This Dick's Sporting Goods is a chain retail store that sells merchandise such as sports equipment (e.g., baseball, basketball, fishing, football, golf, hockey, soccer, and bicycling), exercise equipment (e.g., ellipticals, treadmills, and weights), clothing and shoes for adults and children, etcetera. My husband and I shopped here to browse men's outwear and treadmills. My husband commented that the prices of the outwear were too high. When we were looking at the treadmills, an employee nearby saw us but did not greet us. One of the treadmills did not have a price tag, so I asked her about it. She was not able to answer our questions well, so she said that she would find another employee to help. We did not feel impressed with her communication and job performance. The second employee could not find the key to turn on the treadmill, so he used a different key that thankfully worked. We asked him about the features of the treadmill, and I found the answers on the Dick's website on my cell phone before he could find the answers. At least he spoke politely with us. My husband and I decided to purchase that treadmill, which was name-brand and half-off for only $1,000 plus $175 for delivery and assembly in our home. The employee accurately rang up our purchase. He said that he could schedule delivery for weeks later, which was too long of a wait for us, so we instead waited for he delivery company to select a date, and that date was only days later. read more

Fake Sporting g goods store. Yuppy workout gear. Stopped in this store to get my son his hunting license since he just past his Hunter safety course. Walked in and asked and got a snide attitude when I asked about buying a hunting license for my son, like they are above that. Another Company that got caught in the Woke culture. I Will never be back.. it may be good if you want to buy a $500 Yeti cooler or a $200 shirt for working out.. super lame, not an actual sporting goods store. Mainly work out equipment, it's like the JCPennies of weights and treadmills. read more

The store is beautiful and filled to the brim with a variety of sporting goods for any season, no doubts about that. Let's be real, you can find anything in that store from Amazon cheaper so think of it as a large demonstration for things you're going to end up buying online. The one star review is for singlehandedly the worst customer service experience I have ever seen. In the last 3 times of walking through this massive store I have never even been GREETED by anyone working, let alone asked "can I help you?" Not ONE person even gave me a half-assed "need help finding anything?" which sure, you're probably going to say no to anyway, but in this day and age having a dozen 15 year olds literally hide when they see you walk through the door does not give you that warm and fuzzy feeling that leads to a customer wanting to overspend on golf clubs. Two employees (teenage girls) were having a full on conversation in the middle of the floor and not assisting customers. One looked like she was about to have a panic attack as I approached, so I made a sharp turn and went the other way. Another customer (in a hijab) stood at the "pick up" center within 2 feet of an employee who did everything in her power to ignore her and cut paper for some reason. Another employee who was sweeping the sidewalk outside had to literally come inside with a broom and dust pan in hand to help this poor woman. Laughably bad service all around. I came in here to get a Northface jacket that I saw for sale on their website. The sales associates were very friendly and I was informed that the jacket I was looking for was on the second floor. The store was very clean and organized, and checking out was seamless. Parking as well was super easy in the front as well. I will definitely come back to this location if I need anything else. read more

I've only been here a few times but I've had pleasant experiences. The staff is also there to help and there are lots of them to. The prices tend to be a little more high end but it's really good quality most of the time. They have lots of different brands from Nike to Carry Underwood! They also sell hunting, sports, biking products and much more! This store is two floors so it is a bit larger. I would recommend shopping here. read more

Went looking for a Pirates cap and found one. Nice staff.

Spent 45 minutes deciding on hiking shoes. One person asked if we needed assistance. Finally decided on a pair of $125 shoes. Also decided on a $45 backpack. Got in line to pay, only to find 5 people ahead of us with only one cashier working. As we waited, I ordered everything on Amazon with no movement in the line. Needless to say, we left our items and the line and went home. Items will be delivered within 5 days. read more

Dick's has a good selection and their stores are laid out very week; but it all falls apart when it comes to their checkout experience. There are never enough registers open and each transaction seems to take forever. The register staff definitely have issues with removing security tags. Worse of all, you can not see the register as they ring things up. They just tell you a total and you don't know how they arrived at it. If a sale item comes up at an incorrect price, you don't realize until you get your paper receipt, then you have to go back through a line and try to have it corrected. Good store ... poor shopping experience when it comes to checkout. read more

This is the mecca of Dick's Sporting Goods stores! The entrance is like a throne to Nike with other vendors such as UA, Reebok, Lucy, and Carrie Underwood's Calia tucked off to the side. Though I had a couple sales associates approach me asking for assistance, I was unimpressed when I heard a little spat between two employees as one yelled angrily at the other one about having his coffee on the sales floor. Overall, it was a beautiful store but keep employee spats in a more private place. read more

Dick's has most things sports folk of all ilks could want. Staff is usually attentive and helpful. Only one negative incident and that was at checkout. Person was clearly not understanding basics in customer service. Your mileage may vary from store to store. read more

Everything is over priced and they do not stock a hiking, work, or hunting boot in size 8 of ANY BRAND AT ALL!!!!

Overall I have had very good experiences with store employees at this store, but today was not one of them. I would venture to say we were in the store close to an hour as we were shopping post holiday deals on jackets and shoes. I witnessed groups of employees chatting with each other, avoiding eye contact with us when we were looking for help and walking the other direction when we started to walk their way hoping to get some assistance. I thought we were in Walmart for a minute. I looked for a manager on the way out as I prefer to discuss my dissatisfaction in person, but did not find one. Maybe that is the issue? read more

This store is awesome. I came here for the 2nd time this past weekend after having a terrible experience at the Northway Mall location. I made a return and promptly made my way to the fishing department. A younger guy named Ryan was working and man did he know his stuff. He was showing me all sorts of different fly rods (Salmon and Steelhead trips this winter) as well as some new reels for the crankbait rod. He was checking for availability online (Left hand retrieve is tough to come by), had me trying out different reels, showing me some of his favorite as well as why he likes them. Just all around great experience. Picked up some things and landed a few sauger and some bass with the new recommendations. Went to check out and was spotted perusing the sunglasses, Owen came right up and was showing me all sorts of different gear in all different prices (Not sure i can bear to lose another pair of Costas in the bottom of the river) Friendly, attentive, and hard working. Major shout out to both of these guys Ryan and Owen! Brought back some of my faith in Dicks Sporting Goods, when i need something from Dicks it will be from this store. read more

Worst service ever! Unhelpful, unknowledgeable, uncaring staff. Website indicated a plentiful supply of desired product, however the staff could not find anything! Drove an hour to get this product quickly and ended up getting it from the website anyway... Later than I wanted and not in time for Fathers Day. read more

I'm giving this Dicks two stars because they do have just about everything you'd want. But, It all started with the greeter out front. Us: What's going on!? Greeter: good Us: okay. Some of the staff walks around with their cell phones, some I'm not sure are alive and some of their "athletic attire" looks like something I would sleep in. On our way down the escalator, the guy in front of us, a few steps down, crop dusted us. I'm not sure if it's a crop dust because he was standing still and the stairs were moving. But, a fart touched my face as the stairs forced us through the madness. When I was done thinking about how my beard probably smelt we made our way to checkout. The girl who checked us out had less personality than the fart we were forced through. Most times when I go shopping I expect potential hazards such as mediocre service, well placed farts and angsty teenage workers. Thankfully we didn't need anything that required too much thought. So I hereby grant this Dicks two wonderful stars. read more
