I was at Dick's in the early morning on a Saturday. The employees were all friendly and the store was very clean. The walkways are spacious, clean, and well lit. The merch is well organized and there's a large variety. The store sells exercise equipment, clothing and shoes, plus lots of gear for any sport or regime. I like the sales they have on thick socks in the winter as they have really good socks. I do wish they had more cotton clothing though, I don't like exercising in polyester ick. You can absorb microplastic that way even. The lack of sustainable and healthier clothing made me remove a star. Overall it's a very nice store with great parking and right by the food court. read more

Not a fan of this location since they had a re-opening Aug 15-17th and I did visit this location during that time. Not sure I understand what the re-opening was for the store was over the top on staff, sound - so freaking LOUD and everything was over the top visually. It was gross. When I asked a staff member where they kept their women's Bombas socks - preferably the three package ones - I literally, was given the run around. We paced around the stop needlessly as it was clear she didn't know where to send me after reaching out to a colleague on her phone system. WEIRD. When I finally found myself around the shoe area looking for the Bombas, I had some glimmer of hope when a sales guy approached me asking if I was the one seeking Bombas and he got me to what I wanted. Not sure why this store (as well as others) spread out the Bombas pickings why not keep them in one spot but it is what it is. I miss the old Polaris store. This new Dick's House of Sport is just too weird. Yes, I'm an athlete and appreciate helping community members and putting forth a new in-store experience I suppose I was looking for something different. Decent back up store to my Easton if anything is needed just be aware of the new layout and experience. Just ok. read more

Visiting DSG and supporting my old corporate co-workers. The service was awesome. Regardless of what you hear about the economy, the store was very busy. I felt bad because their self scan items to communicate to associates to let them know what shoes you wanted did not work. The shoe associates were busting their tails to service customers. They did a great job. Selection - I was hoping to pick up some clothes and found the in store display to be limited on selection and sizes. This location had more sports equipment, which might be the new strategy. I am sure I will find more of a selection online at DSG. Please note that I did walk over to Public Rec and saw the same limitations. Value - we know DSG is more expensive because their selection of brands is different. I was very happy with my purchases. There are so many of these stores now. You could say that the world is truly full of Dick's. But they're not outside the US, I don't think, so I guess it's just America that is full of Dick's. Not a fantastic store, to say the least, and whenever I need something they seem to have absolute absolutely everything in the world I don't want, but not what it is that I actually need, and the prices are literally three times higher than I personally think they should be, so that's why I'm not a fan. Of course I didn't find the kind of workout gloves here that I needed but I found some for about a quarter of the price that fit perfectly at Walmart later that night. read more

Dick's is a very large store and it seems to be clean. It seem like they have a lot of merchandise, but never what you need. We went into Dick's to buy 2 bicycles and helmets. We waited for a while to find someone to help us. But once we did find someone, he was very helpful on helping us choose the right bikes. We asked the guy to hold the bike for us for less then an hour, and he did. However, when we went back to pickup the bike, the guy was gone. I asked around but but no one knew anything about the bikes that were on hold and the response was that the guy that was helping me was gone for the day. I went to pick up the bike around 1pm. So I started to look around the bike area and I did find our box with my husband's name on it on a post-it. Anyone could have picked up the box and have taken it. None of the staffs seemed interested in helping, which was very disappointing. The bikes on the other hand are great. No problem with the bike so far. read more

A nicely laid out store, and convenient how it's connected to Polaris Fashion Place, but it doesn't have as much stock as the bigger standalone versions have. I didn't see that much on clearance/sale and only saw a selection of baseball hats in the Nike and Under Armour sections. read more

we drove an hour to utilize their batting cages to determine what bat we want to buy and the guy wouldn't allow us to use the cages because we weren't necessarily buying a bat today. however our son plays travel ball, we just bought a hype fire and spend thousands of dollars at dicks. I had to ask the manager if he would allow us to test bats. once we were allowed to test the bats the guy wouldn't utilize the hit trax software, help us with the tee, or the bats so we couldn't really determine exit speed and how far the ball went with each bat. we couldn't really buy a bat today if we wanted to based on the customer service given today. it was awful. when we are ready to order another bat it won't be from dicks and we will not be shopping there again, ever. read more

My husband and went to Dick's today and brought our baby. While walking around the baby needed a diaper change. The changing table is located in the women's handicap stall. The toilet in the handicap stall was out of order so the stall was locked and the changing table was not accessible. My husband checked for a changing table in the men's room. There isn't one. We thought we'd pop into the mall to use a bathroom there. The gate in the entrance to the mall was shut even though the mall was open. It was a pretty frustrating experience. Apparently men should bring there babies here without a woman present. read more

I went to buy a pair of cleats, it was supposed to be a quick stop with my boy, I ended waiting for more than 20 minutes to be assisted, and I had to ask for help after seeing a couple of employees not busy in the shoe areas. This particular kid (and I did complain about it with the store manager) saw me waiting and looking for help, and he passed me and offer to assist a family that got there 2 minutes ago. At this point I was beyond mad, I even made a comment out loud "are you serious?" And had to call another employee that was not busy at the time. read more

Tried to buying running shoes but no one wanted to check me out even though there were 4 cashiers up at the front. They had one other client they were checking out and all the staff were helping her. I placed an online pickup order, was notified it was ready for pickup. I arrived at the store and used the app to notify that I was there for pickup and specified via the app what I was wearing and where I could be found (by the order pickup). I arrive and there is one cashier and a manager helping her. The manager made eye contact with me but did not speak. Then after helping the cashier she took a phone call and radio'd someone (thinking it was to help me) but I stay waiting. She made eye contact with me again over a period of 12 minutes before I interrupted and flagged her down for attention. I advised that I notified via the app that I was there and yet there wasn't anyone around to get my order for me. She then walked over, asked for my name, reached in and grabbed my order and handed it to me. No apologies or anything. I understand every store is short staffed but you don't need to be short with the customer as a result. read more

Excellent and friendly staff. Stopped in to get my son soccer gear. They helped with all the fitment and when they found the shoes we needed were out of stock ordered them for us and still gave us the sale price they were having. Wish I had gotten the sales guys name since he was so helpful. read more

Not that impressive. As it being connected to Polaris mall, I thought it would have more stock. Every time I've gone it looks like the day after Black Friday or the holidays. Stay away. I bought a bike here a few weeks ago. After riding the bike several times it developed a clicking in the back axel. Likely I was up sold on the extended warranty right? Wrong. I took the bike in and was told their tech was out to lunch but would call me in the afternoon. I didn't ask to be called back so quickly but was pleasantly surprised by the promise of such quick service. When I didn't hear from anyone I called but was informed that the bike tech had left for the day. It was 2pm. When I asked when I might expect to hear from the tech the employee rudely said, "he'll give you a call whenever he gets around to it..." I was treated like an inconvenience for asking questions. Eventually someone different told me the tech would call me tomorrow. This game went on for 3 more days and when I finally got the the tech on the phone (I was told many times he was unavailable because he was helping a customer) he babbled some incoherent jargon before saying my bike would be ready in 3-5 days because "that's what he's supposed to say." No one ever fixed the bike and I picked it up. Took it to REI and they diagnosed the issues and I'll have my bike back tomorrow. If nothing else, the name of the store is appropriate for the level of service they fail to provide. Steer clear. read more

Very disappointed. Got home and double checked our receipt to discover a $55.00 item that we were charged for and didn't buy. We were in the checkout line at closing so by the time we got home we couldn't call the store to talk to anyone about the extra charge. At this point we are very concerned that the cashier used our card to buy an item for himself without us noticing. read more
