Nowadays it's just enough that the store be reasonably organized and has enough available inventory on hand to prevent me from regretting not shopping on my keyboard. Dick's in Fairless Hills was clean, well-organized, had the items I was looking for and was organized in such a way to encourage browsing. In 2026 that's a win and I'll take it. Called the store to see if they had bmx bikes. They do not have them in the store but the person who answered the phone said I could order it online have it shipped to my house then bring it to them to put together. I brought it today 11/26. I needed it by 12/6 that's 9 days. They couldnt guarantee it would be ready. That's 9 days. I would have bought somewhere else. read more

I recently picked up a bike here for my kid. The experience went really well. The people in the bicycle section did a great job showing me around and were good sports fielding my litany of questions and taking out quite a few bikes for me to get a better look at. They also set everything aside to get the bike assembled as quickly as possible, so that I wouldn't have to come back the next day to get it. Huge time saver, really appreciated that. Check out was a pain. I couldn't find anyone at the bike section at the appointed pickup time, so I had to track down another salesperson who also couldn't find anyone, and then he just helped me figure out where the bike was. I then had to carry the bike across the entire store to the check out line (it was a little kids bike, so it was too low to easily walk over) which my lower back did not appreciate. I then had to wait again as the cashier put out an APB for one of the bike guys in order to get some paperwork that I needed to fill out for... I don't know, the Ministry of Bicycles? Wtf? It's a kids bike, not a new Ferrari. Relax with the formalities. After paying and getting to my car, I couldn't help but think that some clearer, more customer friendly bike pickup procedures should be in order. At the old Toys R Us down the road, you'd get a ticket from the bike guy and then you'd give it to customer service at the pick up time. Then they'd call back to have it brought out front or to your car. Easy. Anyway, that inconvenience aside, buying a bike here wasn't too painful and I would probably come back to do it again. I went to Dicks to look at some iron sets (golf). I was coming from work and still in my construction clothes. Two store guys were busy talking and basically ignored me. A white gentleman walked over and they immediately jumped in to help him. He got whatever info he was looking for and left. They went back to ignoring me. I don't know if I was too tan or didn't look like I could afford a set of clubs but they definitely didn't feel like helping me out. read more

Call the number listed on their CURBSIDE PICKUP. They take name and spot number... 20 mins later nobody comes out. GO INSIDE AND THE LADY NEVER CHECKED US IN SO ITEMS AREN'T PULLED! The next day you fired him, and never paid for any of his medical bills. I had to use my own insurance to pay for his medical bills. It's now been over two years, and the harrassing phone call has begun again! This is discrimination, and an injustice to anyone; let alone someone with a disability. Over the years I've been to many Dicks sporting goods. Even as a kid. The days of when I was getting baseball gloves to hockey skates etc. But many don't compare to the size of this store and everything they have compared to others. It's not just the sports gear it's other things that makes Dicks sporting goods awesome. Like the appreal, Columbia, northface coats, gloves hats, I'm in hear alot browsing seeing what I could find for the spring and fall winter seasons. If you shop hear alot you should sign up for there rewards program. You make out in the long run. read more

It is in the rear of that warehouse of a retail outlet that all varieties of foot gear are displayed and available for purchase. Where some of the smaller shops have a few designs in a few colors from a few manufacturers, Dick's offers the most of all. Too, if paying attention to the flyers in the mail or email advertisements, it is possible to save substantially. Size 12 Nike Air basketball shoes listed for sale at $85, were actually secured for $20 less with the help of those coupons and cards. The cashier was very helpful in making sure we got the best possible price. Knowing we will be back in about 90 days to replace the worn out Nikes with a new and likely larger pair, is a good incentive for both parties to maintain good relations. Big, neat, clean, with ample parking. Be careful when driving or walking through this lot; it can be very, very busy and people like to go too fast. Dick's shares a parking lot with Barnes and Noble, Ulta, Home Depot, and a few other "big box" stores, so especially on the weekends, be careful. The prices are generally okay, especially for things like free weights and other kinds of gym equipment. I wouldn't purchase fitness apparel from here unless it's on sale, since I can almost always find what I need at Target. However, Dick's does occasionally run fantastic sales, so check those out. Last time I saw one, everything was marked down and then you could take off an additional 75%. Nice! read more

Yesterday my husband went to this store for a CURBSIDE PICK UP and he did what was asked of him and waited 20 minutes and nobody came out so he went in and he said something to someone and they just looked at him and they just pushed the merchandise out and didn't even offer to help load it. This store is perfectly located, and very clean and organized. Great selection of all products, this store even has a pretty good selection of exercise equipment! You get a really good deal on squat racks there plus you get free shipping which is always nice! Was looking for a new driver (golf club). The young kid working the golf section was friendly, extremely helpful, and listened to what I wanted. Across the street, the guy at Golf Galaxy kept trying to steer me into a $300+ driver even after telling him multiple times I'm just a hack player who only plays occasionally and wanted lower-budget. Went back to Dick's and bought the inexpensive driver the kid had showed me. That's how you do business and create a happy customer. I purchased a Max Trainer from this Dick's in February. There were a couple of problems I've been having with it, so I went back into the store today. One of the employees, Chris Agans, went above and beyond to help me get it taken care of. Too many times, I've seen negative reviews on here, so I believe it's only fair to put a positive review, while also naming the employee who provided such great customer service. I will say they have a terrific selection of everything sporting goods, sneakers, golf equipment, and clothes. But the major turn-off is the staff. These "kids" are rude, spoiled, not trained, and too busy texting to take care of customers needing info. Ended up buying the wrong thing due to no help and ended up disappointing my son on his birthday. Hire new people or it will be their downfall. read more
