I live in Allegheny County, which does not have a Boscov's, so this particular location in Beaver County is the closest to me. For at least a few years, I have shopped occasionally in this store. I would describe Boscov's as being between Macy's and JCPenney in quality. Products are often name-brand and designer and are often on sale for low prices. I always shop in multiple departments but focus mostly on the junior's and misses's sections of clothing, which are quite large and take much time to search through. During my most recent visit, I chose a thermal/waffle shirt that was on sale for only $7. I was standing in line at a cash register when an employee told me that I could go to her cash register a short walk away. I appreciated that she did not make me wait to be served. She correctly rang up my purchase and thanked me.

Yesterday I stopped in after work and they were completely fully stocked with new fall merchandise from shoes, to jackets, the sweaters to long sleeve shirts, you name it. They always have a ton of holiday decor, and lots of pet stuff. They also have children's clothing and toys. I tried on lots of shoes yesterday but did not buy any shoes. But they had so much great fall clothing that I probably tried on 10 things and came away buying 4 items. The discounts are great, and the sales are even better. I don't have their credit card, but if you do have the credit card you do rack up points I think for discounts. Because the shopping center is in Beaver County it is much less crowded than Cranberry and it's always easy to find a parking spot. It's in between Target and Ross. And there is also a Kohl's and a shoe store in the plaza.

The prices seemed to be low to moderate. I found a sweater that had a nice color and style and was in my size, and it was marked down to $16. Overall, Marshalls is not one of my favorite stores, but I occasionally like to see what bargains it has.

I had trouble with finding a particular kitchen product, and when I tried to pull it up on Target's website on my phone, I could not get reception for several minutes. No employees were nearby to assist with finding the product, so I gave up. I ended up deciding to purchase only wet foods for my cat. Their prices were typical. Many cash registers were open, but because it was Black Friday, the lines of costumers moved slowly. I ended up waiting and then using the self-checkout to pay. The bag dispenser had no bags, so I had to ask an employee for a bag.

I know that I am owed money and I'm sure there are items that didn't sell, I was never contacted about them closing and there's no forwarding address or contact information. I would like to have some guidance on what to do next. I have dealt with this store for years and was very disappointing to find out that they moved out and didn't square up with their customers first.
