We visited here last year during my Spring Break and I'm looking forward to returning in a few weeks! We came specifically to ride the SkyWheel but there were lots of colorful stores and restaurants to visit as well. There were plenty of parking places to choose from. The view from the SkyWheel was amazing! Pro Tip: Buy your tickets online. I think there was a promotion that included admission to other attractions at the park that ultimately saves you money. When in Panama City Beach, stopping by here is a must!

If you want a break from the beach, it's worth a stroll - but largely populated with chain restaurants and stores. Not much unique to be found here.

Here the badge the securty was wearing when he called to tow my car. We live in the US. It should identfy Pier Park Security

They towed 30 cars during the military air show. I paid $200 cash only to retrieve my car. No signs, no yellow or red lines. Nothing. The next day I filmed a spotter calling White's towing to tow my car again. I asked the security guy who was in his personal vehicle why did he call to get my car towed. He got very belligerent and I filmed him cussing at me . I complained to the management and they said they should have had signs there. Their GM Mrs. Beavers said they are not refunding any money. Pier Park does not care about their community. Watch where you park. They have an agreement with White's towing to tow cars for extra money. Mrs Beavers as GM doesn't car about you or the community either. The GM Mrs Beavers and her staff do not care. I will never support Pier Park. Also 3 hours to get out there after an event. They don't know how to handle events either. Read reviews. Don't go there spend your money more wisely.

Pier was beautiful and I had a great time. There were so many people and it definitely took away from the experience. $4 entrance fee. Lots of people fishing and they were catching little fish.

Great place to walk around. The stores and food options are not special and the Ferris wheel was closed for a private event with no notice.

Pier Park is a very popular spot in PCB! Tourists everywhere!! This area consists of many shops , restaurants and the beach!! We specifically came here to visit the beach. It was very cloudy and rained the day we were here. We didn't get to stay long due to the weather. The beach is really pretty and we enjoyed the time we were here on the golden sands! Parking lot nearby and accessible to the beach!

Definitely a big tourist attraction in PCB. My friend apparently never has been to PCB which shocked but, even I never been to Pier Park myself and it had been 10 years since I been to PCB. We came here for a whole different purpose, more on that shortly. Parking will definitely be a challenge, plan accordingly. We just got lucky. We got to do a lot of walking and explored many shops. I definitely liked the candy store Called I love Sugar, they are definitely creative with their products. I can't do much sweet stuff anymore but, it was cool to see. There are also quite a few places to choose from to eat at, we definitely didn't know there was a Dicks Last Resort there, had we not made plans to eat elsewhere we probably would've went there. There is also a Back Porch and Pompano Joes Location sister to Destin locations there. We checked out the Pepper Palace where you can sample different hot sauces. I shouldn't have gotten too adventurous, I did end up overpaying for a vending machine drink. Now to the reasoning for being there, other than going to a restaurant and other places in PC/PCB. I had learned that there is a bench for Shirley's Way with Shirley Mulrooneys name on it just across the way from Pier Park. As many from back home in Louisville Kentucky May know, Shirley's Way is an organization that raises money to help cancer patients pay their bills. I did get my picture taken with the bench and that to me was an honor. I have my own story of a loved one I lost to cancer but, I won't share that on this review, you can reach out to me personally. The whole purpose of coming to Pier Park was for Shirley Mulrooney and her bench, apparently you can have a bench placed on the pier with a loved ones name on it which I think is cool and a great way to honor someone. Afterwards, we walked the beach of PCB. Just as beautiful and the water is just as cold as Destin beaches. Pier Park has everything for everyone of all ages. I would definitely recommend avoiding this place during Spring Break. We came after but, I'm sure it's crazy during Spring Break.

Pier park is a massive outlet mall that feels like it takes up Practically half of Panama City beach. The outlet mall has all of your normal mall heavyweights and mainstays. It has a few trendy Restaurants and bars. Several ice cream shops (I counted at least 4), local beach shops, an outdoor activities that features axe throwing, trampoline bungee and a massive Skywheel. On our vacation we found ourselves at pier park almost daily or nightly either shopping, playing, eating or filling our sweet tooth at the ice cream shops here. Parking surrounds the whole place so plenty of spots. That said the place is supper popular and very crowded. Especially at night. So you may do some walking from the parking spots. Overall very nice outlet mall with plenty to do and see. A nice Change up from spending all day at the beach and pool.

Lots of stores and restaurants, definitely fun to walk around and do some shopping. I can only imagine this place during the summer. Lots of photo opportunities. I will definitely come back.

Ask the Community - Pier Park

Is this place good for people that hate shopping? I have to appease my other 1/2 that loves shopping.

There Is a movie theater, a fishing pier if you like to fish. There are numerous restaurants where you could sit outside and people watch. There is Dave and Busters if you like to play games. Coffee shops and ice cream places. I enjoy shopping with…

My issue is with being upfront and transparent about the price/product. $4 for a 32 oz. fountain drink is not what most people would consider a reasonable price. Especially when that price isn't clearly communicated beforehand. I understand this is a vacation area and that prices are generally higher and people expect to pay more. What bothered me was feeling blindsided by the price after the fact. It's similar to advertising something as a fountain drink but then charging separately for refills. I understand the business model and I'm not saying a business shouldn't do it. Just be upfront about it so customers can make an informed choice. I also understand that policies like this may have come about because people were staying for long periods without spending additional money. That's the business's decision to make. But the price and refill policy should be clearly communicated rather than leaving customers to find out after ordering. I'm not trying to be overly critical. What bothered me most was the response from the business, which seemed to downplay the concern and make it sound like this was a completely normal or expected practice. Regardless of whether other businesses do it (which no other business on 30A does this), I think customers have a legitimate reason to be surprised by a $4 for a fountain drink, only to find out it's just 32 oz.

It was light, airy, very comfortable, and tastefully decorated throughout. The furnishings were clearly well thought out, from the sofas and tables to the dining area and large kitchen island. The lighting made the home feel bright and welcoming. The house was well equipped for a weeklong stay, with sheets, towels, and essentials provided. The only minor issue was the ice maker, which produced very little ice, so we had to buy bags nearby. The screened-in front porch was a highlight, especially the swinging sofa, which we used daily for coffee and relaxing evenings. The included golf cart was a major plus and essentially necessary, since there is no direct beach access. We used it to reach Deer Lake State Park, which was beautiful and inexpensive to enter. Our main disappointment was that the rental did not include access to WaterSound Club pools or private beach facilities. The available pools were crowded and geared toward young children, which didn't suit our family. Nearby The Big Chill was convenient but very busy and not very clean during our visit. We enjoyed exploring nearby 30A communities, but parking was often difficult and Uber rides were more expensive than expected. Overall, the home itself was excellent--comfortable, stylish, and well maintained. Most drawbacks relate to the broader WaterSound area rather than the property. We had a great family week and really enjoyed staying at 10 Federal Street.
