They have a beautiful fireplace and sitting area by the entrance that sets a "cozy cabin in the mountains" vibe. One of the first things you see is the beloved aquarium - always the highlight for the kids and what I remember from similar stores growing up. Next, what we really came for. We visited to see Santa with our toddler and had a wonderful time. You can pre-register to ensure your spot for a FREE photo, and those that walk in can wait in line once those that registered in advance are through. I saw everything from families in matching PJs to couples with their dogs and I was all about it. Once they snap the photo, you get a free printout and can opt to purchase additional if desired. They even gave a festive little wooden frame, which is currently hanging on our fridge and bringing me joy. This setup to see Santa was memorable, efficient, and perfect for a wiggly toddler. Hamilton Town Center is essentially an open-air mall. Developed by Indy-based Simon & Associates, Hamilton Town Center opened in 2008 right on the cusp of when the more traditional shopping mall was starting to wane in popularity and developers were exploring options. Hamilton Town center features over 85 shops/restaurants and is designed to resemble a streetscape. Some of the dining options, in particular, are free-standing buildings in outlots. While I think it's pretty common to associate Hamilton County with a more affluent clientele, one of the things I like about Hamilton Town Center is that it has a nice diversity within its shops - from definite high end options to more "ordinary joe" type outlets. Hamilton Town Center also hosts Emagine Theatre (the former Hamilton 16 IMAX). I suppose a minor quibble would be that the vast majority of the options here are national chains, though I noticed a lot of the national chains tend to be smaller chains that might surprise you they're a chain. Being a Simon Mall, Hamilton Town Center has a rewards club and there are some online shopping options. Like most malls, Hamilton Town Center tends to host holiday events and has a Santa every holiday. Generally speaking, accessible parking is plentiful and curb cuts are well done. There's at least one very nice greenery area that seems to draw the kids quite a bit with its various playground-lite equipment. There's a definite "sprawl" here in terms of the landscape. If you have mobility issues, you may have difficulty if you want to go to several different stores at opposite ends of the "mall." In terms of accessibility, it works. It's just a bit tiring. I considered going a 4-star and a 4.5 is probably more accurate, however, the real clincher for me is that I like the diversity of shops more than Castleton and I like the economic variation more than Fashion Mall. I just feel like there's something for everyone here. While the mall generally opens at 10am, I do kind of wish they had a decent breakfast/brunch option. However, that's pretty easy to find within a mile of this growing area. If we're being honest, Castleton is okay but has definitely declined. Fashion Mall is just fine, and I definitely like the food options, but it's more than a wee bit pretentious. Greenwood Park Mall is probably the closest comparison, though Glendale Town Center is weaving together the hybrid experience these days. Washington Square and Lafayette Square? Um, yeah. No. While Central Indiana has other options, this is definitely one of the better mall experiences in Central Indiana and it's an easy drive from pretty much anywhere in Marion and surrounding counties.

I had saved the original boxes the trampoline came in and used them for when I moved back to Indiana from Arizona. The original company where I bought it was Tree Frogs Playground Equipment and they had taken it apart for me and put it back into those original boxes. I do not recommend doing business at Recreation Unlimited with Lilliana, the Sales manager who clearly knew they were in the wrong by trying to offer me a settlement, the Service manager who seems to be woefully misinformed about Cal Spas warranties & parts, as well as Kyle in the Customer Service department who failed to convince this "leadership" that I wouldn't be including him by name in this review if I didn't end up receiving a full refund. Perfectly calm and friendly people, who completely misunderstand what customer service means. Simply put for context: I ordered the FIL75-5D145H2OE-4 filter. What I received was a tampered-with delivery full of used Nespresso pod garbage. I contact them, they ship out the filter again, no issue. The filter I receive is NOT a direct replacement for my OEM filter, despite their own product page listing it as such. Even the URL of the product page indicates the part number incorrectly. Cal Spas confirms, by serial number, that it does not apply to my tub, nor does that part even exist in their system. It's not even the same outer diameter. I note this to Rec Unlimited and the Service manager suggests that I, "just try it out." Of course I choose not to because I'm not going to void my warranty or potentially destroy my tub's plumbing from a fake product, but it was clear at this point that there is either an outright ignorance when it comes to the products this retailer sells or they just simply won't care about your experience with them. What they did offer: A partial refund where I would have to cover the shipping costs. So not only did they realize they had fault and offered this concession, but further insulted me by requesting the shipping fees that they wouldn't have incurred had they just simply not made this mistake in the first place. Now, you've not only admitted you were wrong, but you have a chargeback coming your way too. I'm very much looking forward to the response that I will get from them here in this review. Because if it's anything other than, "We're sorry. We'll refund you 100% immediately." then every single person who reads this review will know exactly how you operate.
