The restaurant is next to an Indian market. Very likely owned by a same owner. The parking lot has an abundant of spaces. The restaurant was clean and the lightning is warm but not brilliant. The decor was simple. The ambient noise was low, and you can carry a conversation with your party or partner. The server was very friendly and attentive. The wait time on the food was reasonable. We were warned that the tandoori chicken may take up to 20 minutes which we were ok with it. The rest of the food were served hot and fresh. The spicy garlic nan was absolutely scrumptious. The portion of the masala and rice was good too. The tandoori chicken was slightly on the tastier side, salty. Nonetheless. It was very enjoyable. Overall. It was a great experience. The place is pretty small but comfy. It can fit maybe 30 people max. The customer service is excellent! They checked in with us to make sure we were good and that the food tasted good. We went during lunch. They offered a buffet style that included lots of classic vegetarian dishes, chicken, goat, samosas, chutney, and desserts. The food tasted phenomenal. The food stays hot and fresh on the hot plates They also let you choose what type of carb - butter naan, garlic naan, rice. The garlic naan was well seasoned and crispy! It's rare to find a place that will give you crispy naan, but this was perfect. You can also choose your drink during the lunch buffet - mango lassi, soda, masala chai. I got the mango lassi of course but I would like to try the masala chai next time. Don't forget to take some dessert in their cute portable leaf bowls! read more

For $15 you can get a pretty filling lunch (it's $1 extra for garlic naan). I had to take half of it home, but all the dudes we went with polished off their entire meal. Our table got a mix of chicken vindaloo and tikka masala. While it was very good, the vindaloo was not as spicy as we all thought it would be. The tikka masala was super flavorful, and the accompanying dal was just as delicious. We even enjoyed the chutneys and pappadam that was the starter to our experience. Each lunch plate comes with a dal, basmati rice, pickled onions, and a samosa. The only item that could be considered a clunker is the samosa that came with the meal...it was a bit dry inside, but can be covered up with the chutneys. This has been one of the best Indian places I've been to in quite some time. read more

WOW. This place is a GEM! When I first stepped in, I knew this was going to be good. It felt like being welcomed into someone's home for good homemade meals. The staff were very friendly and I appreciated them informing me the portions are for 2-3 people. It prevented us from completely over-ordering! I loved the Chicken Tikka Masala! There was a GOOD spice kick to it, it was simply delicious. That okra dish was one of the best things we ate here. I haven't had okra like this and it has changed my view on it! The naan of course was tasty. If you're between the vindaloo and Tikka, I'd recommend the Tikka! The cilantro chutney for the samosas was very good as well! I'd def come back again and again. Still the same little store with quaint decor and just a signature feeling that you're in a great Indian restaurant with the Indian music and the fragrant smell of spices. Service was excellent as always. They were very attentive (we were the only table at 5 pm), and was quick to bring out the food. We were also offered to try some of their new mocktails being introduced to their menu. I came here years ago prior to covid and their food was amazing. Coming back now, it's still amazing. The selection was basically "greatest hits" (samosas, tandoori chicken, black dal, saag paneer, paneer tikka masala, chicken tikka masala, goat curry, baigan bharta). All was delicious! Was craving some good Indian food so I decided to order carry out from here. The food was ready when I arrived and packaged well. They give you a side of pickled onions and green sauce (I think it's cilantro based.) The Chicken Tikka Masala was not bad. Didn't satisfy my craving but it was decent. The chicken was really tender but the sauce could have had more flavor. On the other hand, the lamb chops I got were too salty. The only lamb I eat is lamb chops (and I normally love them) because I find that it doesn't have a very strong lamb smell and taste, but these tasted very "lamby" ( if you know, you know.) With that said, my family's take-out experience during the pandemic was splendid. Our dinner was packaged in a reusable bag and we were gifted mango lassi with our order; 10 out of 10 for customer experience. We ordered the following: -chili garlic naan ($3.00) -basmati rice ($3.00) -palak paneer ($14.95) -chicken tikka masala ($15.95) -chicken biryani ($14.95) The palak paneer (spinach and cheese) was so creamy. The chicken tikka masala is hands down one of my favorite versions - it was creamy and the cubes of chicken were plentiful and moist. At first I was wary about the price, but my entire family and I think that for the taste and the portion size it was worth it! They told us it would be two portions per order and we didn't listen LOL so make sure to factor that into your order as well. The butter chicken was deliciously smooth with whole pieces of chicken that came easily off the bone. Chicken tikka masala was perfectly spiced with well-sized chicken chunks. Both dishes were a huge hit alongside plain and garlic naan. We also ordered a vegetable biryani dish and it was a good size for all seven of us. We got food to go, but the service was impeccable nonetheless. It was disappointingly empty for a Saturday afternoon, clearly this spot is underrated. The inside is cozy and clean with lovely music playing at a good volume, and there's plenty of parking in the plaza. The employees were super kind about our hesitations with the menu, and we also got to try some lassi for the first time (mango, it was delicious!). The rice was well seasoned. It comes with a small portion of raita (yogurt sauce). The $5 mint chutney sauce was great. The basmati rice for $3 was a very small portion.
