Going, Going, Gone! is an outlet store that is owned by Dick's Sporting Goods. The store sells mostly apparel and footwear for women, men, and children. During my visit, I saw that many major brands were sold, including Asics, Adidas, Columbia, Levi's, Under Armour, and others. Prices were low to regular. For example, I saw a Levi's bookbag for $6 (bargain!) and a pair of Asics sneakers for $111 (in my opinion, still too expensive). I picked out three tank tops that ranged in price from $11-21 and a winter coat for $74. My husband picked out a hoodie that cost only $5! The cashier and the manager were very nice. My winter coat that was supposed to be discounted by an extra 25% was not ringing up correctly, so I pointed out the incorrect price. The manager manually entered the correct price, and the cashier repeatedly apologized and thanked me.

This local chain of sporting goods stores is underrated. I recently came to the Mcknight location…read moreto buy work boots. By the way, this is NOT like a Dick's, so don't compare or expect it to be like that. It is a lot smaller, and they must have a big deal with Under Armour, because they always have everything from them under the sun, from shorts pants shirts hoodies etc. They have a decent footwear section, and a big hunting/ fishing department. Giant selection of athletic apparel as well. Most everything is name brand, and the best part is it's basically all on sale for around 20 dollars less. I got Timberland Pro boots that are $140 everywhere else for 100 dollars. If you mention you are a AAA member, you get a fairly hefty discount, and the guy didn't even ask for a card or credentials. Plenty of employees ready to assist you. I have been here before, but I think I need to start making this place my go-to. I feel good about giving them business because they are the only competitor in Pittsburgh where it is overrun with Dick's, where everything is overpriced. Make it a point to visit here next time you are looking for sporting goods.

Dunhams Mcknight store will always be my go to sporting goods store. Purchased a tree stand last…read moreBlack Friday only getting to set it up this Sept. Upon completion of set up I just wasn't happy with design/quality of stand. Called store and explained my situation. Talked with manager Mindy who told me bring it back to the store for exchange even though I lost the receipt and they had discontinued my particular tree stand! OUTSTANDING customer service in my opinion! New tree stand mac daddy by Primal is installed and I'm just happy happy. Thanks Dunhams. Thanks Mindy.

Pittsburgh does not have as many upscale malls as do larger cities, and I think that Ross Park Mall…read moreis the fanciest mall that we have. This indoor mall has two floors and over 150 stores. The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Luxury/designer stores include Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., Kate Spade, and Tory Burch. The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. Current restaurants are Auntie Anne's, Cheesecake Factory, Plaza Azteca, Nordstrom Ruscello, several casual restaurants in the food court, etcetera. Unlike many other indoor malls, Ross Park Mall is not dead. Most store fronts are occupied, and only a few store fronts are empty and awaiting future retailers.
