First, I will say, Kailee and Hannah are kind, intelligent, charming, and professional and my…read moreoverall experience here was 5 star.
I went here to return two pair of Crocs I'd bought online at crocs.com. I figured I might find some to replace them (which I did) or at least get a quicker refund.
When I got to the mall, I drove around looking for a Crocs sign because it's a big outlet mall and I didn't want to walk from one end to the other, searching. So, I called the store and asked where I should park to be close to the store.... what major sign on the outside of the building should I look for. The guy who answered the phone said, "I dunno, I'm an employee, so I park in the back and use the employee entrance." I said, "Well, I'm IN the back, so can you tell me what major sign on the building to look for (NIke, Levi, etc)"?
He just repeated, "Maam, I told you, I don't know. I'm an employee and I use the employee entrance by American Eagle." I said, "Yeah, but you should KNOW how to tell people how to find your store. Is there an American Eagle SIGN on the outside of the building"? | saw the sign and said, "Never mind, I see it", and hung up. I figured it was some kid and it was his first job and management did a poor job of training him.
I got inside (the entrance to the right of American Eagle, in the back, BTW) and located a map and found the store. The mall maps are NOT that great, but that's not Crocs fault. Anyway, once inside, one of the young ladies that work there, offered assistance, and I mentioned the guy on the phone. That's when I found out HE'S THE MANAGER!!! O...M...G!!!! And he's about 50-60...old enough to KNOW BETTER. Actually....I don't care HOW old you are... (I'm 61)...if you're working somewhere, you should be able to tell your customers HOW to get to your store once you get to the mall. That's just common sense (which I guess HE does NOT have). And he acted like he didn't care. That's just pathetic. BTW...his name is KEVIN.
Later on, I'm looking at the jibbitz also, along with several other people, and he comes by with little boxes and asks everyone but ME if they'd like a little box for their jibbitz. I guess he didn't like me challenging him on the phone and recognized my voice and thought HE'D show me. Whatever, dude. I got a box from one of the NICE young ladies behind the counter. THEN... a little later, he actually stood in my way, as if he didn't see me (looking right at me) when I tried to make my way through to another jibbitz bin. I kept walking toward him and he finally stepped aside.
Seriously....this guy... KEVIN... is ignorant, incompetent, and unprofessional. He should not be in management ANYWHERE. He shouldn't even have a job working in customer service, for that matter.
HOWEVER....KAILEE and HANNAH are AWESOME!! They made my shopping experience wonderful! Dani seems nice too, although I didn't interact with him much. He answered my questions about the jibbitz sale. They informed me of the best way to handle the refund. They held my shoes l'd picked out so I could shop for jibbitz. They noticed that one of the jibbitz was broken. And we had fun just talking about CROCS :-)
I will definitely be back! They had some colors I hadn't seen online and a LOT of jibbitz with an amazing sale. I like being able to actually SEE the jibbitz in person and SEE the shoes and try them on, so you KNOW what the color actually looks like and make sure one shoe is not bigger than the other (some amazon and eBay sellers). I will probably call first to make sure someone besides KEVIN is there to deal with. Other than him, this store was wonderful.
PS.....I read some of the other reviews.
-Lack of parking during busy times is not Crocs' fault.
-8W means 8 womens in Croc world, not 8 wide. There's a 6M right next to that. That should be your first clue.
-Writing a bad review because "crocs gross me out" is just childish.
It has nothing to do with the quality of the store, the product, or the people who work there.
