She listened, was knowledgeable and kind, and then went to ask her manager for the best way to get the points added onto my account since my husband decided to throw away the receipts. Lol. Izzy went above and beyond, and her customer service level is truly appreciated! She is an asset to the company!! Point, Blank, Period! I was disappointed to learn that they had no breakfast food options at all. For a 10AM movie, we thought they might have a breakfast sandwich or something like that but they only had lunch options, so we walked over to the Dunkin Donuts in the same shopping center and had a quick breakfast before the movie. The recliners were comfortable and had the option for heating, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was a decent experience. I would return with my daughter for another movie but only to indulge her. Not because there is anything wrong with the theater but because hubby and I much prefer to watch movies at home. Going out to an official theater is just no longer appealing. My house is more comfortable, food options are far better for a lot less money, there aren't any annoying viewers around me, and the best part is, I can pause for potty breaks without missing a thing. If you are going to go out for a movie, then Movie Tavern is a fine option. I personally just don't see the appeal of movies in theater anymore.

I don't like automatically assuming someone's intentions, but when you can clearly see the difference in how you're being treated compared with customers of another race, it feels discriminatory and is extremely upsetting. As a Black customer who has supported this theater multiple times, I should receive the same basic respect and customer service as everyone else. Also, the chairs seriously need some attention. Some of them are worn out and need to be repaired or replaced. For a movie theater where people are paying for a comfortable experience, the seating should definitely be maintained better. I really hope management addresses this because I actually enjoy this theater and would hate to stop coming because of the behavior of new staff.
