Got to be honest: when I visit Marshalls, I skip the clothing section. Since different brands of…read moreclothes fit very differently, it's not usually worth digging through the racks finding clothes to try on. But, I'll still poke my head in here because there are plenty of other things I can find much more easily. Boots, purses, home items, notepads - those sorts of things are fun to look at, especially as I evaluate new colors, patterns, and so forth to include in my home and workspace. A lot of items here make great (and affordable) gifts for people, too; so even if I don't find something for myself, I rarely leave disappointed. Free and easy parking - plus the fact that this Marshalls is located next to a Panera and a convenient store/pharmacy - means that even if I leave empty-handed, I don't feel like I wasted my time or energy. I'll certainly continue visiting and seeing what's available here as long as I'm in the area.

I had some shorts and tank tops to try on, so I went over to the fitting room after shopping around…read morefor a while. I hung my items up so the attendant could count them and she noticed I had a Starbucks drink and told me I had to either leave it in the cart or with her at the counter (GROSS!). I definitely wasn't doing that, so she wouldn't let me try the clothes on. She was super rude about it too. I told her that I walked around the store with it, so what was the difference if I brought it in the fitting room?? I could have spilled it anywhere in the store and it would have had to have been cleaned up. If drinks aren't allowed, they should post it. It was just an off-putting experience and I told her that I'm a grown up and I can handle having a drink. In the past, I also had a bad experience with this attendant. She's miserable. To sum it up, I left the store without trying on the clothes. The line is always massively long when I go in here anyway. I doubt that I will go back to this location again.

I normally never write a review because you never know when you might need someone. I have been to…read morethis shop two times. First experience went great. Second experience not so great. I will not return because I took the clothes into the shop neatly folded and the items that the shop did not want they tossed carelessly back into the boxes and I had to refold everything again when I got home. It was difficult for me to refold the clothes due to a car accident. My back hurt after I refolded the clothes. I told her about the accident because I had to bring someone to lift the boxes. I am not allowed to lift at this time. Very disappointed with my second experience. Also, they broke up matching sets of clothes. Why would you separate pants from the matching top? The lady I worked with on this second experience was rude. I will not return. There are plenty of other consignment shops in the Pittsburgh area or for what little money I got at Clothes Mentor I will donate. She was ridiculous tossing designer clothes with tags with such disrespect. I am guessing they didn't buy many of clothes because many were size 2. Who turns down spotless Oscar De Le Renta , Burberry , Docle Gabbana, Saks etc.? They don't have a size 2 market.
