Unlike the Chas outlet mall this place has good stores that sell articles of quality not just the rejects I found at the Chas outlet mall that is destined to close just because of that. This place has a lot of traffic and it will be here for a long time, I will come and visit every time I am in the area. The deals ranged from 15-20% and half of the items were over $100 at every single store, which defeats the purpose of an outlet mall. We have been going to this outlet mall for many years now. It is a great day to take a break from the beach, and get a great walk in and enjoy some great stores. We purchased several pairs of shoes from Adidas, Sketchers, and Puma, two bags from Kate Spade, and several other items from other stores. We had lunch at Whataburger across the street, and then went back to hit more stores. It's a great area to shop. Plenty of parking, and all of the stores are air-conditioned and employee really nice people. We will be back. read more

A very huge shopping center in Miramar Beach not far from Destin. They have just about every store you could possibly name. There is a lot of parking so you should have no trouble. My friend and I came here twice. We only walked half the place one time and another. We visited Old Navy, Pac-sun, Silt Life, Nike, Coach, Michael Kors, Disney and many other places I can't remember the names of. My reason for 3 stars, you do have a lot of choices but it's what they had that I just wasn't impressed. My only good finds were a pair of Reeboks I got on sale and a Coach wristlet which was already on sale in the store but, got an additional 15 percent off so I got an almost $80 wristlet for just under $30. Not bad right? My friend left empty handed both times. I do love a good bargain however a few of these stores were basically pricing the same as they would their regular retail stores. They had their discounts however, most of it would be no different than shopping at the regular store. Another reason not a lot of places to sit down and have a meal, just the sugary places you probably find in a mall, don't want to be loaded with sugar and then go back to shopping. There was Whataburger and other places across the street. I would most definitely come back when visiting Destin. Just hope to find some better sales next time around. read more

This is a nice outdoor, outlet mall in Destin. We like to visit here when we're in the area. I love that this mall has a Disney store. I was able to buy a couple Christmas gifts that I wouldn't have been able to find in my own city. I liked that they still had signs up encouraging social distancing and wearing masks. Some of the stores like Polo, Puma, and others were actually limiting the number of people that were allowed their business. I think that was smart. I'm sure we'll be back. read more

Sadly, I have noticed the quality of this outlet mall has decreased over the years. While I don't make it to Destin too often, in the past, we would drop over here to take a break from the sun or if there was a rainstorm. I remember about 5 years ago, I nearly broke my budget with all the amazing finds. This past week, I ventured over to Silver Sands a little late in the day as I arrived to the region a little later than expected. The website states it is open until 8, but due to "staffing issues," many stores are closing at 7 without notice. Also, several stores do not have dressing rooms open again claiming staffing issues. I understand this could also be due to prolonged Covid precautions, but I wish they would state this when you enter the stores rather than after you grab several items. I was able to go to a few stores, but the quality wasn't that great at any of them, or the prices were on par with their regular stores. Additionally, the quality was just not as I was expecting. I wish I would have had more time to explore, but many of the stores I was interested in were closing at 7. I'm sure had I been able to arrive earlier, I may have found more that i was interested in, but it just was not my day for it. read more

This seems like an old Outlet Mall. The "Sale prices" are the same prices I left in my hometown on a regular day LOL. Most of the stores I visited were empty, I'm guessing the economy is slow right now. Tons of parking space in front of stores. The area surrounding the Outlet is super busy with cars and traffic. read more

I lived in Destin when phase 1 and 2 were built and worked in Sunglass Hut and a couple stores that are now out of business. I've watched this property grow and at one point was a great shopping destination. I think since C*ViD it has gone downhill. We all knew these stores weren't "true" outlets, but even more so now. It seems to be all shoe stores and a few mediocre clothing stores. The property is looking run down, many of the stores have a foul odor, some stores have broken A/C, and odd hours. If it is raining while you're at the beach, it's worth a look, but don't waste a sunny day in this place. read more

The outlet is located in the panhandle of Florida. It is near Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City and Pensacola. Silver Sands is located on US Highway 98, not far from the Sandestin Resort. It is an outdoor mall, but has covered sidewalks. There is no real food court, so the food options at or near the mall include Carrabba's, Panera Bread, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, and the Rocky Chocolate Mountain Factory. There are several places to sit outside and eat (small tables with 2 chairs). The restrooms were clean and in working order. There are many of the usual outlet stores here, like Nike, Polo, and Coach....but there are a few that you won't see everywhere else, like Disney, North Face, and Converse. Be sure to check in at the outlet to earn a free coupon book. read more

This was a nice big outlet. We went to most the stores but for labor day weekend there was not much of a "sale" like the signs stated. All prices for most stores seemed the same as shopping at home not at outlet stores. Hard to find the restrooms - there are no signs to direct you to them. The $5 coupon voucher is for VIP members and military, which is fine because I have a military card, but should be stated when you see the coupon so people don't waste their time. Glad I checked in when coming to shop. The information center is a bit out of the way, but it wasn't too difficult to find. The staff wore mask and they were helpful. read more

Great ride from the NOLA. Always a sale going on at one or more of the stores. Definitely a treat, even for someone like me who DOESN'T like to shop #shesagirlBUTNOTashopper. Lots of high end & moderately priced stores. And unlike other outlet malls, you can ACTUALLY see lots of sales, savings & discounts. It may seem overwhelming & non-ending when you first start, but you should grab a map & chart your course. Pace yourself. I like that there's a food court/area of sorts, rehydration & vittles are necessary when taking on shopping feats of this nature. I also love that you can sign up for a coupon booklet online to save ADDITIONAL monies. #barginshopperswelcome. Not every store has sales, but the ones that do... OMGOSH!!! Some of the stores: Saks off the 5th... Coach... Michael Kors... Asics... North Face (relatively new)... Banana Republic... Adidas... Kenneth Cole... Nike... Dooney & Burke... Swarovski... Zales... Cole Haan... Polo... Nike... You get the picture. The outlet is actually a STRIP MALL; therefore you have to exit one store to enter another & vice versa... In & out the heat is the only down fall. Warning: You will blow your money! There deals all over from NIKE to Ralph Lauren POLO even GNC Nutrition. I've visited over a dozen times and have never seen just below regular pricing. It's always waaaaay below. The Nike Store has a lot NIKE Pro not just the base sports gear. I racked up at The GNC Nutrition because on top of the outlet prices I was allowed to use my Pro Membership. I clean up lol! I can only give it a four star because I didn't get a food court for such a big outlet. read more

This is for Old Navy only- My mom was told by a sales associate that she would receive 50% off her purchase if she signed up for an Old Navy credit card. My mom thought she misheard her so she asked her to clarify and she repeated that she would receive 50% off her purchase. So, my mom's purchase was totaled to $177 and I , my niece, who was with us and her (my mom) stood there while the same associate took my mother ID, address and email information then my mom entered her social security number twice. Once the machine buffered and updated the total went from $177 to $170 and I literally laughed out loud. (I want to also mention that as we were standing at our register both my niece and I overheard the associate next to us tell a lady she was assisting that she would get 60% off if she applied for a credit card)... My mom looked at our sales associate and said "you said it would be 50% off" and the sales associate replied "oh that's only if you're approved immediately." I was so taken back by the fact that she lied to my mom that I was lost for words. My mom told her that she lied and all she replied was "I'm sorry." At the time there was nothing we could do but I guess I'm just writing this as a warning to other people. Luckily my mom is retired and doesn't care too much about the hit that her credit is going to take when she cancels her card but if it were anyone else I would feel bad as the employee that just straight up LIED to an innocent customer just to meet my employers quota for credit card sign ups. So Sarah, the employee that lied to my mom and probably several others, I'd appreciate if you would include the fine print the next time you think you want to trick a person into applying for a credit card. read more

Stopped at the Jockey Store. Buy two packs of Boxer underwear and get one free = 6 pair for $43.00. RIDICULOUS. Drove 2 miles to Walmart (store I normally detest) and bought a package of Hanes Boxers - 7 pair for $17.00 including tax. Silver Sands PREMIUM Outlet must refer the PRICING. read more

Wow what a great selection of outlet stores. We must have timed it right because I loaded up on men's clothes off of the clearance racks including my first ever pairs of Allen Edmonds. The construction and traffic to and fro were a bit of a headache but we found lots of great bargains. read more

Get rid of the masks!!!!!!! At least make them optional. Michael Kors, Coach and Kate Spade are militant about masks! How do they know I don't have a medical condition that precludes me from wearing one? Needless to say I'm not wearing one and will not spend my money in those stores. Silver Sands is the very first outlet mall I've ever been to. It's been around for a while and it's always a stop we make (if not the only destination) en route to Destin. It has all my favorite outlet/factory shop options: from J Crew to Banana Republic and Nike, there's something for everybody (and everything for me). The mall is huge with plenty of parking. Although it has those usual off-brand food stops, Silver Sands also has a Starbucks (in the parking lot) and Mrs. Fields cookies. There's a small playground in the center of the mall - I still remember playing in it when I was younger. Silver Sands holds quite a few nostalgic memories for me - it's not the best outlet mall I've ever been to, but it's still got all the shops I really need. read more

Manager (appeared to be and acted like he was) was extremely rude. He didn't have his mask on and had around his neck but grumbled about people in the store not wearing their mask. He walked to the storeroom in the back of the store and complained aloud for folks to hear about people gathering and not wearing masks, despite him not wearing one). Seemed to be plenty of social distancing going on from what we could tell. Had nobody ask if they could help. Guess he was mad that Under Armour and Converse had lines to get in their store and he did not. read more
