Starts off with a short par 4 with a fun green that hints you what is to come. Holes 3 and 4 are back to back par 5s and are the only par 5s on the golf course. Be sure to score here because the next two are tough. I'm a huge fan of all the par 3s, including the six that make up Little Bell. The 7th is a fantastic, downhill par 3 framed beautifully with bunkers. You also get a great view of the few upcoming holes. The 12th is a fun finishing par 3 that plays firm. It has a back shelf that hides the toughest pin. The bunkers are deep and are surrounded by longer grass that make for extremely difficult shots. Belmont added 6 shortish holes called Little Bell to complete the 18 hole golf course. Little Bell takes design features from other AW Tillinghast holes. They are tough at times. The 4th and 6th greens at Little Bell are extremely sloped and fantastic. The range is closed right now but it's all grass and it's great. There are two small putting greens, one near the range and another near the first tee. But don't miss the chipping green past the tennis courts. You can hit shots from 80 yards and in. Great bunkers too. The vibe here is family friendly which I love. The First Tee of Richmond is run here and a lot of beginners play both courses. Expect slow rounds but enjoy it. It's a true gem.

Such a great experience at Fleet Feet it left me wondering why I hadn't visited sooner!…read more With an effort to be more active in 2022 came a much needed shoe upgrade. A friend recommended Fleet Feet ages ago but I didn't finally give them a try until I hurt my foot in the gym partially due to very old shoes. I came in on a Friday evening and two other customers were already there but Anthony did an amazing job of bouncing between us and providing excellent service. I explained my situation, what kind of workouts I typically do, and he walked me through the measuring process which consisted of stepping on a platform and walking a few strides over a cushiony mat. (Thank god, you do not have to run!) Anthony explained my readings & shortly came back with three awesome options he thought would be great for me. Unlike Cinderella, though, Anthony nailed it on the first shot. The CloudFlow shoes felt so amazing they made me realize just how old and worn out my other pair was! Due to some discrepancy in my arches, Anthony also recommended some insoles which he custom cut for my new kicks. In addition to that, I also snagged some workout gear from their selection. The shoes were $140, insoles $50, and the gear was $60, so not cheap but you can definitely tell it's quality stuff! I already wore everything for the next morning workout and it all felt great! Fleet Feet for the win!
