** be aware when purchasing through this lot ** I had multiple meet ups to discuss and crunch numbers on a vehicle I liked on their lot. regardless of where I went and what I got, my credit score was better, and my APR would be lower. I was really clear and concise about my goal of a lower car payment than the current one I had. after many discussion, my credit score was ran and I was told that I was officially approved and that my down payment would only be $1,519.00, and that if I could do that right then...I was getting a 7.24% APR and my monthly payments were $490. boom! enough said (I was current at $560 and 14.9%) I paid the down payment that they said the bank was requesting to meet my numbers, and within minutes I was signing all of the paperwork and drove off the lot that night leaving my old car with them and in the vehicle I wanted. before leaving I told them I had a second key of my trade in vehicle and could swing it by them in the next couple of days. that's what I did, 48 hours later I walked in to drop off the second key to my old car and then was asked to come back to the financial office "real quick". as soon as I sat down, papers were slid in front of me and the gentleman said "so, the bank is actually giving us these numbers...we couldn't get a 7.24%, they could only get 8.24%, so that actualy makes your payments $509.19. mins you this is after I paid the down payment and signed the contract for the numbers they promised upon that down payment. I told them it was really shitty to change things on me AFTER I made a down payment and was told the numbers I wanted (I was very specific from the start on exactly what I wanted), and the response was "yeah I know, we really tried and we went back and forth with the bank more than a few times and unfortunately this is all they can do.....it really comes down to your credit", mind you...my credit is NOT bad. I was basically given the impression that it was that deal or nothing. Not knowing that in this state, the lender and dealership CANNOT change these on you once you've signed UNLESS you give consent..... do you think that was expressed to me? no. I was given the impression that was what had to happen for the deal to happen, that there was no other option and basically that it was MY fault because of my credit. little did I know...once I signed...I gave them permission to change all of that on me and once my husband saw and called them to tell them how wrong it was to do that to me when I thought I was dropping off a key....the only response we got from each person we spoke to was "there's nothing we can do now" and "what we did was legal, nothing we did was illegal". so. just be mindful. I now have to speak with my lawyer and let them take the lead on how it will be handled from here on out, and there are cameras in every room. I saw them all. if they can't provide the film, it does nothing but help me in this case, if they CAN provide the film which will show the lies that were said to my face...it does nothing but help me. they have great vehicles, the gentleman that showed us cars was cool as hell, once your in those doors though just be aware and never sign anything they ask of you once you've made your deal and signed! especially 48 hours later. good luck, soldiers! read more

I recently visited Dick Hannah Kia while shopping for a new vehicle. I initially worked with a salesperson who was new to the role but genuinely kind, patient, and easy to work with. I appreciated his approach and returned later to purchase a specific vehicle after we had already discussed pricing via text. Up to that point, the experience was positive. When discussing the down payment, I asked about using a credit card (primarily for rewards points). I was told that wasn't an option, which was disappointing but not a dealbreaker. However, when my husband asked a finance team member who happened to walk by--Gianni Richards, the finance manager--if there was any flexibility, the response was unnecessarily rude and condescending. He stated it was "borderline illegal" to use a credit card for a down payment. Later, after checking with several other dealerships, I learned this is actually a common practice, so a more straightforward explanation (such as credit card fees) would have been appreciated. The most concerning part of the visit occurred during the finance discussion with Alec Torres, the Sales Manager. He reviewed the standard Kia warranties and then strongly pushed an extended warranty priced at $4,300, stating that Kia vehicles would "absolutely need work" and implying that Kia frequently avoids honoring their own warranties. This messaging was unsettling and raised serious questions about the product itself. When I asked to call a friend with auto sales experience for clarification, I did so on speaker. When asked to provide concrete examples of what Kia would not cover under their warranty, Alec said water in the radio. My friend mentioned this was probably not common and asked for another example Alec struggled to give clear or consistent explanations. Ultimately, we declined the extended warranty. After leaving us waiting for some time, he returned and immediately dropped the warranty price to $2,200--nearly half of the original amount. That drastic reduction was concerning and made the entire process feel more like a negotiation tactic than a transparent conversation. At that point, we decided to leave. I felt bad for our salesperson, who was professional and pleasant throughout, but the overall experience with management left us uncomfortable. The following day, I received a follow-up email asking about my visit, which is when I realized the primary issues stemmed from the Sales Manager himself. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership. I'm relieved we walked away, though I genuinely feel for customers who may have felt pressured into costly add-ons under similar circumstances. I'm leaving two stars only for my salesman. read more
