They only had 2 Pac-man shirts for women. They were the dry-fit material and I prefer 100% cotton. The shirts didn't fit right (and they ran a little small) so I opted not to buy one (saved me $28). I was feelin' the hat, but the brim was too big for my face! BOOO!!! Meanwhile, Chris went crazy and bought a sweater, shirt and hat. I called this morning and the guy I spoke to told me he'd put the right size on hold for me since I planned on coming in when I got off work. Things came up at work where I couldn't go in to exchange the shirt so I called them back and asked if they could extend it just until tomorrow since I planned on going back. This is where the problem started. I spoke to a guy who told me he wouldn't extend it because they don't even do holds. I had to go so I said I'd call back and when I did call back I immediately asked for a manager. She gave me the same response and I explained it was a Christmas present and that I JUST needed the size (which was also the last one). I also explained that I live far away and it's hard for me to get over there in which she responded "well I commute from san diego so I think you'll be fine..." It ended up with her telling me she'd put it back on the floor after they closed and I might want to be there at 7 am on Christmas eve so I could get it...Christmas eve is my only day off from work besides Christmas, I really would rather not wake up before the sun to trade a shirt. Honestly, I work retail to so I understand the stress of the holidays but their customer service is probably the worst I've ever had. Not only that but the first guy I spoke to never told me their hold policy to begin with so had I known that I wouldn't have even bothered.

Well, I keep my cash next to my wallet in my pants and I was pretty sure that it was me that dropped the $20 bill. So when I got to my next stop, I looked at my cash and yes, I was missing a $20 bill. I could not believe that any employee would care about a customer and a $20 bill. Superstar. Rich?) was incredibly helpful explaining the differences in sandals, how to fit them, and with helping us figure out which were best for my kid. He let him try on all the pairs, talked to him about which were better for his needs and how they should fit. He didn't have to do any of this, but did! Challenge was they were sold out of my son's size. This man coulda tried to talk him into something else (wherein we would have left temporarily happy but ultimately displeased), but he did not. He sent us down the way to another local shop in the hopes they'd have what we needed (they also did not). We returned and he made sure to give my son the model info so we could buy the right ones on our own and was super helpful and pleasant about all of it. Sure, I would have preferred to buy them directly at the store, but it wasn't to be and unlike some big box or online place, he gave wonderful human service like only a small shop can. 100% recommend coming here for some shopping. After visiting several shoe stores, I suggested we stop by Road Runner Sports and I'm so glad we did. Adam was absolutely amazing. He took the time to perform a fit test to evaluate her stance and better understand what type of shoe would best suit her lifestyle and needs. My mom is always hesitant because most stores never have her shoe size in stock, but Adam patiently listened to her concerns and managed to find three different pairs for her to try. What impressed us most was that all three were styles she never would have considered on her own, yet they were incredibly comfortable and fit her perfectly. There is nothing more important than having comfortable shoes. Our feet support our balance and mobility every day, so finally finding shoes that provided both comfort and style meant the world to her. She was so excited that she immediately changed into her new shoes and wore them for the rest of her vacation, constantly commenting on how comfortable and stylish they were. This is a great store if you are new to running or new to having your feet analyzed. The employees analyze your feet, show you the analysis and bring you shoes specific to the results. It actually is pretty cool. But I'm now 15 years and 30+ half marathons into running, and find myself disappointed when I come here. The issue is that the employees don't seem to know much about running outside of what their iPad tells them, and even worse, they don't seem to care. No one will ask "what shoes are you running in now?" "What type of weekly mileage are you getting in?" "What are your goals?" or "do you have any races coming up"? They were out of stock in my shoe today and didn't bring out comparable shoes or shoes they know and recommend. They just said it was out of stock. They cannot speak about the shoes they sell outside of regurgitating what their iPad tells them. They don't appear to have interest in the local running community either. Last year I mentioned to the associate that I was training for the AFC, and he asked me what that was. For all these reasons, I left again today and drove 45 minutes to Fleet Feet.
