I came into the store looking for spanx & make up. Lancome rep was Nora and she knew exactly what to get me for liquid foundation. She gave me a sample to bring home to make sure it's the one that matches my skin tone. Spanx section I was greeted by Roxy. This girl went above & beyond for me. I have to update because Dillard's has been given me lots of happiness lately. Two weekends ago Eric R. told me he needed new dress shirts, so we went over to Dillard's which was having a big sale. The gentleman who helped us was extremely patient, unpinning fitted shirts to help Eric R. find ones that would be perfect and professional. We were successful with 4 dress shirts, one of which was Hugo Boss and on major sale. Eric R. determined he loved the quality of Boss and told me to get more of these if I found them on sale in his size. Last weekend I went by the Fashion Show location and acquired 3 more shirts, now on even better sale, in the Boss slim fit line. Eric R. liked 2 of the 3, so I decided to return the shirt to the Galleria location after work yesterday that he didn't like. I happened to be wearing a gorgeous Cezanne necklace from Dillard's yesterday and noticed on my way out of work that a teardrop shaped rhinestone was missing from the floral charm in the middle of the necklace - I was so bummed and decided to see if the jewelry department could get me the info on Cezanne (a house designer) so I could get a replacement stone. Instead, the jewelry department staff (who I have received great help from previously) took a Cezanne earring from the clearance rack, took a gem out of the earring and put it in my necklace, a perfect fit! They did not charge me for this and just put the earring in the "damage pile." The associate carefully taped the gem to my necklace and recommended I glue it down when I get home. I cannot believe the quick and easy reaction to make sure I left happy and able to keep the necklace - it was really outstanding service. read more

I am originally from California so when I moved to Nevada, I was quite surprised to hear of Dillards. I would have to say that Dillards is comparable to a Nordstrom/Bloomingdales. They offer sales storewide and sell affordable to high-end products. This is a regular shopping mall like no other; nothing too special to boast about. One tip that I have to mention is that they do like to close many of their doors 5 minutes before they close. They'll leave one door open until closing so don't let that deceive you! I've been here on both weekdays and weekends and usually the store is pretty empty. The salespeople are often just standing there with nothing to do. Lastly, Dillards only allows 3 items into the fitting room at a time so choose sparingly! Happy shopping! read more

It really should be 0! First of all, Dillard's employees are forced to push these unsavory credit cards on their customers; it's an endless bombardment from every department while you're trying to shop. Then they mislead you, so you sign up: I was told that it wasn't American Express and Wells Fargo, which are both absolutely horrid corporations when it comes to deceptive practices and taking money from their customers. Then this so-called low APR is a falsehood, even on their webpage; it's not 30%, it's a whopping 38%, and I have a 750 credit score with 24 years of credit history! So after opening that unfavorable card because the employee was persistent beggar, I regretted it immediately and closed it within 4 months. And I am sure they will lower my credit rating now because of that, but I would rather not give my business to liars. Now about overall store: the sunset mall owned by some shady family that will not give traditional sells that actual Dillard run meaning you can only get sells when online shopping! Store is always short on common sizes so do yourself a favor and try things in the store if u can find it size and then order it online with sale price, return it to store if it doesn't fit bcz their sizes often wrong and large will run small or small will run large even in same brand. And just tell employees that u have already their stupid card so they will leave u alone! read more

Walked into Dillard's and had an amazing experience at first we walked in while they were setting up a 1.99 table full of Halloween decorations so we immediately knew we scored and grabbed everything lol then we we off to get what we really came for when we left they informed us any other department we checked out at will have to contact that department and ask for blah blah. so that is what we did and we got the rudest response, when we told her this she said that is their job you need to take this back for them do to their job we were like ugh we are sorry could you just call it's at the back of the mall where we started shopping no they need to do their job. I complained again and she finally Got ahold of them and discounted my few things and sent my friend back over to the department for her one item because it no longer had a tag but we had the same thing she could have scanned twice I gave it two stars because I did end up with some cool things but if it wasn't for my friend I would have put everything back and just left it with her at the register read more

Has anyone been to Dillard's on the 1st of Jan? OMG it was a hot mess at Sunset...I picked out 8 different shoes and stand in line for 25 minutes to get the size. The lady was helping 2 people at the same time. I was size 6 the other customer behind me was size 6.5. She disappeared for 20 mins came back with nothing for me!!! Sale associate are you sure none of these shoes are available in size 6???? It's just 1pm and you opened at 9?? I am giving them three stars because at the fashion show was worst of the line... I guess I will just go on other promotions day!!! Basically this was shoes department alone. I don't even want to review about other departments... Don't waste your energy there people...if the sale associate will not meet you half way when you already spent time looking for the shoes in a messy pile... Then waited in line just to get the size. We do not have Dillard's in Hawaii. They are comparable to Macy's. My sister told me that on New Years Day there is a huge sale on all of the Christmas decorations etc. We decided to go and check it out. GOOD GRIEF!!!! It was Black FRIDAY madness all over again but just for Christmas stuff. The sale was anywhere from 65%-80% off. People were going crazy in there. There were these two ladies who had two boxes full of decorations and had 3 boxes of Christmas trees. Geez they have enough to decorate their house for the whole year. They have enough for about ten houses sheesh. Standing in line was not the best thing since we were stuck in line for two hours. I'm glad that I walked away with 10 ornaments for $13. I don't know if I will be able to harbor that madness again. Workers were really nice and seemed really calm with the madness going around in the store. read more

I don't think I've actually ever purchased something directly from Dilliard's. But, I tend to frequent this location because it is home to the MAC store in Henderson. So I can only provide 4 stars based off of the ample parking, the store being easily accessible and the fact that they have both a MAC and Kiehl's store inside. Pretty amazing. read more

Okay, there are a ton of places to shop and I really like Dillards... a. Parking - Strip Mall, plenty of parking here and close by all the doors. b. Location - Very easy to get to. c. Service - This is an exemplary part of Dillards. All service staff are top quality, willing to help and make you feel like you are very special. d. Products - Have you seen how many sales staff they have in women's shoes? You will never go without service here. They have all the best products If you want top end product, they have it here! e. Prices - Here is where they suffer a bit. Prices tend to be high as an offset to choice and quality. That is what you pay for. I like coming here and will continue to come here, however, for the deals, I would go to Macy's. read more

I have bought tons of things at this Dillard's location. When you hit it right, the clearance racks have crazy sales. I have gotten nice blazers for under twenty dollars. I also got a coach purse for $27 a few weeks ago. Can't beat that! The level of service really varies by department. In the clothing, handbag, or jewelry section, workers are quick to offer help. However, the housewares/bedding section leaves a bit to be desired. It's like I have to hunt someone down and beg them to ring me up. Still, I like Dillard's more than the other department stores. I feel like I get more for my money here. read more

I walked in and went straight to the kitchen department looking for a cake plate. They did have some but none of them were quite what I was looking for. Julie (I think that was her name) was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help me find a cake plate. She did sell me on their awesome cookbook. Only $10! and awesome recipes for the Christmas season and very easy instructions as well. I made off with a Bunn, MyCafe' 4-in-1 Coffee/Tea maker. This is an awesome piece of machinery and usually retails for about $150. I got it for $56!!! TOTAL WIN!!! read more

First off I want to say I LOVED Dillard's. I shopped there all the time. However, after my experience today I have to say I will not be back. They have definitely lost me as a loyal customer. I was there last weekend and I found some super cute boots on sale but they were still more than I wanted to spend so I didn't buy them. Last night I was thinking about the boots again and I went online to show my husband... online they were 29.99 instead of 48.99! I knew I had to have them. Since Dillard's does not offer free pickup in store I decided to go back to my store to see if they were still there. Sure enough they were! I took them up to the counter and asked for a price check since the 48 tag was still on them. They confirmed the price had not changed. I showed them the product on their website and asked them to ask the manager to price match their website. Without any other info the manager on the phone said no and they ended the call. Shocked I asked to speak to him. So in stead of coming down he called back again. After telling the manager Mike that I wanted to talk to him in person he told them he was at a fashion show with all the other managers and I had to wait. About 10 mins later he comes up and tells me he can't do it and takes the shoes away from me on the counter and puts them behind the counter with him... umm super rude! He told me Dillard's.com and Dillard's are not the same thing. He didn't want to price match or offer to order online for me to the store for free shipping... this is absolutely horrible customer service... then to take to product away from me? Did he think I was going to steal them? Dillard's watch the camera footage... it's all at the register in the shoes department. I'm shocked Dillard's is willing to lose a customer over 20 bucks... I could be petty and order these shoes online with something else to get free shipping with an order over $150 then return the unwanted item to Dillard's for a refund but that's too much... also crazy how I can buy on Dillard's.com and return to Dillard's in store yet they are different places... hmm something isn't right here. read more

I've scored some fantastic designer bags here and I have never paid retail prices. Their New Year's Day sale is crazy but if you're brave you can get the deal of the century. I was there recently and there was a sale, I got a $399 Brahmin purse for $100!!! On Memorial Day I found a $199 Coach wallet for $49. What's better than that for someone with a serious addiction like I have???? The sales people are friendly and helpful, even when they're crazy busy, the lines move quick. Let me tell you about my friend Tim. He works in the Women's Shoes department and he has changed my life by fitting me in the best shoes possible. I'm a bartender, always on my feet and he introduced me to Dansko. I've had these shoes for almost two years now and am ready to head in for a new pair as I'm craving a new look. The shoes are still going strong and my back pain has nearly vanished! It's amazing what an impact a shoe can make on your life! The last time I saw him, I cried. I was still working, 8 months pregnant and do you know I cried out of pure gratitude and joy for his help. He kept me comfortable throughout my whole pregnancy while working. What a guy. Was walking through the store and saw a nice G-Shock watch. Purchased it, went home and attempted to set the watch. After an hour of screwing with the watch I called Casio. The girl on the other end attempted to help me to setup the watch. Unfortunately, it turns out that she informed me of a low battery. Which was why the watch wasn't allowing me to set it properly. I don't know how long items in Dillards are sitting around in there but BUYER BEWARE. Thank you Dillards for wasting my gas and my time. All I needed to do was exchange a dress that was too small for my daughter. I had the tags and the receipt. I clearly stated that I needed to EXCHANGE a GIFT. The representative returned the funds back to the original cc and then proceeded to be completely helpless to cancel the transaction. 30 minutes later...I just paid for the dress with my own card because my daughter got the original for her b-day and I didn't want her to miss out on her gift. I shop Dillard's often. I just pick a day and go and enter thru the doors near the womens shoe dept. Men have been sitting in the vestibule between the double doors smoking for hours. Smoking when I arrive and smoking when I depart...same person. I'm in the store for 3-4 hours so this seems very odd. It's not very busy thru the week so this location relies on weekend and holiday sale business. I started to browse the shoes and the clerk said "are you having fun"? Instead of "may I help you"? Then she walked away and formed a circle with the other clerks and they let out a big howl. I did end up finding 2 tops...one black and one red, of course. So, I'll be back! read more

Terrible service. Store was supposed to open at 10:00, at 10:08 i called to ask them to open the doors by bedding. The response i got was "I'll see what I can do" really??? Sr what you can do about opening your store? At 10:12 a sales person came to the doors and said "yep, they're locked I'll get a key" haven't seen her again. A third person came to door and said "they're locked" Ummmm yes that's why we are standing outside in the cold. As of now, they still haven't opened the door. read more

The employees are friendly and helpful but the last couple times I've been in the store I've seen the manager treat their employees awful in public. When I asked for the managers name and she said Paula she happened to be the one yelling across the store. I've never seen this done before in any other store or department store. If that's how their management treats their employees, I never want to shop there again. What happened to being courteous to your shoppers and employees and why is it ok to yell at them in the the middle of the store. All it "screams" out is how immature the management is and when you see her age you'll be surprised. She's at least in her 50s or so. Not that this yelp will help but if you're in this store and happen to be in the home department beware of yelling older women. How sad for their employees. read more

Finally stopped by Chanel counter to pick up foundation that I really liked. Andrea assisted me, I showed her a picture of the sample that I used and she helped me with what I needed. She didn't push other products by offering a mini makeover. What she did do was offer samples of other Chanel items. She made me a perfume sample of Chanel #5, gave me a mini firming lotion sample, and a two week mascara sample. read more

I like the savings that Dillards gives to cardholders during their clearance sale. I am able to buy marked down items with an additional 40% off, which is quite a savings and this is before the general public gets the discount at a later date. read more
