BEWARE I was lulled into a false sense of Christianity,…read morerespect and kindness when I heard the answering machine message on BWN Computer Repair and Service's (Hwy 16, Graham, TX) phone (940-282-0290) when I left a message asking for a return call yesterday. I reported to my employer the outcome of this attempt at obtaining help from, whom I thought was to be an expert, and he immediately suggested I write a review. I said 'no' but having slept on it - here it is. To the owner's credit, he actually did call me back. That's where all things changed...for the worse and I am sorry to state there is absolutely nothing else good to say about this company and/or its customer service. I was met by yelling, the hammering of his desk to accentuate his points, extreme disrespect, lecturing, continual insinuations of my ignorance (or anyone else's) of computers and absolutely no listening on his part! It was amazing. I haven't met with that level of demonic behavior and treatment in many many years - such anger! AND, I was never allowed to even explain why I was calling or even ask a question - the owner never closed his mouth long enough to listen to anything I (the potential customer) had to say. I kept quiet until he finally stopped to take a breath, I thanked him, wished him a good day and hung up!

It did! When I called back, the billing supervisor told me I could dispute it with my bank - I already did and apparently they disputed my dispute!! She said because it was used as an online payment, they would do nothing about it!! Are they THAT desperate for money??? Customer service sucks as bad as their internet service!! The address they gave me for the person using my card for an on line internet payment isn't even a valid address! Its a field just outside Sweetwater. And I sure can't find the person who uses multiple names on that account! The weird part is one name used is my husbands Aunt who has been dead for years and we had no connections to her in over 40 years!!

Stayed with me till all units, computers were up and running! It is super fast, just loaded my college course online for Wednesday and it was quick, and painless. Very nice folks, great installers. Very Happy Camper here!! 5 Stars!!

Date of Incident: October 24 - 27, 2025 Location:…read moreWeatherford, TX (Hudson Oaks Office) If I could give Netlink a negative rating, I absolutely would. On Friday, October 24th, 2025, storms rolled through Weatherford, and my parents' internet service went out. My parents are retired, and everything they do depends on their internet connection. We called Netlink immediately. Their phone system said "call volume is higher than normal" and offered a callback option. We selected it -- no one ever called back. We tried again on Saturday. Still no callback. By Monday, I finally reached someone in "IT support." The representative, who introduced himself as Jet, had a very strong Indian accent. I asked where he was located -- he admitted he was outside the U.S. and was not allowed to say where. After researching, I found out that Netlink contracts all their customer service and IT support out to India (Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh) because it's cheaper for them than hiring qualified support here in the United States. In other words, Netlink cares more about saving a dollar than serving their customers. I spent over an hour (1 hr 4 min) on the phone with Jet, and he still couldn't fix my parents' issue. He couldn't even schedule a technician. I eventually called the main 800 number and pressed the "Sales" option just to reach someone local. When I finally reached a rep in Hudson Oaks, I asked for a supervisor in the U.S. -- and was transferred right back to another person in India! I even called 682-257-4414 and spoke to a dispatcher who told me the earliest technician visit was Wednesday afternoon -- nearly five days after the service went down. That's completely unacceptable. I used to be a Netlink customer myself, but I switched to Starlink, and I'm so glad I did. Starlink has been reliable, fast, and their support actually cares about their customers. When storms roll through, Starlink keeps working -- Netlink doesn't. Netlink is the perfect example of a company that has lost touch with its community. They outsource American jobs overseas, provide terrible customer service, and fail to deliver reliable internet when it matters most. Save yourself the headache. Don't get Netlink -- go with Starlink instead. It's well worth the investment. To make matters worse, Netlink is an American company on paper -- headquartered in Madison Heights, Michigan -- but nearly all of their customer service and IT support is outsourced to India, specifically Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. The U.S. office handles sales and contracts, while the actual tech support and customer service you deal with are based overseas. They do this because it's far cheaper to pay employees in India ($8,000-$15,000 a year) than to pay qualified Americans ($50,000-$65,000 a year). In the end, Netlink chooses to save money instead of investing in reliable U.S.-based service and customer satisfaction. That's why their support is so slow, frustrating, and disconnected from their customers. In comparison, Starlink has been the complete opposite experience. Their service is reliable, consistent, and built for real people, not call-center scripts. When storms roll through, Starlink keeps working -- unlike Netlink, which seems to go down every time the weather changes. Starlink's customer support is responsive, professional, and most importantly, based in the United States, where representatives actually understand your needs and care about resolving problems quickly. It might cost a little more up front, but it's worth every penny for the reliability, speed, and peace of mind. Starlink proves that when a company invests in its customers and its country, everyone wins.

It did not work for me because I have "double pane" windows. I cancelled the service and was unable to get a refund for a 300 Gb plan when less than 50 GB was used. I feel the less than 50 GB used was part of the "set up" process the company asks you to follow and set my family up for failure. I posted an original reply here and contacted BBB. Then was threatened with a lawsuit for slander. I changed my reply to only reflect the facts and how I felt dealing with this organization. The truth is, I think the service and company are trash and will not be intimidated by their threats. The 1st Amendment and anti-SLAPP laws protect me from their vial threats and intimidation. I do not recommend them for use. Advise you to conduct research on other companies and their guarantees. I found one from TX that works and had exceptional customer service. They continue to threaten legal action, lie about me contacting them and have had this review removed once already. Shameful. I do not expect a refund or any additional "action" from them. Just for the truth to be out there to help others looking for rural internet.

Now we have internet. For future reference Taylor telecom... just communicate. We went thru that storm. We understand the far spread damage and understand it may take days but also understand we have broken fences, missing barns, damaged roofs, neighbors in distress... we just need honest and open COMMUNICATION. Waited weeks for them to arrive to put in our internet. They broke the main waterline going to our house. Took weeks and several phone calls before they completed fixing the waterline. Everything was going ok, had to reset the box weekly, but not terrible. Had a big storm in the area and called to tell them that our internet was out, figured their equipment got fried somewhere. They said "yes it's an outage, be patient, we have crews out working on it". Waited thru the weekend with no communication and still no internet. We call back on Monday "oh there's not an outage, there's just a lot of people with problems but since there's no ticket your not even in line to get fixed" they finally made a ticket and promised someone would call because there are people working thru the holiday. We call back again "oh no one will call you today it's a holiday". Taylor communication is the worst at communicating with each other let alone their customers. Not a terrible service until the slightest hiccup happens then you will not get any reliable information and certainly not the service your are paying for.
