They go above & beyond to help grow the sport in this area- including spearheading the fundraising and installation of red tee pads at Como Lake Park in Lancaster. They have a very active social media presence and post as soon as they receive shipments. They're always happy to set aside a disc or two for you. Also, they accept drop-offs of discs that you may find while on the course and will reach out to the number on the disc to get it returned. If you're a female or beginner getting into disc golf, Spartan has a section of lightweight discs available which are usually easier to control & throw than heavier or higher speed discs. I do find their prices to be a little higher than other stores carrying disc golf supplies. And the presence of vape in the store is a bit off-putting. But, those things aside, it's definitely worth a visit if you play and are looking to add to your bag.

Soon as I walk in, I was greeted by all of the employees who all had a hand in helping me find new shoes, bag, and have a ball drilled for my hand. This place may be small but every crack and crevice is filled with just about anything you can think of to fit your bowling needs - you name it, they have it. I am a very casual bowler and don't know too much of the lingo that comes with experience but these guys were all very informative, knowledgeable, and patient with helping me step by step with everything I needed. They recommended many things without being pushy or overwhelming. Great service, great prices, great selection of products, and they even gave me a free game at Kenmore lanes to try out my new equipment! I can say Mr. Doug Curtis took really good care of us. He made sure it got shipped to a terminal that was closest to our house, made sure I had the right gear that fit our needs, gave me important instructions on when picking up my items from the freight company and called to check up on me after purchase. He even took the time to talk me through putting it together when I had a hard time assembling it. Everything worked out perfectly. I had a friend purchase as well. Nordica Enforcers, I bought last years model and saved MT 50%. He assured me nothing changed on the skis except the graphics. I love the ski. The usual experience in WNY ski shops is either one of the owner hovering trying to sell you everything or conversely kids who are disinterested in helping you at all. He couldn't answer basic questions about sizes and had no idea how to even get me into a boot. Any boot. My experience at Mud, Sweat, and Gears was completely different. An experienced skier who is even familiar with offerings at ski lodge in the Pacific Northwest identified not only why I wasn't able to get into most boots, but what features were necessary for me to find a good fit. He set me up with new boots that have adjustable calf section and room for high arches, then customized them with a heal lift and custom insoles. Thank you!!!

A friend recommended Front Row Sports as a place to talk to about solutions to this painful issue. Now, almost a year later I finally made it over to Union Road. I took my old skates (like 40+ years old) and really expected that I'd have to buy new ones. The two young guys at the tech counter (born well after my skates first were out on the ice) were incredibly understanding and it turned out that the issue was most likely just having really stiff laces and not skipping one lace hole over the top of my foot. The guys were actually really complimentary of my old skates (which were high end back in the day) and said they'd never recommend I get a new pair if they could help it. I got a sharpening too and my total bill was under $20.00. The whole experience was great, and I am not, and do not look like, some cool hockey kid. I'd worried that they'd ignore me when they realized I wasn't in the market for lots of gear, but I really felt like a valued customer. If I every need anything hockey related I'll definitely go back to Front Row on Union Road.

I had previously tried getting fitted at several other shops in my home state without success, so I was hopeful, but skeptical going into this visit. My experience here could not have been better. Despite the store being extremely busy, Rob took an incredible amount of time with me and fit me into eight different pairs of skates. And when I say "fit," I mean thoroughly, every single pair was baked, and I walked in each one while trying different lacing techniques to ensure the best possible fit. This process took several hours, and he had me try every major brand and price point out to find the perfect combination. Rob then stayed 45 minutes past closing time to finish the fitting and even spent additional time after I left punching out a few hot spots on the boots. When I returned to pick up my skates the next day he again took the time to ask detailed questions about my skating style and to explain skate profiling and what would work best for me. The level of knowledge, patience, and dedication shown to me was honestly incredible. If I could give 10 stars, I would. If you need skates or any hockey equipment, do yourself a favor and come here, you will not be disappointed.

The little I looked at the firearms pricing I think they are very competitive, but as a non-New Yorker for the past 38 years, I can't purchase there so I didn't dig in deep. We also picked up a little Camo outfit for our 18Month old grandson while there. Pricing for the work they did was very reasonable, and she made sure we were getting enough insurance in case the unthinkable happened. I cannot say how they improved a horrible moment for us.
