I recently ordered a 3wt Redington CT combo with the Big Y standard reel. The combo was delivered in a couple of days. I noticed a problem with the fly line the 1st time I cast it. I emailed them and got a quick response even though it was Labor Day. They emailed me a shipping label to send the reel back. I had the reel back in my hands respooled with new line in less than a week. Great customer service! I've also got to say I'm really impressed with their Big Y Standard reel for the money. The machining is great and it's a really smooth reel that seems to shoot way above its price point.

I was panicking thinking I'd have to go way out of my way and be even later to the lake than I was to begin with. But my boyfriend saved the day because he said just stop at Fisherman's. I said "what's Fisherman's." Lol. He told me where it was and immediately I knew WHERE it was but I had never, EVER seen it. Thankfully it was SO easy to find the tanks (albeit I bought butane vs propane...and had to go back to exchange it) and I was in and out. As I said I bought the WRONG tanks. But it was SO easy to go back and exchange them! I even saved a few dollars since the ones I needed were less! I'll definitely be going to Fisherman's for camping needs going forward! I have had the worst experience with Oregon Tackle that I have heard had with any company. I…read moreordered several colors of the same size spinner blade which I use to make my own spinning lures. When the package arrived, I saw the colors were correct but the blades were a size too small. Since the order arrived on Saturday I had to wait until Monday to call the company to find out what went wrong with my order. I talked to a man named Adam (I think the same person who took my original order) who proceeded to give me some kind of run around about their blades being one size off from everybody else who makes spinner components. But after some discussion he told me the proper size blades would get to me the next day,Tuesday, barely in time to make up some spinners for a scheduled fishing trip the following Wednesday. Well, Tuesday came and went and no blades from Oregon Tackle. I didn't even get them by the following Friday. So, I called again that afternoon and talked to Doug Hays who I believe is the owner of the company. Doug gave me an even bigger run around than Adam had. But again, Doug assured me the proper blades would arrive on Saturday. As I write this review on that Saturday, the mail has been delivered and NO blades from Oregon Tackle. These people must have zero business sense. I have been making my own spinners for almost 25 years using components from several different manufacturers and Oregon Tackle has the WORST customer service of any of them. I'm not sure I'd even call what they did to me "customer service". It was more like they thought they could send me anything they wanted and I'd be happy with it. If it weren't for the fact Oregon Tackle is the only spinner component manufacturer who offers the blade colors I was looking for I'd never do business with them again. Stay away from these people unless you want to get insulted, belittled and made to feel like any error is entirely your fault.

Walked into this store the same time as a lady did with her big purse. The lady clerk at the store…read moresaid hi to the lady customer but came right up to me didn't say hi and flatly told me I had to give her my jack spade messenger bag. I refused because my iPad, wallet, iPhone, my Burberry leather iPad case and Louis Vuitton sunglasses were in it. She continued to fight with me on it and I asked why she didn't ask the lady to put her large coach purse behind counter. She said "I have a bag". Mind you I couldn't even fit one shoe in my bag if I were to steal, which I would not anyway. She said "fine but I am going to watch you". And she just stood there with her hands on her hips staring at me with a glare as I tried the shoes. So when I tried on some vans that I really liked ...was so put off by the sales clerk that I put them back. Then went up to counter and proceeded to tell her how uncomfortable she made me and how I was pointed at racially because I am a gay man (spoke very nicely) I might add. Asked her for her first name as she conveniently flipped her badge as I walked up to her....she retorted by saying "leave now". I did. Called headquarters made a big complaint to the division manager. They lost a $60 sale and I went to Vans where they treat me with respect and didn't question my bag and bought them there. In this day where guys have purses/bags too... to hold all there tech stuff...( this ...shouldn't be a question). Never will I buy shoes from Famous Footwear again. My last purchase there was $150 Nike running shoes.... you lost a customer and I hope they fire this lady who was very rude and prejudice. I also wrote a bad review on Google, site jabber and reported them to consumer affairs and the BBB. Update: Division manager called me, apologized profusely sent me a $50 gift card for my trouble. Went back to store spoke to manager - Anna, very nice lady, she saw my messenger bag she even said I couldn't fit one shoe in it,...anyway their policy is not to ask for people's bags. When she looked at it she even agreed it's the size of a small purse. She was very apologetic too. They are taking action with employee, they could not tell me how, but I am glad it was resolved.
