The whole time he asked questions that helped him be sure the problem was only the battery and did a thorough job checking that the new battery was working as it should, measuring it at different speeds and checking other things. . I know little about cars, but I am sure I got a great deal from this top-notch mechanic. I will travel extra miles to his shop when my car has another pain or gives me one. And he was the only mobile mechanic who would come to me do not to have my car towed and rent Ubers to get me to the shop and perhaps have them keep the car so I would have to Uber back home and back to get my car. I am sad to report this final update. A week or so after the work was done, I began to hear a…read moremetal rattle when the vehicle was first started in the morning. I would hear the rattling for a few minutes till the vehicle warmed up, then it went away. The 2nd time it happened, the transmission had difficulty leaving park and going into reverse. I called the Lincoln dealership in Savannah as the owner of this mobile service made it clear, he was not interested in continuing our relationship based on previous interaction. JC Lewis Lincoln said the transmission was 2 QUARTS LOW on transmission fluid and that the procedure for post startup and lubricating the planetary gears didn't seem to be followed, which I can confirm, the vehicle was NOT driven per the Lincoln dealership requirements. It is now obvious to me, that the Lincoln Procedure for transmission fluid flush was NOT followed and it is probable that the tech did not know what was required and by extension is NOT CERTIFIED to work on a Lincoln. I am fortunate to catch this HUGE and unacceptable mistake and have it rectified before severe consequences. CAUTION: BUYER BEWARE.
