Solving the worlds problems one rivalry at a time Kimmer, 2020
    Kimmer S.

I speak with my dad several times a week and over the last few years I've learned he hired a cleaning service to help him keep up with the monumental task of running a household and being the sole caretaker to three demanding women. Two of these three women are spoiled rotten pooches living their lives of leisure. I get that and fully support it. The other is his disabled wife who, more often than not, can just look at something in a room and have that room instantly come online as a FEMA disaster zone. I don't support that nearly as much but have learned it's HIS problem. Not mine. Anyways, nearly everybody living in the town he lives in is never from Florida but a transplant from some other place. His cleaning lady is from Ohio and proudly displays her Buckeye love. I can't support that even though Urban Meyer is a phenomenal coach and doing the same thing for THE Ohio State University as he did for the Florida Gators-bringing in national titles, conference titles, butts in the seats, and high rankings every year. I'm sure the Buckeye Nation is strong and students receive a top notch education in every area of study. However, the term 'student athlete' is an oxymoron to any college ball fan and every year I grow more convinced that if the schools put a single ounce of learning anything beyond football into player education then some of these kids could put together a 140 character tweet that was spelled correctly. * I digress. I'm a pot stirrer. I will always seek to cause some friction, lovingly crafted, of course. What better way to engage in a discussion than to get some Michigan apparel for my dad to wear the day the Buckeye lady visits? What fun! Could it be done? We'd have to go to Dick's and find out. These stores are tricky, one has no trouble finding branded merchandise for local teams but the store cannot possibly hold every item for every fan base at every store. I knew I could find something online but half the fun of this quest was the Mission Impossible theme on a loop in my brain. Upon asking the first employee I saw if they had any Michigan Wolverine love going on in store she pointed to the clearance section rather disinterestedly and off I marched. And I searched through every rack and item, hopes being quashed a little further with every Seminole, Gator, Ray, and Buccaneer item I scanned and discarded. Could it be, something way in the back that couldn't POSSIBLY be the right shade of blue. Or could it? No. Wait was it? Nooooo, WAIT!!! YES!!! The navy blue t and that telltale bright yellow M was THERE! In the store. All by it's lonesome and on clearance for $13. I snagged it. Deemed it appropriately sized and off I went to pay feeling like I'd just won the Powerball. The lady did not visit during my tenure there but I am really looking forward to the phone call telling me all about the inevitable confrontation. I will hear the laughter in dad's voice and know his eyes are all crinkled up and twinkling. That's really why I stirred the pot. I enjoy these type things with my dad. Give Dick's Sporting Goods a shot for all your team love because they'll have what your looking for. * ALL Power conference teams players run into the same problems and I delight in watching the falls of these teams. Looking at you Alabama and Clemson :)

Good place to get your Groupon deals honored. Saved $40 on some N.O.Xplode

They have a wide variety of sports equipment. No big sales though. Still a great place to pick up athletic gear.

Not going to Dicks anymore. Used to go there a couple of times a month. It's sad what poor leadership is doing there.

The staff often come across as aggressive, making me feel like I'm inconveniencing them with basic questions. Their dismissive attitude makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience, as if they don't value their customers. For a store that claims to cater to golf enthusiasts, they could do a lot better in making people feel appreciated. There are better stores in the area, Club Champion, Golf Guys, and PGA superstore which the following offer competitive prices, and Excellent customer service!! Beware!!!

I have spent enough money at this store to become a gold member, however the customer service has left me sorely disappointed. The customer service has been terrible. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I was bothering the staff just by being there. Even though I have spent substantial amounts of money here, I continuously face the passive aggressive remarks of the employees, and their feeling of disdain and undesire of contributing to a happy and safe shopping experience. The behavior of the store and their employees is down right disrespectful, inappropriate and unprofessional. I believe there are better alternatives such as Golf Guys up the street who have better prices and better customer service or the local PGA Superstore who would be happy to help and contribute to a safer shopping experience. I don't recommend this place. Stay away!!

But I needed the Wide as I was training for a Camino de Santiago. A pilgrimage from Porto Portugal to Santiago Spain. I knew this was the perfect shoe for my Camino. Your feet have a tendency to swell when walking long distances, so I knew I needed the wide for the toe bed to be comfortable. The shoe was a perfect fit. I wore toe socks and wool socks for this 250 mile journey. Over large boulders, up hills and through forests, paths covered in tree roots, sandy along the Atlantic coastline. Rainy weather was no worries for these shoes. No problem with blisters. The shoes worked like a champ. Came home and threw them into wash. No issues. I think they're ready to go again. Thank you Fit to Run for an exceptional shoe that holds up in the worst of times.

It was mentioned to me days ago but I thought they were fine. It was uncomfortable. When I returned them I spoke with AMELIA. She was also a great salesperson. I appreciated her response to my dilemma. She was extremely helpful. Got the extra wide that I needed and back to wearing the HOKA's a different color but that's ok. My feet aren't feeling "claustrophobic". LOL. Great staff in this store.
