I personally preferred the margarita over the Bloody Mary as it tasted overwhelmingly of tomato juice (and little of anything else) Food - La bomba is meat (beef, pork) filled potato and it was yummy, probably my fave of all the tapas we tried. Chicken dumplings had a nice crisp and nice sauce but taste was just OK. Tacos were quite good! Nice flavor and creative presentation with the sauce in the pipette for you to pour. Lastly was the salad made of fresh arugula, beets, tomatoes, peppers - a great end to the "meal" and ironically was the warmest thing we got. Other tapas served lukewarm.

Our experience was elevated from the start by our waitress Andrea, who was attentive,…read moreknowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. When I described the flavor profile I was looking for, she selected a wine that was absolutely perfect for the occasion. The bread, baked in house and served fresh, paired beautifully with the olive oil. We started with a melted cheese and tomato appetizer before moving on to a fish entrée and a standout special of braised scallops in the shell. We finished on a high note with a brownie and ice cream, and the amaretto sour we ordered was delicious. The ambiance was romantic in the restaurant, great place for a date, special occasion or for a classy occasion.

However, when we realized it is vegetarian they kindly told us they won't charge us if we leave but they strongly believed we will love it if we stay so we stayed. The starter was truly amazing. Maybe because we really craved meat I mean don't get me wrong hummus is nice but it's not steak The tortellini was good but the mushroom really was just meh. You have the option between a bowl and a pita for both, and all the proper accoutrements for a proper falafel. The hummus is exactly what you want and the tahini is to die for. My only complaint would be that they do not give enough fries for the price. other than that, if you are looking for a good falafel or sabich, make sure to give Falafelria a chance.

We had not had lunch and have travel all over Madrid today and thought a quick bite of Mediterranean food sounded good. We went inside to find one lady behind the counter working by herself. She is a machine! We were given an English menu and looked around to see what others were eating. I ordered the falafel pita with hummus, tahini, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, spice, pickles and tumeric sauce. This pita was stuffed and it took both hands to eat. My wife ordered the hummus bowl with tahini, onions, chickpeas and olive oil. A perfectly warm, fluffy pita was also included. The falafel balls were great and flavor packed. It took all my energy to finish this packed pita. The tumeric and carrots were a different taste and enjoyable. A good choice. The hummus bowl with soft chickpeas were delicious. Hummas is always great with a warm pita. Again, the value was also good especially for the generous portions. Looking for good value and tasty food, do yourself a favor and stop at Falafeleria at lunch. To the young lady behind the counter, great service and thank you.

A very fun dinner experience in an underground restaurant. They prefer if you have reservations,…read morebut can sometimes accommodate walk ins when it's not crowded or if you go early. The service is a little bit on the slower side, but each dish comes out plated very well. They have a good variety of dishes and the portion sizes are decent for sharing. The majority of tables are in their own little alcove making it very private and romantic. My husband and I felt like we were secluded in our little space. The food was delicious! We ended the meal with a light and airy cheesecake. They added a candle for my celebration! We were amazed that this entire meal came out to only about $60! Wild! It was such a delicious meal and such a gorgeous setting, especially for the price.

This is a veryyyy small cafe/breakfast spot. Make sure to get reservations or go at a not busy time…read morein order to get a seat. There were probably only 20 or so in the whole place. What I ordered: I got the toast with tomato spread, a cappuccino, and the chocolate cake. For the toast, they have two vintage toasters sitting on the main table so you can toast it yourself. This is cute, until you aren't the one at the main table so you have to reach over other people to toast your breakfast. The cake was a perfect amount of density and moisture; although, I would probably get a different flavor if I could do it over. A lot of people do chocolate cake a lot better than this. I do appreciate that they have all the cakes on a table and cut it right in front of you. Would I go back to this place? Honestly no because my experience wasn't overwhelmingly great and I think I could do better at other cafes nearby, but the quality of food here is simply top-notch.

Be sure to make a reservation because the restaurant is quaint--besides a communal table that seats around ten, I think I only saw a small bar space and two individual tables. The menu includes several options where you can pick the number of side dishes and entree, so you can completely design your meal around your appetite. The ingredients tasted super fresh, and we especially loved the salads we tried! My friend was a little disappointed that his ceviche portion was so small, but it tasted great, and I loved the Asian-inspired chicken. Service was also pretty good, by Madrid standards. On my next visit to Madrid, I will be back to try the breakfast and baked goods :)
