[[HIGHLIGHT]]I needed a labor only install of my amplifier/subwoofer in my MB AMG and this was literally the only shop who listened, understood my needs, and had a completely reasonable quote.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I stopped by 12 other shops around Atlanta (some big popular shops included) and they were all 3x the quote or more ... with upsells for equipment I did not need, wrong understanding of the gear I had, and a lack of listening to the customer. Having worked in the 12v industry many years ago, I was shocked at these other places, their prices, and incorrect information they gave me (felt like I was at a car dealer, oof). I guess they assumed I knew nothing. Brought my 2024 Accord to have a front and rear dash cam installed, as well as cable management. Pros are they did a great job with cable management and were quick. The cons were they installed it incorrectly. The dash cam had no power going to it and would not turn on. They assured me that the installation was easy and nothing went wrong with it. I had to get in there myself and troubleshoot it. I discovered it was wired incorrectly. Let me start by saying that I have a 2006 Honda S2000, I'm the original owner, and I'm pretty particular about this sports car. Everything is stock including the radio. Except the CD player stopped working a few days ago and so I wanted a local source for a repair or replacement, and found Digital Car Audio on Shallowford Road in Marietta. After reading multiple positive reviews, especially about John the manager, I thought this could be the place. John suggested replacing my original FM/AM CD unit with a Kenwood. The Kenwood had bluetooth capability and more functions than I would ever use, but I knew going in that I was going to have to adapt to new technology which would be an obstacle for me. Plus, my original unit was no longer in production. John gave me two separate tutorials on how to use the new Kenwood unit and most likely I'll never get past three FM stations and the single CD player, but that's all I ever used with the original. The thing is, if I ever want to do expand my technical horizons I know where to go, and I know a guy with a lot of patience who can help me. Thank you John. read more

I brought my 2021 F150 in to have a subwoofer and amp installed. John gave me a much better deal than other shops I spoke with - he gave better equipment and was cheaper. He took the time to go thru all my questions and was very patient with me. He and his staff took great care of my truck and did an amazing job. My car's speakers are about 18 year old, and when these guys repaired them, they sounded like brand new speakers. I talked to several other companies who just wanted me to replace my speakers and buy new ones, but I really didn't want to since these are Mark Levinson speakers. They sound just as they did so long ago, and I have zero complaints. Customer service is great too, I thought they had messed up my speakers about three months after the repair, so I went back to the store and even though I later realized they clearly weren't messed up at all, they were still super nice to me. John wasn't there when I first came to Digital Car Audio of Marietta, but his assistant said John would call me in the morning, if I left my cell contact number. John called me as promised, and we scheduled an appointment later that early afternoon. When I arrived at John's shop, and told him I was interested in buying a radio much like that which I had on my Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy car, but one that had a CD-Player. When John asked me what I wanted to play on my CD-player, I told him, "I have about 10,000 songs of various artists that I purchased, and just wanted to play them in my car from time to time, but APPLE is denying iPhone and iPad-users the ability to download onto their smartphones, any songs through their iTunes App. BUMMER, Apple!!! That's when John suggested I put songs onto a Flash Drive, and plug the Flash Drive into any available USB hub in the car, and put the radio on, with a FM selection using a blank, unused station frequency, and VOILA!!! It worked like a charm. The only thing I needed to do was, take the music I selected off of the iTunes program on my PC, and CONVERT the iTunes formatted extension files of each song, TO a standard MP3 extension file, so that the songs WOULD play off of the Flash Drive. It was a little time consuming, BUT . . . I got what I wanted, THANKS TO JOHN at Digital Car Audio. 'preciate your kind and generous advice, John . . . and not ramming a $300-$1,000 Deal down my throat that I might not actually need. I enjoy dealing with honest people, and I won't forget your kind advice, John. They take 7 hours when told it will only take 3, they damaged my dashboard, and when they were finally done after 7hrs of installing my stereo they left out wiring I paid for. Definitely don't go to these people they walk around in oversized shorts and flip flops they are not professional by any means they definitely will damage your dash then claim it was there before. read more
