    The two associates that were sitting having a conversation were clearly bothered that I came in…read more They both looked at me and I had to ask if one of them worked there. The one guy said something under his breath and the other girl just got up and moved to another table. So I walked to her table and she just pointed to the empty seat where she was sitting. I went to the other table and the man said "what" I said, "Oh hello, and good evening I'd like to return my Fios equipment" I clearly had the equipment in my hand in an open shopping bag of which I had held out in front of him where he could clearly see. He then looked at me and asked if I had the equipment. Now I was unaware that I didn't have to return all of the equipment just the big white box. He took the white box out of the bag and said "oh no I don't need any of that" he then typed some numbers into a computer. a piece of paper came out of a printer, and without even an upward glance, he handed me the paper and said have a good night. Now I wasn't expecting a red carpet or even a hug however, I was expecting some sort of, if not friendly, at least kind customer service. The time was around 7pm . I asked if they wanted the other equipment to recycle and or if they had a trash bin available to take their equipment, which had Verizon's logo all over it. He again didn't even look at me and said "No you can take the trash out to the garbage bin down the street". I walked out and I told him that I hoped he has a better day tomorrow.

    I heart Spectrum! We've had Spectrum/Charter for over 17 years now and it's been nearly hassle…read morefree! We live in a rural area and do not have many options from which to select for internet: enter Spectrum. Of course, we experience the occasional 2-10 minute "outages;" but for the most part we have a very stable internet thanks to Spectrum. At one time, years ago, they had to work on the physical cables that connect to our house and it was a little disruptive. The outcome was a much more stable connection! I do not dread calling Spectrum's customer service. Every interaction is pleasant and informative! The staff walks you through trouble shooting steps and stays on line with you the entire time, no matter how time intensive the steps are. They respond quickly during outages and will text your phone when the outage is resolved. Spectrum for me is an easy five stars!

They have the typical process for getting on the list to speak to the customer service representative. My service is including more and more popular channels like Disney and Max. I'm learning how to use my Spectrum TV app to watch my favorite shows. During the day I've got continuous drilling from facade work on my building. Watching on the iPad I can carry it to the kitchen and the speakers are up close so I can hear! I'm still giving them only three stars. They are very good at maintaining the equipment and providing me with the remote control I requested. It's just upsetting that I pay $190 a month for WiFi and TV when TV was free when I was growing up. Cable is the only way for me to get transmission with the buildings around me and steel fire doors. I tried an antenna and couldn't get reception. I'm very fortunate I can afford to pay the bill for now. What the future of my relationship with Spectrum will be is definitely an unknown.

The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.
