I had a great experience at Dillards- Pier Park. I was in the market for new makeup and Ashley and Jaclyn at the Lancôme counter were so patient & helpful. Unfortunately they could not find my shade in the Teinte Idol foundation, so they made two samples for me to take home & try out. I am so disappointed my shade was not available, but I walked away smiling and feeling good nonetheless. That is what good customer service does! read more

I've been a loyal Dillard's customer for decades. My first job at age 16 (in 1971) was at Cain-Sloan in Nashville as a stockboy. Cain-Sloan was acquired by Dillard's many years ago and I've always enjoyed shopping at Dillard's due to the high level of service. Here's my disappointment - I went to the Pier Park Dillard's in Panama City Beach on October 31st to buy a saute pan and there were a couple of options on display. There were no employees in sight and after waiting at the checkout station for 10+ minutes I left without making a purchase. There's a Bed Bath and Beyond across the street and I found what I needed and quickly made a purchase. There's no secret retailers are having staffing issues and pushing for the lower transaction cost that comes with online sales. If you're going to open your doors, please be better prepared to provide a reasonable level of service. read more

The Service at Dillards usually good. Most of the time I have a good experience BUT I've been coming to this Dillards for 7 long years (because you're always able to find something to wear of quality and it's a small Dillards. I finally visited Customer service because of my ongoing frustration about having to always put in your email address when using the same visa card that you purchased with . Other Dillards (Texas and California Dillards) once you've ordered there or once you've purchased an item your email address will pop up and this saves time and frustration by having to put in your cheaters on the insert your email address. I asked the supervisor Debbie in Management to help me understand why it is that my email address does not come up during the process even though I've ordered online registered on Dillards.com and receive emails on sales items me and I shop so much here. Debbie (the manager ) was unable to give me an answer. . She continued to make excuses and not understand their system and told me that my card should bring up my email address so I videoed the experience showed it to Debbie and once again, it did not work. Prior to this, I also wanted to exchange a medium for a small and thought I was going to keep but didn't save the receipt nor bothered to put my email address for a receipt in the system, because I was sure I was keeping the item , Debbie refused my request, and had they been able to pull up my receipt with my credit card this would not be the case . Poor Miss management of their system . I'm sorry to say that I probably will not shop here as much any longer.. I hope Dillards can correct their email system and their return system. This Dillards had a great sale when I was there for a trip. I purchased items for less than five dollars. I'm a travel agent and I booked a trip to Panama City for the Sea Breeze Jazz Fest. It was very near the festival location in Pier Park. read more

This store located in Simon mall plaza. Simon owns many malls around the country. Difference between this mall and some other malls is that each business located in separate building. Even if some buildings connected you can't go from one building to another on inside. you have to walk outside first. It's not that bed when weather is good. but we came when there was a lot of rain and it makes it problematic to go from store to store. Also it's Panama City. During summer it is hot. And usually it's nice that you can hide inside mall well not in this case. I shop a lot in dillards. specially in shoes section. This particular store has good collection for shoes and as usual so much more. employees is ready and willing to help. I like how well they are dressed and theyr support is too notch. It's nice that they have specialists in all different departments and when you are looking for particular item you know that you have someone who can help you. We visited Dillards during the week when it was raining so place was not busy at all and we had ability to talk to personal a lot. Would come back here any time. I had a horrible experience at this Dillards. As a customer, I called with a question for the store manager, an unfriendly woman named Becky, who talked over me while we were on the phone and eventually hung up on me while I was still talking. She was loud and very rude. I have no idea how someone with such horrible customer service skills has managed to become a store manager. The store employees are all about reaching sales goals and will only be inclined to help you if you have a lot to purchase. Even then, no one seems very enthusiastic about helping you. It's just an unpleasant feeling all around that store. Just head to the Dillards on the other side of the bridge and spend your time there. read more

I went shopping with my 7 year old granddaughter. She's a shoe loving girl. We went to the shoe department for children. Which has a fabulous selection by the way. We had a sales associate named Kimberly. She was AMAZING! Dillards give this lady a raise. She was so sweet, attentive and patient with my granddaughter. So there was no way we were leaving without a pair of beautiful shoes. Well done Dillards on hiring Kimberly. We will be back every chance we get. read more

I don't think the store is very big, but it has a nice selection of items. I usually don't shop in Dillards when I'm at home, but when I'm on vacation I check it out. It always seems hit or miss for me. The staff has always been nice and helpful if I've needed it. Can't really complain about them too much, just not one of my favorite stores. read more

Carmen, at the CLINIQUE counter, was a life saver for my wedding day yesterday! I came to her for some Dramatically Different moisturizer. I was down from GA to get married and left it behind. Carmen didn't just sell me moisturizer and send me on my way! This sweet lady sat me down and proceeded to apply make-up, full face. She did an amazing job and made me feel beautiful. She turned my day completely around. I had just sprained my ankle an hour prior and was moving slow! She procured ice for it and kept it elevated for me. She most certainly went above and beyond anything I expected. Thank you, Carmen!! read more

Agree with Diane W, I was trawling round shoes with money to burn for swanky new boots, Do you have a 5 in this I said, No she said, well do you have a 5 in this I said, No she said, come on guys tell me you might have a small 6 or something in 5. It took me ages to get someone to talk to me Then I walked away. Next stop jewelry, sure the one attendant was packing for someone else but no wave or nod or I will be with you in a minute just chitter chat with the other person even though she saw me, five minutes later.. I went to the Macy's counter on free lipstick day, with the intention of also spending money. While I was waiting to get my free lipstick, a sales associate (Not a Mac person. A tall, blonde, older woman, wearing all white) yelled "who needs to purchase something". I called her over and told her specifically what I wanted to buy. She tells me I have to wait, turns around and walks away, only to yell "anyone want to buy anything" again. So, I approach her again and tell her again that I want to buy something. She says "Other people want to buy things, too." And just turns away. I just left and purchased online. Worst salesperson ever. read more
