Worst example of customer service ever. Some merchandise is priced 4x their own online price, and they refuse to price match. Go to the store, try on your dresses and such, then buy them from the online site for way less than in the store. Don't even try to argue, just buy it online and maybe after the sales in the store go diwn they might start pricing in line with their own website. In my example, store price: $79.00. Online regular price: $69.00, but online "permanent reduction" price: $14.99. Yes, 15 dollars vs 80 dollars. read more

My fiance and I went to this Dillard's to get a shirt and tie for our baby shower. When we found men's formal clothes, we were greeted by a man named Param. He was an incredible salesman. He took my measurements, found a perfect shirt and tie, asked all the right questions, and was clearly very knowledgeable. I would recommend his services to anyone. Apparently the perfume counter people don't work on SPH or commission anymore. If they do the person waiting on my husband must not need the job. He was on a mission to purchase me a special birthday gift. He was buying me ALL my fav perfume collections. he still needed two more series. One they dont carry anymore in stores. they told him to order it online, he said he needed it today. this employee says to him. You should've thought about it sooner. well that pissed him off. Hes been working on it for weeks. Always had luck at Dillards shops for me there for everything. I used to work there so we knew the quality. so he left an bought the Versace collection elsewhere. True confession: I'm not a mall shopper. I prefer getting my goods online or at local chain stores. Being that I'm a bridesmaid in my dear friend's spring wedding, it was inevitable that I'd end up at a mall looking at dresses. Last weekend, the inevitable happened. We started our shopping adventure at Dillard's in Strongsville. This was my first time in Dillard's and I have to admit, I was amazed at the selection and affordability! We had several different dress options to try on, the dressing rooms were clean and sophisticated, and the attendant who assisted us was kind, patient, and very helpful. My experience at this store has me *this* close to convinced that I could be a mall shopper, and like it. read more

Terrible customer service. Brought a pair of Antonio Melani Loafers (MADE BY DILLARDS) in because they are literally FALLING APART while barely worn. Waited for the "shoe manager" Marisol since the store manager couldn't help me? Well the wait was a waste of time because she said this normally doesn't happen, and that no shoes came back like this? Well mine did- so there's a defect, fix it. Well why are mine falling apart? Literally spent over $100 on these shoes and it's like I threw it in the trash! They weren't helpful what so ever. I love Dillard's. This store is a nice one with all the usual Dillard's items. The staff in the intimates department is helpful and kind. I spent quite a bit of time in the handbag dept. last evening and was provided with excellent assistance and information. I can say that the employees at this location are very nice and helpful. While I'll still probably go to the Great Northern Dillard's location for my shoes, I'll come here to fill in the gaps when the other location runs out of what I'm on the hunt for. read more

I came to the Dillard's today looking to buy a suit. I also had a few items that I thought I could get a price exchange on. Turns out I was reading the Macy's receipt and not the Dillard's. However, when I asked about this the first associate that would even look at me (which was #3) just told me "we don't do price exchanges. Read the receipt." I couldn't believe she would be so rude to a customer. As it is I walked through the Dillard's down to Express and spent $300 there instead. Customer service is everything. And the items I bought a week before, I had to walk around half of the store to even find an associate. This store obviously needs some major work. read more
