I sold my clothes to them and it was a complete mess. They told my it would take the most 45 minutes but I didn't get my clothes til 2 hours later. They mixed up my order COMPLETELY and ended up stealing 6 pairs of my clothing and never told me about it until I looked in the basket of my clothes and saw a few items were missing... after I already was home I call them up and all Emily had to say about it was "oh I'm sorry here let me go talk to the lady who looked through your clothes" when she was the one who looked through it. Not only did they take my clothes and not tell me about it, but ended up giving me less than 20 dollars worth when they were all brand names. I also gave them brand new purple vans that costed over 60 dollars (mind you they say they take 1/3 of the original price and that's what they give you) and they told me they would give me $8.00 for it!! All they want are "trendy clothes" but half of their clothes look like they are from 2013 or something you saw on Pinterest when you were in middle school. I'm so upset that Plato's is like this now. Will not recommend this store to anyone.

Although I'm sure the managers couldn't care less. All they seemed to care about was playing with their phones. Whatever happened to the days when you walked into a shoe store, and a sales person greeted you and brought you shoes, helped you try them on, and was happy to answer all of your questions with a smile? I guess those days are long gone. All that's left is this self service garbage with employees who treat you like nothing but an inconvenience.

On multiple visits, I've noticed that I'm not acknowledged when I walk in or while shopping, while other customers--who appear to be of a different race--are greeted and helped right away. I hope management takes this seriously and works on providing equal, respectful service to everyone.

Their shoe selection is limited, but at least they carry shoes. They have some eclectic items like housewares and toys, but mostly, people go here for clothing. If you want to buy cheap artwork to decorate your walls, this is a good place to go. Most large pictures are $29.99 or less. Their clothing selection is good and they have a big and tall section. They usually carry suits, dress shirts, and ties, which I used to buy to meet my previous employer's dress code. So glad I don't have to waste money on ties anymore! The upstairs is closed and they have reduced their square footage. They have restrooms in case of an emergency. I like to look through Burlington's clothes once in a while to find something I might like. Sometimes I get lucky, other times, not so much. It's hit or miss and they're not guaranteed to have your size. I still recommend checking it out because their prices are very reasonable for name brand labels.
