This is the place if you need all your sporting or camping needs. DSG's carrys name brand gear such as Nike, Adidas's and others. They carry a large assortment of clothes for men, women and children. You can also get your bicycle gear and repairs here as well. This huge place is truly a one stop shop, for every sport or outdoor activities.

Went to the mall to buy a new pair of sneakers. I parked outside of Dick's because this was one of the places I wanted to look. I've been here multiple times. Never have had a problem. Went to the shoe section. Looked at some. There is a decent selection for men's shoes. I wanted Nike running shoes. A worker asked if I needed help. I said I was just looking for now. I narrowed it down to two pairs. Tried them on and picked a pair. The prices are usually the same for Nike shoes no matter where you go unless there's a sale or coupons. Dick's has that more than other sneaker stores at the mall. There were some on sale but decided to pick a pair that wasn't. Had to splurge some because it's been a bit since my last new pair of sneakers! Checked out, lady at the register was nice and had me enter in my phone number since I forgot my score card.

First let me say this store should be called Orvis: The Adams. There are like five Adams who have…read moreworked here over the past several years. I know this because this is my husband's toy store and I hear so many stories about Adam Schroder or Adam Slavinski or Adam the big cheese manager. I can't keep them all apart. All I know is one of them just shaved his beard and my husband is distraught. I'm pretty sure my husband is thinking about changing his name to Adam. Before my husband ever started fly fishing, I used to go here with my daughter clothes shopping. They have some really great brands - made in America - excellent customer service. When my husband put down his guitar and picked up his fly rod (only one expensive hobby at a time, please), this became the go-to place for all the things. Fly rods. Reels. Bags. Shirts. Pants. You get the drift. This is where my husband was introduced to and fell in love with Kuhl pants. He also really loves the Orvis-branded hats and shirts and jackets. This year he even has some things on his wish list for the dog. They've got a great selection of dog beds and toys in wonderful quality. And as I said, made in America, which is very important to our family. And then there are the Adams. They are really knowledgeable about the area fishing spots and my husband knows he can rely on them for current information. He just got home from Orvis, as a matter of fact, where one of the Adams told him Oatka and the Niagara River are looking pretty good right now. Tip: They teach free fly tying and fly fishing classes as well. If you're at all interested in learning how to fly fish, this is hands-down the best place in the area to learn. Ask for Adam.

We borrowed poles and were able to head outside to learn how to Fly Fish. We even got to attempt (and I got one!) using Velcro flies and Velcro fish out on the lawn. It was super silly and fun. The store is neat, clean, and organized. You can get clothing, Shoes, Pet Supplies, and all imaginable gear (and there's a TON) for this sport. Prices range from $100 - $1,500 depending on the level of deep dive you plan to make into the world of Fly Fishing. We are signed up for Fly Fishing 201 in a week and I will report back!

I first went to Roy several years ago, and I ended up buying a significant amount of tackle from him for one simple reason: he's honest and sincere. There's no sales pitch, no gimmicks, and no pressure. He tells you what works, what doesn't, and why. That kind of integrity is rare these days, and it keeps people coming back. The inventory isn't massive, but that's actually part of the strength of the store. If you fish for walleye or troll for salmon, you'll find some very good, unique gear that you won't see everywhere else. Everything on the shelves has a purpose. Prices are reasonable, and the service is truly exceptional. When you ask for advice, you're not getting guesses--you're getting experience. Where Nick's Sporting Goods truly stands apart is archery. If you're an archer or into archery hunting, it's hard to imagine a better shop. Roy is an expert and a genuine archery enthusiast, and it shows in the quality of guidance and setup he provides. If you're passionate about fishing--especially walleye and salmon trolling--or serious about archery and bowhunting, this store is absolutely worth your time. Highly recommended.
