I have been on the Milford Pedal Cruise before and both are just a super fun way to get together with a group of 22 of your friends and have a great time on the water. Here are some things you'll need to know: The Pier Pressure II is Stamford's only pedal powered party boat operated on Stamford Harbor and goes out into the Long Island Sound. It's a 90 minute excursion that is perfect for corporate outings and team building, as well as office, bachelorette, family, friends and birthday celebrations. It fits 26 guests at 12 pedaling stations & benches, a bar table, coolers, has a bluetooth stereo and also a bathroom. Private Cruises begin at $749 and Public Cruises are sold by the ticket, starting at $55, and seat up to 22 passengers. Guests do tip the Captain & First Mate since they rely on it to pay their bills. Suggested tip for Private Cruises: $200-300 and $10-15 per person for Group Cruises. BYOB! Drinks - beer, wine, hard seltzers, ciders, canned cocktails and the like are suggested. Please avoid bringing glass on board. Only guests 21 years of age or older may bring or consume alcoholic beverages. Don't forget some water. Bring Ice - they do not provide ice :) Bing Snacks - keep in mind it can be breezy on the boat. Cups, utensils, plates, napkins, etc - we do not carry these onboard, so please bring what you need and consider bringing reusable items to help the environment and reduce trash. Depending on the time of year and weather, don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, rain poncho or jacket. It does get cooler on the water- so bring a hoodie :) Lastly- free parking can be found at the Harbor Point Garage at 855 Pacific Street, Stamford, CT 06902 located between Washington Blvd & Harbor Point Rd. Other parking options include street parking and the lot at 200 Washington Blvd. They highly encourage using Uber, Lyft & taxi services, as well as the Metro North Train, a 15 min walk to the meeting location. Their waiting area is located at 1 Harbor Point Rd, Stamford, CT 06902 down the steps and under the blue canopy. You'll see Pedal Cruise signs along the way. Staff will let you and your group down to the boat through a locked gate when the boat is ready for boarding. Please do not enter through the gate without a Pedal Cruise staff member since it is private property. Cheers and have the best time! We sure did!

We came away quite positive about the stock and the staff. And we did make some purchases including several lovely pasta bowls and several utensils. Not a big haul, but one with products we can use and which we thought were fairly priced. You can find lots of items in this roomy store, from coffee makers to aprons, from mixers to cutting knives, and even some prepared edibles. It's all attractively and conveniently laid out. As mentioned, the staff was upbeat and helped us without delay including doing some needed good wrapping on breakable items. The store is located in the Shoppes at Farmington Valley shopping area, and remember, it's upscale not outlet. The cooking class area is really very attractive, but we didn't take any classes.

So even that was an amazing start. We also were able to bring a bottle of wine too which I liked. The class I had signed up for was "South American Steak night". The menu included grilled flank steak with chimichurri sauce, cheese stuffed masa cakes with salsa Roja and dulce de leche ice cream for dessert. And what a fabulous menu it was!! We had so much fun mixing and chopping and eating all the delicious fresh food! Our instructor was so sweet and helped us with everything! She was really amazing! I had such a great experience and would recommend this to anyone and everyone looking for yummy food and a good time! We were also given 10% off the store purchase after our class and even went shopping after in their beautiful store! So fun!

The parking lot was spacious; there were spots reserved just for Bounce Town guests. They host birthday parties and have open play hours. My family and I went on Saturday to the Open Play hour; it was from 1:30 to 2:30. The price was $14 plus tax per child 2 and over; children under 2 are free if they have a paying sibling. That's a score for us! There is a waiver to sign before entering. They have varying weekend hours open to the public, it's best to check their social media sites for updates prior to going. Shoes are not allowed while playing on the bouncy houses; make sure you have socks on. There was a toddler area for kids 3 and under; parents must take their shoes off in there. There were plenty of benches for parents to wait at while their kids played. There were about 8-10 bouncy houses and a playscape. There's an arcade and some tables in the lobby. I saw vending machines. My children enjoyed their time there. The hour was the perfect timing; my kids were tired out. It also seems like a good place to host birthday parties. Overall, I recommend it if you're looking for something new to do with the kids and if it's too cold or rainy out.

Since this was our first time using our own boats at this location we attempted to use the self launch dock, however we were uneasy with it and were unsure as our first time (walking down stairs and a free floating dock you put your boat next to) We went to the other launch dock where there were others who rented boats waiting their turn to get out. We were waiting our turns as well as family going with us, to launch but one of the kids who was working was snobby saying "you can't be over here during busy times like this" and rolled his eyes when we explained we we uneasy at the other dock. As paying customers, I was appalled at how we were treated by some young man as we told him we didn't feel safe using the other dock as OUR FIRST TIME We were fully aware there was a free boat launch down the road however we were with family and wanted to all stay together since they had to rent theirs. Next time I will save myself the hassle and disrespect from some child staff who can't properly communicate
