i had Digital Installers set up my entire home entertainment and surround sound system about five or six years ago, but developed a problem a year back when one of my (seven) speakers went out. Since it sits right above my head, in my favorite lounge chair, it was more of an annoyance than anything else because I knew I was not enjoying the full experience of the (high end) equipment I have. I called Digital Installers and, within hours, they were at my home, diagnosed the problem, and it was fixed and done -- and they optimized my system which I had been underutilizing. I'll be having them back soon to upgrade my living room set-up to 4K and switch out the HD set back to the master bedroom. I was with Digital Installers for many years, and my DVR 4 channel analog security system recorder would go offline after a power outage and not come back. This happened frequently as I live in an area of LA that gets power outages 4-6 times a year. I would call them up, and one of their techs would share my screen and put me back online in 20 minutes -- and bill me $125!! I must have spent $500 - $1000 over the years just getting back online. It was a RIPOFF. Recently, my power went out, I again paid $125, and the power went out again days later and I went off line and they wanted another $125!! I refused to pay, and had no online security system. Desperate, I called a friend who gave me his computer expert. The new computer expert solved all my problems!! He had me buy a different DVR 4 channel analog security system recorder on Amazon for $99 that was 1/2 the size of the one Digital Installers put in and it arrived a day later. I opened the box, simply plugged everything into the new DVR, and I then called the computer expert back, and in one hour he had me online and all bugs removed as he also fixed the problem with rebooting after an outage!! Digital Installers NEVER suggested how to fix my outage problem online (which the new guy did and said any of their techs could have fixed that problem too). Digital Installers just kept taking $125 for 20 minutes of work, refused to lower that price, and never fixed the problem. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE post-installation customer service!!! Good riddance to a greedy company that prizes $$ over real customer service. read more

I initially spoke to Rusty (the owner), who was able to give me a very accurate price quote over the phone. After calling a few other companies, I just felt comfortable with the professionalism of my conversation with Rusty. After scheduling an appointment, the installers arrived right on time. Vanny and Vanna (brothers) were just awesome. They had the expertise to install my security camera system. They used their own cables (which was much better than what came with my system). They were professional, knowledgeable, and provided suggestions for my camera placement. Additional personnel arrived to assist with the installation and they were just as awesome. Although I am not from the tech world, I received a basic lesson on the system. They were very patient with me. I've had to call a few times because my Internet system has some issues (not related to the installers) and my calls were returned in a prompt manner. I was initially going to use my local electrician, which would have been a huge mistake. I am very thankful for Digital Installers and would recommend them for all of your AV/security system needs. Shaun came by yesterday to tune up my security camera system. I wasn't his first stop, so he kept me informed with phone calls (3) on his progress to arriving at our home. I had a pretty long "to do" list and I expected it would take about four hours to accomplish. Shaun completed all of the tasks in one hour! At the end of his visit I asked if he would take a look at our home automation system. It's about 15 years old I we are considering a technology refresh. Shaun described a solution that would consolidate our alarm system, security cameras, room lighting control, pool equipment control, audio video systems and wireless communication into one managed home automation system. Shaun and his team did another excellent job in our home. This time installing a 75 inch t.v., moving the 46 inch from one room to another and the the 32 inch that was there into a 3rd room. They had to program our remotes and mount one of the tv's to the wall. The 75 they mounted to the base. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. These guys are truly the best! They installed my exterior security cameras last year and I had every hope of never having to call them again. Totally professional, great customer service and I was completely satisfied with the installation. Today we had a burglary and Esmond (and Evan) were at the house within hours to help me figure out the system and capture video showing who/what/when etc. These guys are techies, make no mistake, but they know how to handle folks like me (let's just say less-than-techie) with a patient, calm and understanding manner.
