I walked into Dillard's the other day with my daughter hoping to have a good shopping spree. Our shopping spree started off phenomenal until I heard what looked like the manager talking to an employee in a very heinous vulgar tone. I will NOT return nor do I recommend this Dillard's. Out running errands in PearLand Texas and husband and I decided to stop and see if they had any thing we wanted. Husband is really into Tommy Bahama clothing. The problem started that the store has music playing on the intercom and the Tommy Bahama department had a jam box playing different music LOUD. A nice sales person came over to help us and I asked her to turn the music down which she did. Then a younger person in her 20's came over and turned the music back on and got mad at me for turning the music off. I tried to tell her I didn't do it put she was not listening. We did buy 1 Tommy Bahama item but, we will NEVER return. read more

Am very upset. I ordered a coach bag and was told to pick nit up on sunday. Got there to the store and was told the order had not arrived, to come back on monday between 11-4:30. I have them extra day and called on Tuesday to pick and I was told the order is not there and was not sure when it will arrive. this is a birthday present for crying out loud. What's the big Dill with this place? This shiny new Dillard's is down in Pearland and it's usually not too busy. We've been in here 3 times and counting. The stuff is expensive and not really to the taste of Barbie and I - but we have browsed through here on a couple of occasions and it's not a bad store with pretty friendly employees. Tried to return a brand new shirt which was $100. I had never worn it. They demanded it be in unused condition, which means to them that a tag must still be on the shirt which is never mentioned on their instructions on the back of the receipt I did bring a receipt in, so I left the shirt with them because for $100 shirt my size it fits very poorly. The manager proceeded to interpret what unused condition meant which is never stated anywhere. read more

I went into the Pearland store looking for a few shirts and the sales associate, Cecilia was great. She helped me find the sizes I needed and the colors I was looking for. Sometimes the sales people tend to hover over you but she was knew the right balance. Very impressed with her and will be returning to shop here again! read more

Literally just bought a Gucci cologne not even 19 hours ago and the guy accidentally gave me the wrong one but I didn't know until I opened the package.When I came by the next day to try to return it they said I couldn't return cause it wasn't in the original packaging.when the manager came by to say I couldn't return it she just gave me the side eye and straight up ignore me and the employee she literally so unprofessional and just continued with her conversation just because I look young this was my first time here at this location and I don't even live around the area I just drove an hour just to get rejected I was really considering of making big purchases but I guess I just have to take my money else where and this experience literally explains why it was 2 freaking stars never coming back! read more

Poor customer service. I returned a pair of shoes, paid part gift card and part debit card. The sales lady argue that I couldn't get my partial cash back. She wanted to give me full refund on a gift card. She was very annoyed when I told her it could be done. Overall, most of the ladies in the shoe department are unprofessional and do not help the customer. They looked bother when reaching out to them. read more

Worst customer service ever! Especially for a Dillard's. I came to return a top that I bought last minute, took it back because I decided I didn't like it. I couldn't find anybody to help me. Finally found somebody In the makeup section to help. She got half way through the transaction and said "oh wait, I can't do returns I'll get yelled at." And started screaming through the store for another associate. The other associate came over and helped and the immediate response out of her mouth where" why did you take tag off the blouse". I said to her because I thought I was going to wear it?". I didn't realize it was a crime to return a blouse that you didn't like or realized didn't fit. Geez. Just not your average Dillard's expectation of friendly customer service. Will stick to shopping in clear lake. read more

This is a really nice Dillard's! It's a standalone store, its technically in a "mall" but its not connected to any other store. There is a total of 4 entrances, that's how big this store is. We went in the entrance in the back which is like luggage and home items. We had to walk to the other side of the store to get to the women's purse section. I wasn't sure which entrance we were going to need. I went solely for one item, a new purse! I had my eyes on a Michael Kors Voyager bag. It was really marked down to a great price at another Dillard's. I wasn't ready to purchase it then, though. So, I hoped when I was ready to purchase, that this Dillard's would have it. Lucky me because they had it and they had three colors to choose from. There were several women in the MK section so I knew I had to act quick. I was kinda leaning towards the burgundy colored one but my heathen children loved the green one. So, I got the green one! I'm ready to check out and the purse rang up for even cheaper than what the sale price said Winning! read more

Have been using the Estee Laudder double wear foundation for years and I was running out so decided to go buy one before it actually finished since I saw the gift bag special for Mother's Day. I go to the Estee Laudder section and the girl that is there was helping an older white lady, she gave her what she purchased plus some freebies and the gift bag. When my turn comes she just gave me what I purchased and my receipt. When I asked for the gift bag she said the lady took the last one. I left but called back with a different "accent" asking if the Beautiful Magnolia perfume was in stock she asked me if I wanted the small or big one I said the big one she said they did have it in stock and I would get a gift bag with the purchase. I told her "I was literally there right now and you told me you didn't have any more bags" she started stuttering and said that she was seeing the display bag being taken off if I wanted it. I went back and she even asked me which one I wanted since she got caught and kept asking me if the foundation I had bought was for my self. If I'm buying it is because I can obviously afford it. But from what it seemed she was just picking and choosing who should get the gift bags and apparently a 26 year old Hispanic was not on her list. FOH. read more

I went into the store today to purchase a winter coat. I found a Ralph Lauren coat that I really liked but it did not have a price tag. After having several sales associates search in store and online with no luck, a manager named Bryce came to assist with locating the price. One of the sales associates informed him that she had taken in the jacket as a return and proceeded to locate what I thought was the sales price. When he returned he gave me the price and ask if I wanted to buy it, I ask if the price was the sales price and he responded by saying it's the price we are selling it for today. I was taken back by the response and should have known that he was up to something when he showed something to the clerks that I was told was an internal thing. Against my better judgement, I purchased the coat and left the store. When I got to my car the transaction wasn't settled in my mind so I did an internet search and discovered the jacket was being sold at Macys for $123.00 and he was charging me $297.00. I immediately went back into the store to return the coat and discuss the discrepancy in price. When the ticket was scanned a different coat appeared on the screen. When I requested to speak with the store manager, she was to busy to see me. After this experience I will not be shopping a Dillards anymore. read more

My review is really probably not very fair since I was on a mission to find a pair of shoes in between appointments. I stopped in and made my way to the shoe department. The chica behind the register asked if I needed help so I told her what I wanted. She basically only suggested one pair of shoes for me, but they weren't right for my cocktail dress. She really didn't even want to come out from behind the register, but she did. Why you ask ... well ... Surprisingly, she was wearing jeans and a somewhat dressy shirt. Never have I seen a Dillard's employee dressed in jeans!! They are almost always dressed in some sort of business suit!! I need to stick to shopping in Clear Lake since the selection seems to be much better than in Pearland! I'm not sure why that is?! read more

Lousy service, I walked into the store and I could not find any sales associate to help me out or gave me a greeting. I had one sales associate come up to me and ask me if I been eating french fries because she said she smelled french fries so otherwords she was telling me I smelled like french fries and all I could think of is how rude and what kind of people do they have working in this store. Now I know why I hardley go into a Dillards anymore. Rude rude service by the only sales associate that did knowledge me. All I wanted to do was go into the store and look for a dress for a funeral. It was a real disappointment after a long miserable week of 2 deaths in my family in 2 days. read more

Just plain horrible service. I was doing some shopping in multiple areas of the men's department and was never approached for assistance. After looking at some shirts I grabbed 2 different styles of dress shoes right in front of 2 employees and still not a word! I was really disappointed with the customer service in the shoe department. went there to buy a pair of shoes and found out they were damaged.the only other shoes that were like that were at a Dillard's in Sugar land.I asked the manager if she could give me a 5% discount and I would buy the shoe's there. She stated that she could not and that she would prefer to turn the shoe's back in and get a full credit to her store.How sad.This was a $3.50 discount.I ended up going to Dillard's in Sugar land and made the purchase.They were excellent .I will be shopping there from now on. read more
