end result. There are acres and acres of beautiful trails to walk, a large pond full of fish, an awesome bonfire and outdoor bar, as well as a beautiful barn on the land. The space is utterly perfect for country or outdoor weddings! I cannot wait to visit again - both for professional reasons and for personal! Gettysburg brought tears to.my eyes as I thought of all these young lives lost to man's stupidity. Fly 93's heroics and Johnstown's resilience. On the upside, we saw Flank Loyd Wright's. "Falling Water" and spent two nights at Seven Springs Mountain Resort, which BTW is a 5 Star.

She handed us a beat up menu and said to tell them we were a guest there. We were pretty taken aback. Part of the reason we booked this B&B, or any B&B for that matter, is the homemade breakfast experience, prepared by your host. The description on the website, bragged about her wonderful breakfasts. Once we figured out that the "restaurant " was actually a bar and grill, we decided to go find a good breakfast out of town. So, we paid twice for our breakfast. The private bath was nearly as large as the room! Our room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent (fruit cup followed by french toast and sausage). All of the rooms were rented while we were there but there was still plenty of space at the table and lots of breakfast to go around. We would absolutly return and highly recommend to anyone in the area!

This is a beautiful B&B. It manages to be cozy and roomy. Every room has a private full bathroom…read moreand unique decor in each room and an adorable hedgehog theme in the public areas. There is a hot tub; bring a suit. You can indicate what time you'd like breakfast and the food is well prepared and delicious with excellent quantity and variety. Tea, juice, milk and good coffee are on offer. There is a cozy sitting area where adult beverages as well as bottled water, tea and coffee are available with board games and a fireplace. This is near skiing, and you could enjoy beautiful Somerset fall foliage. I'm told it is rarely humid in the area. It is also close close to the memorial for flight 93. We were in town with family for a funeral and this was a very comforting place to gather and spend time with family and friends. The owners and staff are considerate and kind. They took marvelous good care of us.
