I live in Allegheny County, which does not have a Boscov's, so this particular location in Beaver County is the closest to me. For at least a few years, I have shopped occasionally in this store. I would describe Boscov's as being between Macy's and JCPenney in quality. Products are often name-brand and designer and are often on sale for low prices. I always shop in multiple departments but focus mostly on the junior's and misses's sections of clothing, which are quite large and take much time to search through. During my most recent visit, I chose a thermal/waffle shirt that was on sale for only $7. I was standing in line at a cash register when an employee told me that I could go to her cash register a short walk away. I appreciated that she did not make me wait to be served. She correctly rang up my purchase and thanked me.

The store was full of merchandise that was fairly well organized. I saw both mid-priced designer brands such as Michael Kors handbags and UGG bedding as well as brands with which I was unfamiliar. The prices seemed to be low to moderate. I found a sweater that had a nice color and style and was in my size, and it was marked down to $16. Overall, Marshalls is not one of my favorite stores, but I occasionally like to see what bargains it has.

I had trouble with finding a particular kitchen product, and when I tried to pull it up on Target's website on my phone, I could not get reception for several minutes. No employees were nearby to assist with finding the product, so I gave up. I ended up deciding to purchase only wet foods for my cat. Their prices were typical. Many cash registers were open, but because it was Black Friday, the lines of costumers moved slowly. I ended up waiting and then using the self-checkout to pay. The bag dispenser had no bags, so I had to ask an employee for a bag.

I found a Calvin Klein winter jacket that was in my favorite color and in my size and cost $50, which I thought was a good deal.
